What it lacks in long-term replay value, Simian.Interface more than makes up for in inventiveness.- Modojo

If you want to explore every last upgrade in this free game, you'll probably need to invest some of your real money at some point, but there's more than enough content up front to keep you busy and amused for at least a few hours this weekend.- Modojo

Taken at face-value, it would be easy to dismiss the game, but what separates Amazing Runner from the rest of the endless-running pack is that on a minute-to-minute basis it's actually fun and refreshing to play. It still leans far too heavily on some established genre tropes, particularly in the upgrade store, but anyone look for a highly polished take on this most saturated area of the App Store would do very well to make this their next destination.- Modojo

Alien Hominid: PDA Games is a delightful effort every App Store user should own. If only The Behemoth would release Alien Hominid proper, we'd be set.- Modojo

The game's influences are pretty clear, but it's also got a few twists that make it very much its own game. Combine this fun gameplay with some of the neatest artwork and audio we've seen in a free-to-play game for some time, and you suspect the developers at No Monkeys are about to land themselves a pretty good haul.- Modojo

While it isn't as fast as other titles in its genre such as "F-Zero GX," it more than makes up for its lack of quickness with dreamy visuals, a fabulous artistic style, memorable music, tight analog controls, and promised downloadable content, making it one of the few absolute must-have PSP launch titles.- Modojo

Bomberman Land Touch 2 does exactly what it needs to do, lets you bomb your way through various mini-games and an insanely fun battle mode for a pretty modest price.- Modojo

With a lengthy single player mode, limited but engaging multiplayer games and attractive visuals given the hardware, World at War is among the system's best shooters and worth your cash. Enlist today.- Modojo

Since portable versions and spin-offs of console games usually come up short, we went into Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate with low expectations and discovered a quality experience that favors brains just as much as brawn.- Modojo

Is it the deepest, most complex game on the App Store? Of course not. You can plow through the entire thing in a few hours, maybe less. On the flip side, The Lorax was more entertaining than we expected, and the fact that we didn't have to spend a dime was key. A treat indeed.- Modojo

Skylanders Swap Force is another entertaining 3DS game, and one of the few that compliments its console counterpart. Considering it's compatible with previously released Skylanders, there's a tremendous amount of value packed into the box. The missions feel familiar, but that probably won't matter much to hardcore fans desperate for their newest fix.- Modojo

There's no denying the fact that the entire game involves sitting on a swivel and rotating around the same old scenery. There simply aren't enough stages in the game, and the lack of creativity with the weapons means you'll see everything this title has to offer within an hour, at best.- Modojo

Everything you've enjoyed about both Harry Potter and the wonderful Lego series of games can be found here: the exploration, the intricate puzzles built into the very fabric of the world, and a chance to savour the world of Potter and friends just one more time. It may not be the best use of the brand, but there's still plenty to be had for existing fans.- Modojo

Even with its somewhat crude presentation and hands-off gameplay experience, Every Hero has plenty of appeal and replay value. Plus, it's free of charge - and it's not every day you can get a hero to do something for nothing.- Modojo

Although it's far better enjoyed in sips, rather than gulps due to its short length and simple nature, Super Lemonade Factory Part 2 is just as savory as the first game. Pick it up if you're a fan of the classics.- Modojo

Even allowing for these ad hiccoughs, Monsta Brick Breaker is still an enjoyable addition to the ball-and-paddle genre. Let's just hope the developers can come up with a patch that doesn't make these minor problems more monstrous.- Modojo

Ultimately, this could have been the definitive Tekken. As it stands, Namco Bandai will have to settle with having a good video game, by no means a bad thing, and if all you plan to enjoy is multiplayer, raise the score another half star.- Modojo

If you're a huge JRPG fan or just enjoy playing on mobile for long bouts of time this game may scratch your itch. However, with the high price and time investment, this game isn't particularly conductive to mobile gaming.- Modojo

Everyday Spelunker isn't for everyone, and some people will simply give up before even attempting the game's later levels. That said, old-school platforming fans - and nostalgic NES lovers - can very happily buy with confidence.- Modojo

While light on narrative, This Could Hurt comes with an abundance of 3D platforming goodness that'll challenge players of all skill levels. And with just four worlds to explore, it should evolve over time as the developers figure out new ways to drive us nuts. Worth checking out.- Modojo
