These two new remakes will likely be remembered as the weakest, especially considering that they are stuck in the middle of Sword & Shield, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus which is only due out in a few months.- Malditos Nerds

The art, the music and the characters are all beautifully composed to deliver a pleasant audiovisual experience, but it's in the gameplay aspect that this game starts to fall apart. No Straight Roads has a lot of ideas, but most of them don't go well with each other, especially in combat, and when they do go well together it can be a bit difficult to understand what's going on on screen.- Malditos Nerds

Double Kick Heroes is an original experience with strong foundations and lot of love. Unfortunately, all that love and dedication cannot mask the problem of its main mechanics and, although this is far from ruining the game, it is a discomfort that takes a long time for the player to get used to.- Malditos Nerds

Trek to Yomi is impressive as a tribute to Akira Kurosawa and definitely has great audiovisual production, with renowned anime voice actors and amazing soundtrack. In terms of gameplay, however, it falls short.- Malditos Nerds

Souldiers is one of the best modern metroidvanias and can stand up to any of the genre's favourites. Not only does it have great gameplay and spectacular visuals, but it is truly huge and detailed from start to finish.- Malditos Nerds

Salt and Sacrifice is a worthy sequel to one of the best soulslike games of the previous generation. Instead of resting on its laurels and delivering more of the same, it offers a different experience while retaining the essence of the original and at the end of the day, it succeeds.- Malditos Nerds

Wildgate is a space extraction shooter that combines PvP combat, PvE, management, and combat between spaceships. Exploration, crew coordination, and combat chaos are some of the central elements of a game that delivers a good experience.- Malditos Nerds

Beyond Blue is a short game. Very short, actually. Its central narrative can be overcome in just over three hours, and the additional content doesn't add much more. But it is worth playing it as an experience. it succeeds in delighting and amazing players by putting the ocean world right in the center of the stage. It makes us think about our actions and responsibilities as humans in relation to this unknown kingdom, sunk in the deep ocean.- Malditos Nerds

FIFA 21 feels more like a pre-season game for what is to come in the next-gen version. While it has some considerable improvements in terms of career mode, some changes to the Ultimate Team interface, and a gameplay experience somewhat superior to last year, the rest remains the same.- Malditos Nerds

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is recommended for all those who want an escape from the typical Pokémon formula, or an accurate spin-off of Dragon Quest. It doesn't matter if you're entertained by or drawn to this world. Of course, if this is the case, you will enjoy this adventure much more, but those who are looking for an RPG of this kind will not be disappointed.- Malditos Nerds

12 Minutes is deliberately obtuse and requires us to use our imagination to the fullest. In the end we are going to take an extremely cloudy, but memorable story, worthy of a Black Mirror chapter, with delicious aesthetic and a handful of decisions that will keep us pondering.- Malditos Nerds

Carto is adorable. A sympathetic story filled with an infectious enthusiasm for adventure. While it falls very short in several sections, any game that leaves us wanting more is always a good game, after all.- Malditos Nerds

Wattam flaunts the same absurd, childlike humor that Katamari Damacy did, setting the bases of its design in the logic of the playground, but this time Takahashi offers a different game - a miniature sandbox in which the rhythm is dictated by the player, with a fine story and dozens of lovely characters.- Malditos Nerds

Little Hope is the game that ends up establishing The Dark Pictures Anthology as the greatest benchmark for interactive horror stories. Man of Medan took a promising first step, but this time the balance between script, acting and interactivity is perfect.- Malditos Nerds

Cookie Cutter is an interesting metroidvania, but with some contrasts. On the one hand we have Cherry, with her vulgar and violent personality, a remarkable artistic section and a varied group of charismatic NPCs. But on the other hand, Subcult Joint's work can't escape the typical tropes of the genre. It is a game that, at the end of the day, is built on the guidelines of a genre that borders on over-exploitation. Even so, it is still a very fun video game that stands out for several reasons. In other words, it is not a perfect or revolutionary title, but it is one that is worth giving a chance.- Malditos Nerds

Episode Aigis offers more than what Persona 3 Reload gave us. The social balance isn't present in this expansion, but the closure and narrative crumbs are appreciated in its 30 hours of gameplay.- Malditos Nerds

Shadow Warrior 3 is a huge disappointment and a wasted opportunity to elevate the series and take it out of the niche it's been in for a long time; in fact, it's a considerable step back from Shadow Warrior 2. Lo Wang is constantly irritating and prevents us from enjoying those moderately well-executed moments.- Malditos Nerds

Sand Land is the latest video game adaptation of one of Akira Toriyama's works, presenting us with a world devoid of water, tyrants, bandits, and numerous secrets. With a simple open world and outdated combat, Sand Land falls short of offering a complete experience to the player.- Malditos Nerds

This game’s high potential is squandered by poor localization and presentation. I could let it go with that usual “fans are gonna love it” cliché, but fans don’t deserve such a badly explained game. It’s like getting a beautiful model kit as a present, with only a hammer to assemble it.- Malditos Nerds

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is clearly a game from another generation. There is a lot here that the series still does well, particularly when it comes to setting and story. However, years don't come alone, and the quality of this remastered, along with the game's control problems of controls, really make the experience less interesting.- Malditos Nerds

From the point of view of the narrative, Through the Darkest of Times is a fascinating and very important game so that we never forget the atrocities that stain the history of the 20th century. However, if you are looking for a good strategy game, better look elsewhere.- Malditos Nerds

Maneater is more than entertaining with a good quality product, good control, great map design and a story of sea revenge full of surprises. It may not be a game of the year, but it's still a great game, funny with a very dark sense of humor.- Malditos Nerds

What began as a compelling exploration of the Vampire: The Masquerade universe quickly became an endurance test. This is a peculiar, idiosyncratic game, both in its narrative structure and the many capricious design choices. I’m sad to say I can’t recommend it.- Malditos Nerds

Minecraft Dungeons is a missed opportunity in every sense. After playing the first map, the formula is constantly repeated, only differing in terms of colors and the paths to take. The main story goes completely unnoticed, to the point that you forget about the main goal. The best way to enjoy it is in co-op mode, because, once the story mode is over, it has nothing else that can surprise us.- Malditos Nerds

The remastered version of Saints Row: The Third feels like a wasted opportunity. If in addition to dealing with the technical aspect, Sperasoft would hve polished the playable experience a bit, updated the AI and solved the most obvious problems, perhaps it would have been worth revisiting it 9 years later.- Malditos Nerds
