Dungeons is a good strategy game mixed with tower defense and RPG elements, but it fails due to some technical issues and repetitive gameplay.- Meristation

Aliens vs Predator is a pretty cool addition to the epic of the two races, violent extraterrestrial beings. Although the graphics are not state of the art and the game's not the best first person shooter out there, it gives the chance to live the terrific environment of the movies and it's loyal to the spirit of both characters.- Meristation

Crymachina turns out to be a simple and unpretentious experience that stands out mainly for its agile combat system and the story outcome, with a charismatic cast of protagonists, being its strong points.- Meristation

The same game with a new definition. There aren't news or extras in a videogame from 2001 that does not display much improvement and costs 20 dollars/euros. It is essential for those who did not play at the time, ten years ago.- Meristation

A living manual of how to update a classic: getting the core idea and expanding and inventing new situations around it. InXile has done a really good work with this Choplifter HD, making it a really recommended purchase for any fan of the original.- Meristation

Forget the PC version because this adaptation of the brilliant Spore isn’t at all on the same level as Will Wright’s new gem. Spore Creatures for the Nintendo DS uses basic gameplay based on doing missions related to finding various items and then using them to create a new monster in a nicely done monster editor. Anyway, the game isn’t bad for little kids.- Meristation

Mario & Sonic go back to basics in this new installment of the long-running franchise. Now only a few buttons will suffice for all sports, in a way that reminds closely the gameplay of old Sega arcade titles such as Virtua Athlete. Also, the new "Duel events" add random items, so typical of the Mario Franchise, to three sports for a more "party" approach. However, it could have packed some more sports and scenarios to compete, as it falls short in that regard.- Meristation

Godfather II works quite well as a gangster manager, but fails to deliver as a GTA-style sandbox. Its technical side is poor in all sections and despite the fact that we have plenty of options to gain control of the cities, it soon becomes repetitive. Globally it stays way under GTA IV, but as a mafia manager it still has a point.- Meristation

Vostok Inc. is a funny game where you play as Jimmy Goldmann, a true capitalist CEO. It's a good game, but it has a problem: it's so repetitive if you play seven or eight hours (or more).- Meristation

Long and difficult but a bit repetitive, Spelunker party is a good choice for old school gamers that want a title to show their children how challenging games used to be.- Meristation

The name of the game does great justice with the final result. Baja features a wild control system that doesn´t help to feel like driving. The game tries to go using the dirt track but at the end, it can´ t recover and finish falling down the mountain. While there are some interesting game modes, like the Baja endurance competition, the number of variables that affect our car are just too much for a normal player. The choppy framerate makes the game a bad choice on PS3, while the Xbox 360 version is smoother and much more detailed.- Meristation

Codemasters Racing Studio offers the best Formula One game with F1 2015. The EGO Engine improves on new generation platforms and it's a great idea to include the 2014 season. You'll miss some game modes and a more realistic AI.- Meristation

Darkspore takes some parts of the evolution simulator Spore, but not enough to create a title able to beat its alternatives. If we forget that there once was a game called Spore, Maxis's new job is a fluid, agile and fun ARPG, perhaps too simple and repetitive but with enough hours of fun. A good way to spend time, but if you want greater depth you will find better it in other alternatives.- Meristation

Black Knight Sword is a good return to the roots of the 16-bit action games, well crafted, with an amazing design in terms of setting and ambiance. The campaign isn't very long, but the most insane and bizarre high-level entertainment of the year is guaranteed.- Meristation

Better than Risen 2. Fun characters, interesting setting, and nice character progression but combat is still somewhat problematic. A fun adventure full of possibilities. However, Piranha needs to go back to what made Gothic such a timeless classic.- Meristation

Yoshi’s New Island brings Baby Mario at its best, taking the old-school formula to a new level of platform-gaming. It won’t be a challenge, nevertheless, for those who consider themselves as hardcore-gamers, since it’s quite easy to beat most of the final bosses we encounter from the beginning to the end of the adventure.- Meristation

Goku's on his best on the latest Wii adaptation of his particular story. This time we'll facing with King Piccolo in a beat 'em up that contains different platform aspects and, what's more important, very interesting gameplay mechanics that everyone will enjoy. It's not perfect, but a good choice for next Christmas.- Meristation

The Falconeer tries to fly so high from very early, but as the hours go by, its structure ends up holding back any hint of excellence and it is reduced to simplicity, which is a shame considering how interesting its planning is. The control is precise, the narrative context is rich and absorbing, but flying is not as satisfying as it could be, clouded by a mission design with repetitive and insistent patterns. The magic is short-lived, despite being a brief and enjoyable experience on the artistic level.- Meristation
