Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge - Radical Reptiles is the latest jewel in the crown of the king of modern beat 'em ups. On its own, two extra characters may not seem like much, but this is a low-priced DLC that aims to perfect an already fantastic experience. Add to this the great remix mode, packed with top artists, and there's no doubt that Tribute Games and Dotemu's game has a privileged place as a referent in its genre.- Malditos Nerds

During the early days of Dragon Ball Z, many characters refer to Gohan as a fighter with great hidden potential, that if he could channel it the right way, he would be even more powerful than Goku. Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is like Gohan: a great game that offers a lot and does a lot of things right, but if it had more development time or a better perspective, it could easily rank as the best Dragon Ball title.- Malditos Nerds

Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred is an expansion that improves the original experience. On Xbox Series it offers a smooth experience, with no server outages or bugs and makes Blizzard's classic feel as engaging as it did on day one. The new map is huge, the Spiritualist perhaps one of the most fun classes to play and the endgame content the first substantial improvement to gameplay since its original release.- Malditos Nerds

The most important thing in this type of work is what it conveys. Neva achieves this correctly and clearly, despite occasionally feeling a bit photocopied. It has an identity of its own that at times is diluted in the format so attached to its predecessor. It's a solid experience about growing up and the changing dynamics of motherhood, where we can understand it both as children and as parents.- Malditos Nerds

Metaphor has nothing to envy and establishes itself as a new IP with personality and clear ideas. It executes them throughout the game perfectly, even if the ending becomes a bit tedious due to the overwhelming amount of options regarding how we can spend our time in the game. The narrative is one of the game's strongest aspects, even outside of its genre, and the characters, with only a few exceptions, are all extremely detailed and well-developed.- Malditos Nerds

Bloober Team found the balance between innovation and respect for the original work. What made Silent Hill 2 an unforgettable title is still there. However, horror is a gimmicky genre, of emotions and impacts, and repetition is its greatest enemy. Because if the scares are repeated, they are no longer scary, but frustrating. Silent Hill 2 Remake has the same pacing flaws as The Evil Within or Silent Hill: Downpour: it's a satisfying game that sees us reach the credits with a good taste in our mouths, but when we recap, the overall experience deflates more than once.- Malditos Nerds

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is much better than I expected before playing it. It's a fairly polished experience and close to what a fan of the wizarding world would want from this sport. However, in pursuit of making a good gameplay loop, it overcomplicates things that don't make sense and falls short.- Malditos Nerds

Although it doesn't innovate the genre, Halls of Torment establishes its own identity, with a wide variety of characters, different settings, and great replayability as its strongest points.- Malditos Nerds

Episode Aigis offers more than what Persona 3 Reload gave us. The social balance isn't present in this expansion, but the closure and narrative crumbs are appreciated in its 30 hours of gameplay.- Malditos Nerds

With Frostpunk 2, 11 bit studios once again tests our resolve with a city builder where failure is part of the experience, and weaving a political web involving multiple factions is just as crucial as surviving the apocalypse.- Malditos Nerds

The Plucky Squire is a game that shines with its impeccable art direction, gracefully blending different styles that celebrate the world of video games with each new mechanic. While it has some issues with pacing and a length that can make it feel repetitive, it continues to impress with its creativity on every page of the book.- Malditos Nerds

Continuous and perfectionist, all at the same time. Astro Bot is one of the best 3D platformers of recent years. Hopefully there will be a lot more of this franchise in development.- Malditos Nerds

Outlaws is an experience that, based on stealth and the most western adventure of Star Wars, offers a version of this franchise that we have not yet tasted in video games. It's not perfect and has several issues that are already common in this type of Ubisoft game, but it has heart and knows what to offer fans of the saga.- Malditos Nerds

Conscript is a survival horror that celebrates the classics, paying respect to their mechanics and with a truly terrifying context. The combat system is a bit rough, but the rest of the game compensates and in a matter of hours it becomes an exciting experience.- Malditos Nerds

Gestalt: Steam & Cinder is a good metroidvania with a healthy dose of interesting characters and dialogue. When it comes to combat and exploration it's fun, and while bosses can be a bit easy, it's never boring. Short and ideal to get started in the genre.- Malditos Nerds

Black Myth: Wukong is a fun and challenging hack and slash action game that focuses on dodges, combos, heavy hits, and a large variety of bosses. The title meets the high expectations we had, although the level design left me with a slightly bittersweet taste.- Malditos Nerds

The First Descendant offers a good looking, solid and fast experience. The characters are charming and well designed, the bosses are spectacular battles and the progression is robust. The microtransaccions are expensive but optional, and while the missions are repetitive, they are a good base for future updates.- Malditos Nerds

Zenless Zone Zero is style and is substance, a game with hypnotic action not only because of its visual accomplishments, but also because of how addictive is its gameplay. If HoYoverse properly supports it in the future, then this will be the studio's third victory.- Malditos Nerds

The Final Shape provides a fantastic conclusion to a nearly ten-year narrative. It does so with emotion but without neglecting the spectacular battles with imposing bosses and an exquisite level of action. It is packed with content and serves as the starting point for an intriguing new story arc.- Malditos Nerds

Shadow of the Erdtree is a great DLC that works really well as an epilogue to our story in Elden Ring. The RPG elements get lost since it's thought of as an endgame expansion but it still has everything that makes a great Fromsoftware experience. You will surely enjoy your time with this DLC.- Malditos Nerds

Another Crab's Treasure isn't the messiah of souls, but it doesn't pretend to challenge From Software's work either, but it does take the basic elements that the studio knew how to create and bring them to its comfort zone to generate a unique, narrative experience, with a lot of humour and which is an excellent entry point for new users to this genre. Those who are already familiar with these experiences will feel at home and will not find it hard to get into this underwater world that, by dint of great moments and a package of good ideas, undoubtedly generates more smiles than anxiety.- Malditos Nerds
