If The Invincible stands out for its superb artistic direction and its palpable suspense, it is content to be quite good on other levels. But the immersion is such that it could almost create an illusion. The problem is that it doesn't always stand the test of bugs, details and other gameplay limitations. Despite real potential, The Invincible is therefore far from a Firewatch. But if you like science fiction and exotic adventures, you will be able to be charmed by this experience which remains gripping and which is still worth a look.- Jeuxvideo.com

Generous in terms of fan service, equipped with complementary scripted modes and gameplay ideas that blend well with the style of the original work, Rise of New Champions is a good Captain Tsubasa game, but in some ways it forgets to be a good soccer game.- Jeuxvideo.com

It's hard not to be charmed by Naraka Bladepoint. Its refreshing approach to the Battle Royale genre will convince the bravest, while the less patient will probably not have the temerity to go beyond a few hours. When we see the game design choices made by 24 Entertainment, we can only salute the nerve. It is therefore all the more regrettable to face a monetization unworthy of a paid game, present at all levels, and which will ultimately reward relatively little those who decide to really get involved.- Jeuxvideo.com

By stuffing the title with content to justify its unattractive business model, Final Strike Games loses sight of what makes its game salt. It’s nice to chain clashes in Deathmatch, but the rest of the content goes astray and transforms the experience in chaos that is often unreadable and sometimes frustrating. Too bad, because its concept and its mixture of influences hit the target when the stars align.- Jeuxvideo.com

Dawn of Ragnarök outlines a new era for Valhalla. This DLC brings relevant and consistent novelties that really change the gameplay. Add to that an engaging epic narrative, a spellbinding new world, and a healthy dose of Norse mythology, and you have the best expansion Eivor has ever seen. Ubisoft had a nose in betting on the power of Odin and Nordic myths. However, we would have just liked a little more scope to enjoy a mythological epic worthy of Valhalla.- Jeuxvideo.com

Team survival is tough: that’s what Impact Winter teaches the player. Which is fun. But the slow-paced action, added to the lack of dubbing and a badly shaped interface will surely discourage most players.- Jeuxvideo.com

Even if it doesn’t succeed at everything it’s trying, The Sinking City has a lot of personality. The investigation isn’t as free as we were promised it would be, and the fighting are weak. But it’s a strong game with good writing.- Jeuxvideo.com

True to the world of Warhammer 40.000, Space Hulk: Tactics is a cool tactical-RPG but it never surprised us, because of its many very classical mechanics.- Jeuxvideo.com

Despite one, maybe two, well-functioning Horror item(s) and Rose's powers adding a new way to progress, this DLC is only of interest to players who enjoyed the main title. A story with rose water that we would have liked much tastier...- Jeuxvideo.com

White Shadows contains a seductive architecture and a perfectly disturbing atmosphere which owes a lot to its sound design. But the trip is not contemplative enough to overcome the lack of energy from which the level design suffers. The game draws on inspirations already very often exploited without managing to stand out during its journey of only 2.5 hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

Crash Team Rumble is definitely a friendly, fun to play and accessible multiplayer game, no doubt about it. This new formula in the universe of the saga works rather well and we play games with pleasure, before coming face to face with content that is a little too thin to last over time: a single game mode, it's ultimately too little despite the specificities of each card and characters... we would have liked more of them too. So no, Crash Team Rumble is not a failure at all, but we especially hope that it will become denser over future seasons, because its potential is just waiting to be exploited more.- Jeuxvideo.com

From the outset, we cannot welcome the bet launched by The Diofield Chronicle. Carried by divine music and gameplay as ingenious as it is interesting, the Square-Enix game is undeniably generous. Regulars of the genre and lovers of tactical role-playing games risk succumbing to its "retro" charm and its various incantations. Rhythmic, pleasant and more surprising than it seems, The Diofield Chronicle struggles to keep up the pace over time. The objectives are repeated, the free phases do not bring much and the staging lacks the energy to widen its audience. Nevertheless, for those who want to discover something other than the usual blockbusters and who is not hermetic to the genre, here is a work that could become cult in a few years or, at least, find its letters of nobility among enthusiasts.- Jeuxvideo.com

Here is a game that will divide. For some, Miitopia will be this bizarre and vaguely funny RPG, lacking in depth, challenge and diversity. But for others - those who adhere to the Mii universe and the inherent good humor of Nintendo - it will be quite the opposite. Not that the offbeat tone of the title erases its flaws, but we are having such a good time that we are ready to forget them.- Jeuxvideo.com

Prettier than FIFA 18, the new Switch version of FIFA 19 is still lacking most of the features that make the regular FIFA 19 a good football game. It's still enjoyable for what it is: a handheld FIFA.- Jeuxvideo.com

Hoa asserts itself as a nice little independent parenthesis, at the crossroads between the gameplay of Ori and an artistic direction at studio Ghibli. The latter is also a success in every way, whether in terms of sets, chara design or animation. A colorful dreamlike epic galvanized by Johannes Johansson's musical composition. Unfortunately if the visual is inspired and inspiring, it just lacks a dose of challenge and innovation in the gameplay to make the platform unforgettable. Two elements that can only be found in the conclusion of the work, enough to leave regrets.- Jeuxvideo.com

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is riddled with flaws. Not very pretty, not always very precise, a little sparse in content, the dubbing of the original cartoons are absent ... However, the fighting game of Fair Play Labs exudes passion. We don't recommend it to everyone, as NASB is targeting a very specific niche. By mimicking the physics of Super Smash Bros. Melee and implementing one of its advanced techniques, this atypical brawler manages to seduce those nostalgic for the early 2000s. Those will see it as a good way to immerse themselves in the licenses of their childhood while by rediscovering familiar sensations and a solid competitive environment. Hopefully the studio's follow-up will be good, as Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is holding something.- Jeuxvideo.com

Dice Legcay has a surprising concept and offers a tense and pleasant management experience, which during your first steps could put your nerves to the test. However, once the mechanics are assimilated, the progression is done in a fairly natural way, but does not manage to engage the player over time, Dice Legacy struggling to renew itself and contenting itself with offering constrained variants on the same card. , that only the most sensitive to the approach of the game will want to explore from cover to cover. There is nonetheless a game complete in its mechanics, quite original and enjoyable, which would however have gained by seeking more to renew itself.- Jeuxvideo.com

Well attached to its inspirations and classic patterns in terms of narration and game design, Aspire: Ina's Tale offers above all a very beautiful show. The game draws its uniqueness from an absolutely masterful soundtrack and attractive architectures. On the other hand, it sins in its duration, its short story and some levels that are not always well thought out.- Jeuxvideo.com

Transforming a historically linear formula into an open world is not easy, and the Sonic Team is doing it without managing to avoid all the pitfalls that such a change imposes, starting with the repetitiveness of the adventure, a perfectible technique and a camera in difficulty. However, this new Sonic experience blows a breath of fresh air on the saga with its titanic combats, its open-world "platformer" approach and its desire to push its own limits, even if it means losing control.- Jeuxvideo.com

Last Stop gave us an overall pleasant experience by concocting three distinct plots with fair flavors. Precise rhythm, convincing characters, story that keeps us in suspense: there is no doubt that the Variable State studio masters its pen. What a pity that the player's freedom is so compartmentalized by its lack of impact on events and that the technical quality tarnishes the experience. The adventure will however prove to be appreciable for fervent fans of narrative games who are just waiting to discover an entertaining story.- Jeuxvideo.com
