Although it tries to reinvent the franchise it doesn’t represent a step forward. Quite the opposite. It throws away some of the promising elements of previous titles in favor a new structure and gameplay with little depth. And it still fails to offer the same flair as other Street brand titles from EA Sports Big. [March 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

- Critic Score
It doesn’t manages to even threaten EA’s or 2K Sports’ franchises. Even running at 1080p it can’t hide the serious control problems, the AI and the lack of a good career mode. An absolute “air ball” that should make Sony rethink the future of this series. [Feb 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It tries hard to be a good mixture of action, strategy and RPG. But its repetitive nature, limited gameplay and few strategic options make for a boring experience. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The gameplay is very challenging and realistic, alongside a very good mechanic component and the inclusion of all the licenses of the Superbike world. But only the really hardcore fans of motorcycle competitions will be able to put aside its technical limitations. [Aug 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

All the pilots and all the tracks of this season, with a handling that falls between an arcade racer and a simulation. It’s a competent proposition but there are better alternatives. [Nov 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Promising to crush the opposition, Impact! concentrates on the gameplay, overlooking everything else. This way, it has strong points in the gameplay and graphics, but then there are the flaws in the AI, the limited set of moves, the lack of content and a very limited Story Mode. But the future of the series can be bright. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The classic debuts on the DS with a lot of what was to be expected. That is to say: nice graphics, sound, and very classic gameplay. A Continue option would be welcome; unfortunately it’s not present and it will be necessary to repeat the game from scratch if Tiki runs out of lives, meaning it tends to become a bit repetitive. It’s not perfect, but it’s still fun and should please those who appreciate this genre. [Feb 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Not that we were expecting something big from this game. But something like this, unfinished and with no personality whatsoever, will quickly drown in a highly competitive industry... even more so if it’s an FPS. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

You will find a monotonous and linear experience that doesn’t seem to have any relation with either the movies or the comics. Only the co-op and the amount of playable characters can be of any interest to any Spidey fan. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It doesn’t have the quality of other survival horrors, including the original game, mostly because of its average visuals and clumsy gameplay. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

- Critic Score
It doesn’t make any changes on the mechanics of the original. Which is good if all you’re interested in is to be the fastest character to cross the finish line…but bad because it becomes boring after a while and doesn’t add anything new. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Although it’s not an essential buy, it can very well capitalize on the fever around the Olympic Games. Especially because it has a good amount of competitions, online modes and worldwide rankings. Just a word of advice…your fingers will probably pay a heavy price. [July 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It will frustrate even its core audience with the absence of recovery items, limited inventory and the need to keep your pokemons well fed. It’s also a very repetitive game. There are a lot a better alternative for fans, all of them with less penalties. [July 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The last specimen of a dying genre, Time Crisis 4 tries to revive itself with a new FPS mode. Unfortunately, the outcome is very poor, and a set of technical problems obliterate all the fun obtained with the classic shooter mode. And only that guilty pleasure prevents an even lower score. - Critic Score
For its target audience, one of the strongest points of this game will be the fact that they can play with Ben, and the super heroes he can transform in. Those who only wish that can add a few extra points to the final rating. However, the remaining players will have to deal with the fact that the game is too limited, too easy, and too repetitive. It manages to take some advantage from the movie license. Its gameplay is accessible but interesting, with simple puzzles, platform jumps and combo based combats. It will please its target audience. [March 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

A limited exercise plan for the eyes with little challenge that fails to give us the perception that we’re making any real progress. It’s not even close to Brain Training. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Although it tries to be a enjoyable recreation of a board game, the interface, camera and even its own complexity damage an experience that doesn’t seem to fit on a portable console. [Nov 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Even if you're a fan of the anime, the story and dialogues fail to impress. You can still look at it for the novelty of the control scheme, but soon you realize that there are only few movements that you can do, even fewer game modes and almost no difficulty. [May 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

A mix of revolutionary ideas and clumsy execution, Alone in the Dark is like a giant with clay feet. The way it marries new concepts with an old fashion control scheme of the character, not to mention some technical flaws, leaves us with a game that is frequently frustrating and only sometimes brilliant. It doesn’t even measures to something called “Fight Night Round 3”. It only makes us crave more action on the EA virtual square ring. The character editor is quite complete but, besides that, Prizefighter is quite disappointing. [Aug 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Younger players might want this game for its cute characters, but it’s not as fun as it looks. It’s possible that some less demanding children might like it, but there are better party games available out there. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Despite the good background with the "Timespliters" series, Free Radical fails to deliver a appealing game, and the good moments provided by Nectar fall short to face so many negative points. From the problems in the gameplay and AI to the poor graphics and sound, Haze actually makes us cry for the return to "Timesplitters." [June 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

There’s a lot of detail on the scenery and the characters really look like the actors. And it follows the same structure as the show, mixing sections from the island with some flashbacks. But the gameplay is comprised of out of date mechanics and it doesn’t have what is basically the essence of Lost – a plot that really catches your attention. It doesn’t even tie well with the events of the show. [Apr 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It follows the same action/ beat’em up mechanics that we can find on all of the Dynasty Warriors series. It’s basic and can become easily repetitive. Going through levels waiting to find groups of enemies without intelligence stops being appealing after a short while. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)
