Investigating old stories and cases is fascinating. The cases are complex tangles, where the crime is clear, but finding the right culprit requires precision and reasoning. Unfortunately, the trials sometimes require too much understanding of the game developers' logic than the events of the crime itself, which is frustrating. Nevertheless The Darkest Files offers a fascinating peek into humanity's darkest moments and the aftermath - in the form of a puzzle game.- KonsoliFIN

F1 25 is once again an excellent driving game, but at the same time provides very modest evolution from previous installments. Braking Point storymode is fun but short lived appetite like always. My Team, Career Mode and F1 World can offer nearly endless hours worth of content for hardcore F1 enthusiasts, if their stomachs aren't already full from previous years.- KonsoliFIN

Old Skies is a really solid game from Wadjet Eye Games. It's nothing earth-shattering, but for fans of the genre, this point-and-click adventure offers over ten hours of cleverly designed puzzles and an emotional story.- KonsoliFIN

A few pacing issues and action scenes take the best edge off the overall experience, but Goodnight Universe is still worth experiencing – on PSVR2 if such a rarity is still available – but even as a traditional game it's a pleasant experience.- KonsoliFIN

Overall, Tales of Xillia Remastered is a really enjoyable experience. If you haven't played the Tales of games before but are interested in them, Xillia is a great place to start, as it's story and mechanics are so fluid.- KonsoliFIN

Time Flies is a short but clever game where you guide a fly through a bucket list of life goals before its inevitable death. Blending dark (and crass) humor with thoughtful design, it offers a light yet thought-provoking take on the fleeting nature of life.- KonsoliFIN

Koira, published by Don't Nod, is a minimalist and atmospheric adventure game that follows a girl who befriends an injured dog in a snowy forest while evading relentless hunters. With no dialogue, the storytelling relies on player interpretation and a strong audiovisual presentation, featuring hand-painted grayscale landscapes and a musical puzzle system. The gameplay is simple, with intuitive puzzles and basic controls, making it more of a walking simulator than a traditional narrative-driven experience. While Koira delivers an emotionally resonant and visually striking journey, its short length and straightforward mechanics keep it as a pleasant artistic interlude rather than a groundbreaking title.- KonsoliFIN

Fast Fusion is a fast-paced and visually striking futuristic racing game that offers high-speed tracks, color-based boosts, and a new awesome jump mechanic. Developed by a small team, it offers great value for its low price, though the lack of online play and limited number of tracks slightly hold it back. Luckily future updates will remedy the latter aspect.- KonsoliFIN

It's hard to avoid Skyrim-comparisons when talking about this game, but Awaken Realms still manages to craft their own distinctive dark fantasy world around the familiar bones.- KonsoliFIN

Escape from Ever After is a refreshing surprise in this year’s lineup of games and therefore a strong candidate for my personal Game of the Year list. Its whimsical premise, satirical tone, and overall humorous writing – combined with quirky gameplay mechanics and sufficient variety – carry the experience wonderfully throughout the entire adventure. Best of all, it offers entertainment for all ages: cutesy and fairy-taleish' elements for children, and an engaging script for adults that brings a smile on my face time and time again, enhanced by enjoyable gameplay mechanics. The end credits even left a slight sense of wistfulness in the air, as this is the kind of game one would have gladly kept playing for longer.- KonsoliFIN

Keeper is a visually stunning game from Double Fine that trades traditional gameplay for a surreal, art-like experience. You guide a mysterious lighthouse and its bird companion through a silent world filled with puzzles, pulsing light, and painterly landscapes. While the gameplay remains simple and occasionally dull, the atmosphere and aesthetic elevate Keeper into something more visually enjoyable than playable.- KonsoliFIN

Yakuza Kiwami 3 delivers a polished return to familiar settings, with improved combat and presentation, but it also suffers from pacing issues and content cuts. Dark Ties, meanwhile, struggles to justify its inclusion, offering a filler‑heavy side story that adds little to the overall package. Still, there is plenty of fun to be had, even though some odd decisions dampen the mood.- KonsoliFIN

The Horror at Highrook is a great pastime for fans of Lovecraft's stories and card & board games. The simple and fairly consistent gameplay loop from start to finish may not be the ultimate challenge for players who crave it. However, if you're looking for a relaxing card game in a horror-themed setting, The Horror at Highrook is a great choice for those sleepless summer nights.- KonsoliFIN

Despite its short length, Terminator 2D: NO FATE is an excellent retro shooter that emulates the '90s gameplay so faithfully that it doesn’t really introduce any particularly fresh ideas of its own. However, as a cultural piece of art, Bitmap Bureau’s latest work is such a spot-on achievement that its minor shortcomings hardly detract from the experience at all.- KonsoliFIN

The newest Hyrule Warriors sticks to the tried-and-true Musou formula, blending hack-and-slash chaos with Zelda’s iconic world. While the action is fun and technically solid, the story feels thin and overly familiar, leaving fans wanting more depth despite its canonical promise. I was still thoroughly entertained from start to finish.- KonsoliFIN

The new Moomin adventure offers a warm and gentle journey through a beautifully snow‑covered Moominvalley. Its cozy atmosphere, charming characters and serene winter landscapes create a relaxing experience that captures the spirit of Tove Jansson’s world. Light gameplay and a peaceful tone make it an inviting escape for players looking for a calm, heartwarming adventure. Even though the pacing and the amount of text might need some looking into.- KonsoliFIN

Dune: Awakening is a story of eternal change. In a year, it won't be the same game it is today. At the present, it has plenty of untapped potential and great ideas, none of which work together. One day, that will change, but we can't review potential. In a way, such contradictions are only fitting for this franchise, even if it's a frustrating experience to actually play.- KonsoliFIN

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream brings back Nintendo’s strangest and most unpredictable life simulator after a long break. The game thrives on absurd humor, chaotic social interactions and the sheer joy of watching Miis behave in ways no one asked for. While the lack of online features are a bummer, the core experience remains irresistibly funny and endlessly surprising. If you’re willing to embrace the nonsense, Living the Dream is one of the most entertaining social sandboxes on Switch.- KonsoliFIN

Civilization VII feels like an Early Access title with a premium price tag. Its foundations are solid as ever, and it's still fun to play. But there are fewer reasons than before to jump ship into the latest chapter of the illustrious series, especially as Civ VI is around. Give it a year, and we'll talk again.- KonsoliFIN

R-Type Delta: HD Boosted revitalizes the 1998 PlayStation classic, staying true to the franchise's reputation for grueling difficulty where even the "Kids" setting offers a formidable challenge. As a faithful modernization of the series' first foray into 3D graphics, the game demands precision and memorization from players, punishing mistakes with one-hit deaths and a strict game-over structure that rejects modern hand-holding. Despite its modest audiovisual updates, the gameplay remains deep thanks to three distinct ships and tactical mechanics like the Force unit and the screen-clearing Delta Weapon. Ultimately, it serves as a nostalgic, unforgiving, yet highly rewarding "shmup" experience designed for genre veterans and those willing to endure its trial-and-error nature.- KonsoliFIN
