    Any gamer that cries for a new, classic Castlevania should put their money where their mouth is and buy this game immediately. Beyond that recommendations are harder to make.

    Black Knight Sword is a good return to the roots of the 16-bit action games, well crafted, with an amazing design in terms of setting and ambiance. The campaign isn't very long, but the most insane and bizarre high-level entertainment of the year is guaranteed.

    It's fun and challenging but, above all, unique. There are some issues related to the control of the characters that prevent it from becoming a must-have, but still is a great choice worth having a try.

    Black Knight Sword is a stylish anachronism, but an anachronism nonetheless. Its richest ideas are to be found in the presentation, the aesthetic, the art direction and stage direction. Elsewhere, this is a rather rote production, its substance plainly enjoyable, but mostly forgettable.

    The design is horrible and the sound is even worse. Add a mediocre gameplay and we can't grade Black Knight Sword any higher than a simple 4.
