Overwatch needs more content. Right now the game does not justify its price although we know Blizzard will expand it. This hero shooter maintains a perfect balance of gameplay and it has charismatic characters, but perhaps its sales model has not been adequate.

A practically complete sequel that improves almost everything it can improve and offers us the best Spider-Man video game and one of the best superhero video games in history. Outstanding in every way, pampering both the main and the secondary and that will surely leave us wanting more.

If every DLC were like Hearts of Stone when it comes to offering enough content at the right price, complaints about them would probably stop. The perfect excuse for a return to the Northern Realms. Gywnbleidd is still on the Path and you will not regret coming along.

The sound effects make up a deep and immersive atmosphere, perfectly accompanying the visual effects of the techniques used, the sword clashes or the brutal executions that our Wolf is capable of performing, so that the whole puzzle fits perfectly, offering a wonderful show in each and every one of its sections.

Tekken 8 has met expectations and even exceeded them. The opening cinematic alone will make you want to play for hours. It's a title that has been created based on learning from the mistakes made by the franchise in the past and has reinvented itself.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne offers us a gigantic expansion, full of new content dedicated to the most veteran players of the saga and offering many playable novelties that expand the possibilities in this new frozen moorland.

Expensive, as almost every other PlayStation VR game is, and it is already a well-known one for those who already played it on any other platform. Rez Infinite is, as for now, the best game among all others launch titles for PS VR. The audiovisual experience is unique in a game that looks as if it was already thought to be a VR game back then, taking advantage of every aspect from stereoscopic and 360º vision.

Titanfall 2 takes the first spot in the frantic, close-quarter scenario shooters. Respawn Entertainment has put a lot of effort in this game, clearly aiming to take the spot of the Call of Duty franchise, whose last entry will be on stores in a few days. An amazing campaign and an entertaining multiplayer.

Miyazaki did it again. With nothing new but using its successful formula, Dark Souls III becomes the best entry in the franchise and a serious contender for Game of the Year. If you're a fan of the franchise or have played any of its entries once, you will love this game more than you could imagine. From Software has created a true homage to its players.

A sequel that improves on everything that was possible in the first installment while expanding the storyline of the already created universe. A game for fans who were left wanting more, while also offering outstanding graphical performance on both PS5 and PS5 Pro. In terms of art and music, it's an outstanding and unique game.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is confirmed as the great work of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios after years of bringing us very good games. A complete game, varied, outstanding in almost all aspects and that leaves us expectant of what they will be able to do in the future to match or improve this work.

Resident Evil Requiem is the perfect combination of its two current gameplay styles, condensed into a game where each playable style will have its own value and will alternate. A game for fans who enjoy both, and for Leon fans to get their dose of fan service. Visually stunning, terrifying in sound, it's the peak of recent years of remakes and new releases in the series.

An RPG full of action that will delight players thanks to a lengthy plot and a wide array of possibilities. Even if it shows some technical issues, it's more than just another western RPG adventure.

DICE takes aim with Battlefield 1 and it ends up being a jackpot. It couldn't be a better game taking into consideration the limitations imposed due to the game taking place during WWI. It offers some of the best maps ever seen in the franchise. Tons of charisma for a franchise that stands tall against the dictatorship of sci-fi and double jump.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a nice surprise because rarely is a game such as this is able to surpass expectations. It isn't just a game with a great plot; it isn't just a technical marvel; it isn't just a game with great, addictive gameplay mechanics. It is all of these things and much more. It is, above all, an Aloy that shines on its own, able to rise as the new PlayStation female hero.

What Remains of Edith Finch could have had a cheaper price tag and that would have reduced the negativity from critics due to its 2 hours length. But, if you agree to that $20, Giant Sparrow brings you a new way to experience walking simulators, with a straightforward, great plot that entangles you and is true poetry, taking advantage of that unique level of interaction that only videogames offer. It has a magic halo above it, and that makes it the best indie this year so far.

NieR: Automata is another serious contender for the GOTY in a year that has just begun. Platinum Games' special touch is there, but they have kept the respect needed for Yoko Taro's unique way of storytelling. An adult plot, with complex themes and a superb soundtrack, way above the average, mark the birth of an instant classic. We just hope that the franchise, somehow, keeps on going.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will go down in history for being a Triple A game with production values worth of a TV series. Every good aspect of the game are the same ones that made Tomb Raider (2013) a superb game, and it is still as enjoyable as it was back then. It is a must if you like action and adventure games and you will like it even with the lack of new mechanics.

Black Flag is quite possibly the closest to a real sandbox we have seen in this saga by Ubisoft. Even though its main innovations revolve around the sea navigation and naval combat, this new installment still possesses enough good qualities as to give this saga our vote one more year.

Visual Concepts Studio repeats its good work. We have a tight package this year. NBA 2K17 is still the best sports game out there. But it doesn’t surprise, it doesn’t innovate. We have many corrections and the perfect online game. But some people will ask for more.

It may not surprise as much as the first one and almost every aspect is the original ideas enhanced. However, it has been four years already and Dishonored 2 leaves another good impression on us due to its macabre visuals, the stunning visuals of a city much more interesting tan Dunwall and even more creative gameplay possibilities. Corvo and Emily are up to two different journeys, suggesting that Arkane Studios is a team to watch in the future.
