In this day and age, it's rare to see a classic collection with unbelievable quality, so I'll take what I can get. Battle Collection is a must-purchase for its wide variety and great features.- Modojo

Taken for what it is, Ski Safari provides several hours of snow-carving fun, and this is made even cooler with the inclusion of in-game achievements and, most importantly, leaderboards via Game Center, where the desire to rise up a few levels will definitely fuel your virtual skiing addiction.- Modojo

Unless you despise GTA, Chinatown Wars is an essential purchase. Rockstar did an excellent job transferring the mayhem to the DS, and we suggest you run out and buy a copy ASAP.- Modojo

Strikefleet Omega invokes some very happy memories of one of PC gaming's greatest triumphs, Homeworld. While this is a far more arcade-like, simplistic and brisk version of that classic RPS, we've given up hope on a third installment of the game ever seeing the light of day, and so this is just what we need to keep us occupied on the way to work in the mornings.- Modojo

Speed and control niggles aside, it's an incredibly imaginative title that might lean on an old staple of gaming for its core gameplay, but also freshens the experience up enough to make a corner of that genre its own.- Modojo

There's no excuse not to at least dip into the free version of Draw Rider, assuming you have the patience to enjoy the agonizing sense of frustrating fun these games typically offer up. If this generous free taste of the game tickles your fancy, we don't think you'll hesitate to unlock the full game immediately.- Modojo

It is a genuinely tense game that will leave you with a frozen grin of terror on your face as you desperately try to preserve the last remaining wisps of your hull, while fighting to deliver the final blow yourself. In short, there's nothing else quite like it on the App Store.- Modojo

A fun homage to the glory days of video games, back when controllers didn't have a whole mess of buttons. Ah, memories.- Modojo

No, Gunner Z won't change the zombie-shooter genre as we know it, but it's a solid entry that deserves a download, especially if you like watching black-and-white carnage fly. Destruction is still destruction, after all.- Modojo

While not the greatest platform game to grace iOS and Android, INC is without question one the best, with spot on controls (so long as you use the on-screen arrows instead of tilting) and a slick old school vibe.- Modojo

A fantastic sequel. If it had online play and cleared up its long loading issues, it'd be a sure-fire five-star winner. As is, though, it'll have to do just being a great sequel and fun for all ages.- Modojo

When all's said and done, there's no denying that Jewel Mania remains the fiendishly addictive little puzzle game it's always been, and your kids will love the Halloween flavor to this seasonal edition. Don't expect anything revolutionary, but do expect more than a few missed bus stops. You've been warned.- Modojo

At the end of the day, though, Outland Games is the same old runner we've played over the last few years. On the positive side, it is both polished and fun, making it a worthwhile download regardless of whether or not you played Monday Night Combat. That said, you don't need to know anything about that Xbox Live Arcade shooter to enjoy what this quality game has to offer.- Modojo

But there's certainly nothing wrong with that, especially when it's a quality effort like Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. Great for fans, casual players and kids (in other words, everyone), it's a well made, cool and value packed kart racer that's worth the cash.- Modojo

Whether or not you should buy Cave Story 3D boils down to A.) if you played another version before, and B.) how much you loved it. At $39.99, it's significantly more expensive than purchasing the DSiWare port ($9.99) via the 3DS eShop. Go that route, and you receive a similar, arguably better experience at a fraction of the cost.- Modojo

It's the most complex runner we've played, and makes us excited for the future of App Store platformers. To that end, we hope this isn't the last we've seen of Belle, or Fabrication Games, for that matter.- Modojo

It's a fresh and enjoyable take on the physical gameplay we've all become familiar with at drunken parties in the past, and you shouldn't let any freemium quibbles put you off at least giving the game your best shot.- Modojo

Ideally, an endless mode would have topped off the game nicely, but for now, Rock Runners is a smart mix of old and new school design, wrapped in a joyful platforming experience iOS users will dig for weeks. Kudos to everyone involved.- Modojo

Despite the learning curve and handful of microgames, WarioWare D.I.Y. is one of Nintendo's most ingenious and satisfying DS efforts, and we strongly recommend playing it on the DSi XL, where those big screens make it easier to draw and view your creations.- Modojo

Contract Killer Zombies 2 Origins is a fun zombie shooter with plenty of gore and content to keep you firing for days. It presents nothing we haven't seen before (admittedly, the mission screen displayed as a map, complete with flashlight, is a nice touch), but who cares? You should pay more attention to the creatures trying to rip Evelyn's face off.- Modojo

Seriously though, if you can track down a copy of It's Mr. Pants buy it immediately. It's not that it's the greatest puzzle game on the market, but it's pretty damn addictive, and it makes you think in ways that games such as Tetris and Lumines don't.- Modojo
