It's not what we could've called 'new' or 'original', but Alien Breed 3: Descent is a fair an interesting game. 'Tis a pitty that the grand finale wasn't as incredible as expected but, no matter what, is fun and it's worth the money it costs.

While WRC2 presents a good selection of cars and circuits for Rally fans, it's still a bit lacking in the technical and audiovisual side, and it presents a weird balance between simulator and arcade that doesn't make it any favour.

Sid Meier's Starships is a quick and quite entertaining turn-based strategy game. Perhaps it's the beginning of a new sub-genre that might be called 5X with a fifth 'x' corresponding to eXpress. It is often said that brevity is the soul of wit but any regular follower of the Civilization series will remain hungry for more. It just has to be seen for what it is: fast food or something to snack on between meals.

Aphelion is exactly what you’d expect from a Don’t Nod game. More interesting narratively than in gameplay, it boasts strong graphics, sound, and atmosphere—but not much else.

Accel World vs Sword Art Online uses the base from “Sword Art Online: Lost Song” with an upgrade in both graphics and some playability aspects. It’s not revolutionary but the combination from this with the amount of characters from both series makes this an interesting title which will be a nice option to their fans.

The Wheelman is a fusion between the sandbox and the race genre. Featuring ideas taken from games like Driver, Need for Speed and GTA, Vin Diesel is the main figure of the staff between the game. Controlling Milo Burik, a sort of undercover cop, we´ll travel to Barcelona to see what´s happening there. We´ll never know which is our real objective, and the plot lacks depth and connection. Racing through Barcelona, we found a decent game that has a mix of driving and shooting. Pack this with a fair graphic engine and you have a title that performs well but is not at the level of the best.

It nails the style it is pursuing and looks like a lost piece of 90s, but the level design and some important bugs in its launch makes it a very frustrating experience the more you play.

Although RiME retains the charming artistic value and its emotional factor, the Switch conversion is very unstable on a technical level, a fact that affects the gameplay.

Undercover is entertaining, has excellent controls and offers lots of variety for the vehicles avaliable, which combined with a great soundtrack makes a solid racing game. Sadly, the mediocre technical performance undercuts the presentation values and the light difficulty level will turn down the most dedicated players.

It's one of the worst Ratchet and Clank but it's different. Low price and cross-buy make it more irresistible but its graphics are mediocre and it isn't well balanced. Online modes with cross-play PS3-PSVita.

Hellpoint isn't the best "soulslike", but it's far from the worst. If you're a fan of the Dark Souls saga and have nothing better to do this strange summer, this can be your game.

The game is fun and engaging, but it has so many flaws overall that it's not as good a game as it should have been. The great but repetitive gameplay, along with the average visuals and very few tracks, won't make this game remarkable. But it can be a fun alternative for fans of the genre.

Mr.Esc has done it again, and this time he's going to rescue as many people as he can in this irrisistible NDS port of the critically aclaimmed puzzle-based Exit. More than 100 levels of puzzles and platforms await to the players who have not experienced this enjoyable work from Taito.

Summer in Mara is a beautiful and whimsical game as you embark into an adventure where the world is the core of the experience. However, in a title presented as a crafting and management game, those mechanics are secondary at the end of the day. Some parts of the gameplay are so repetitive; plus, you can feel lost or confused. Overall, Chibig tried to do more than necessary and the result is not as remarkable as it could have been.

A game that can be fun, but overall not so good. Great visuals and an interesting combat system, with some good moments. But its story is not as good as it should be, gameplay is a bit harsh playing with keyboard, and it's so typical that it isn't a fun experience overall.

It's a good attempt to create a portable Assassin's Creed, but it has many gameplay flaws: not enough depth, it's repetitive and extremely simple. Also, visually it has several ups, but even more downs, so overall it's just fine. We hope to see improvements in future entries on this series on the PSP, as this game shows us that there is potential for a good handheld iteration.

We wanted a Castle of Illusion for 3DS, and this game is definitely not that. Drawing on the touch screen is painful and slows the jumps and collecting items. Many of Disney's names are its best attraction.

UltraCore has a truly amazing backstory and definitely has an audience in 2020. Although some platforming sections would have needed more time in the oven, the game is a solid run'n gun for the dedicated fans of the genre, with the appeal of an unreleased Mega Drive game.

Interesing but offering nothing new at all, the handheld version of Split / Second: Velocity is basically a port of the PS3-X360-PC versions of the license. Visually amazing, its delivers the fast-paced racing that conquered the audience a few months ago.
