Even with its flaws and a gameplay that could have been better, Broken Age shines thanks to its visuals and a superb dubbing, stating once again the love Tim Schafer and Double Fine implement in their games.

Catherine Full Body is the same or even more recommended than original version: more scenes, more music, new game modes and a character that changes everything. An experience that will not disappoint any type of player.

Final Fantasy XV is going to be the most remembered game of 2016. It is really different from anything we've seen in the series so far, but really traditional at the same time. It has an obsessive respect for the fan that goes along with state-of-the-art audio-visual aspects able to bring life to a humongous map with so many things to do, so many secrets to discover and yes, some lineal, but logic parts. Controversial issues, like combat or summon mechanics are really solid once you get to the endgame, where the experience has already blossomed. Embrace its changes, the JRPG King is back.

Assassin's Creed Origins is, without a doubt, the best entry in the series since Assassin's Creed III. Fixes almost every issue seen in Unity and Syndicate, and fully embraces an open world that feels really good. The combat mechanics, the variety in both main and side quests and the wonderful egipcian atmosphere are its best assets to take your time as hostage. However, the game starts poorly, something that could have changed the way it's seen. I want to personally praise Ubisoft didactic intentions with this entry, that will be remembered as a paradigm of the educational possibilities of a videogame.

Far Cry 5 joins the list of successes that Ubisoft has had since it published Assassin's Creed: Black Flag in 2013. The story mode apart from being entertaining offers a huge number of hours of solo or cooperative play. Far Cry 5 is undoubtedly the best installment of the saga so far.

Puzzles and mystery tag along in a visually stunning adventure without equal among actual indies. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter isn't a game for every player, so those with no interest in this experience will hardly play until the end.

Black Ops 3 is three great games in one. The formula is enhanced to maintain the leadership in FPS. This Call of Duty has a few new ideas to feel surprisingly good, such as the co-op mode or the Specialists. The Campaign wants to provoke but it's too pretentious. The Multiplayer mode proves again that it is the king. And the Zombies mode gets the importance that fans were demanding. But overall, everything in this game is more conservative and cautious than we would expect from the wonderful Treyarch Studios.

A remaster is always welcome when it has something to add. The best of God of War III Remastered has its roots in the quality of the original. This remaster, although it's a great game, won't be especially appealing to those who already played God of War III.

You can hate or love this specific game, as it is one of the few in the Final Fantasy saga that did not fall well in general. We have loved him, even with the imperfections that remastering has. It is almost just a conversion with a better resolution and a somewhat more "current" modeling. Similarly, this should not matter much, because what stands out in this game, and most of the classic Final Fantasy of the 90s, is its history. If you enjoyed this title in its original version, you will love this remastering.

Another JRPG that, unfortunately, doesn't come in Spanish for those in need of it in order to enjoy the game. A characteristic sense of humour makes Disgaea 5 a good game, although it would probably benefit of an update of its visuals.

Watch Dogs is one of the best options in the PS4 catalogue. Taking control all over Chicago with your smartphone is really enjoyable, and even if it doesn't surpass games like Grand Theft Auto V in quality, it offers many hours of gameplay on Sony's new platform.

NBA 2K18 is the king of the sports genre. This entry happens to be an inflection point within the franchise, being the biggest jump when it comes to new mechanics and quality during this generation. The Hood is the biggest of the last years in a game of this characteristics, something that points 2K Sports and Visual Concepts as the vanguard of innovation in this aspect.

Yakuza Kiwami is true remake. Most likely taking advantage of the work made for the latest entries, they took the first game of the franchise, made a visual overhaul and addes enough gameplay mechanics to be far more than just that. Knowing there is a Kiwami 2 in development is also great news, we can't wait to see the Dragon of Kansai in all its glory if the game is on par with Kiwami.

This trip to Kratos's past brings us an adventure that is packed with the better virtues of the God of War franchise. Spectacular visuals, a dynamic experience, a well-delivered online mode and a surprisingly powerful battle system, are the main features of this last installment of the saga. Nonetheless, its Achilles heel is the not so appealing storyline, which makes gameplay and audiovisuals the main assets God of War: Ascension has at its disposal.

Capcom knows how to profit from their former glories. With Darkstalkers Resurrection, we will get two games for the price of one, at a very affordable 14.99€. Its main feature is the GGPO system, which ensures a quality online experience, even giving us the chance to upload our best matches to YouTube. Other than that, there are no more novelties, at least regarding the solo campaign.
