The Lion’s Song Episode 1 has some neat stuff to tell and its dialogs are really well-written. Hopefully it will be able to deliver all it has in the next episodes, this first one being a nice introduction, nothing more.- Jeuxvideo.com

How willing are you to forgive a title's flaws to enjoy its fights? This is the question to ask yourself if you are interested in Ultra Age. On the one hand, the title suffers from dated visuals and a jagged rhythm. On the other hand, his clashes benefit from animations and dynamic effects. By this ambivalence, the title remains to be reserved for fans of beat 'em up able to disregard many aspects to appreciate a rather nice gameplay.- Jeuxvideo.com

Trek to Yomi is a very beautiful cinematographic work. It doesn't have to pale before the giants who inspired it. Its use of the camera and black and white grain allow it to present us with particularly sumptuous paintings. Add to that some eye-popping fight choreography and you've got a little nugget of artistic mastery. If a game was judged by this, Trek to Yomi would undoubtedly top the charts. But unfortunately, the game is, in comparison, too little pushed in terms of gameplay. Its superfluous choices and its repetitive fights prevent it from expressing his full potential. That said, it is still worth the detour and even more so if you are sensitive to this kind of video game work.- Jeuxvideo.com

We would have liked all the charm of the African legends of Tales of Kenzera ZAU to also be found in a level design that was both inspired and inventive! Outstripped by a plethora of competitors, the first software from Surgent Studios lacks the depth and precision to establish itself in the domain of the Gods. However, it does not lack assets: with its low price (20 euros), its dynamism and its enchanting universe, this Metroidvania, less labyrinthine than the others, has interesting arguments to help you spend 8 entertaining hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

Pac-Man might not be your typical platforming protagonist, but he’s earned his chance to shine – and Pac-Man World Re-Pac certainly gives him that opportunity. This remake of a forgotten gem has “wholesome fun” written all over it thanks to its bright and bold art style, its well-designed levels and its wealth of collectibles waiting to be hoovered up. If you’re a 3D platforming fan, make sure this is on your radar.- Jeuxvideo.com

A psychological thriller that successfully mixes cinema, videogames and virtual reality. Transference has a thrilling and sufocating atmosphere. Unfortunately, even if it's a narrative success, the game lacks freedom and feels too short.- Jeuxvideo.com

By wanting to compete with Genshin Impact, Kuro Games took everything that made the HoYoverse title successful... sometimes even too much. Whether in its structure, its content and even its interface, everything is reminiscent of the king of gacha. However, it tries to stand out on certain points such as its more advanced action gameplay than its rivals, but also its elegant artistic direction which could turn some people over. Unfortunately, it's difficult to enjoy the experience properly because of this failed French translation. In summary, Wuthering Waves has some arguments to convince those disappointed with Genshin Impact, but it remains to be seen whether it will succeed in demonstrating a follow-up as exemplary as that of HoYoverse productions.- Jeuxvideo.com

Capcom's old demons are back and are giving us a weak and technically outdated port of a 2012 port, which at the time already featured three PlayStation 2 games.- Jeuxvideo.com

Even if we feel that the Moonscars formula is not at its full potential, the Black Mermaid studio delivers here a solid and often quite ingenious action-RPG. Between mixing genres with a touch of rogue-lite; two-speed difficulty; good sensations in combat and beautiful artistic direction, there is really something going on, controller in hand. It is finally two or three inaccuracies, in terms of balancing and finishing, which pull Moonscars down. Regardless, it's always a pleasure to restart a game. A good pickaxe for fans of demanding action games.- Jeuxvideo.com

Well paced and written, served with a nice DA and soundtrack, the title forms a coherent whole which never does too much. To regret, however, some unnecessary back and forth and designs that sometimes lack personality, and also technical problems on Switch. But if you want to have a nice adventure with platform and challenge, that's all good.- Jeuxvideo.com

More than a basic remastered, ZoE: The 2nd runner : M∀RS tries to bring VR to the original game released 15 years ago. Unfortunately, this part isn't well executed. Still, ZoE remains great to play, and the 4K support with HD textures is a plus.- Jeuxvideo.com

Hoa asserts itself as a nice little independent parenthesis, at the crossroads between the gameplay of Ori and an artistic direction at studio Ghibli. The latter is also a success in every way, whether in terms of sets, chara design or animation. A colorful dreamlike epic galvanized by Johannes Johansson's musical composition. Unfortunately if the visual is inspired and inspiring, it just lacks a dose of challenge and innovation in the gameplay to make the platform unforgettable. Two elements that can only be found in the conclusion of the work, enough to leave regrets.- Jeuxvideo.com

Breathedge ultimately remains fairly classic in its survival mechanics and does not succeed in everything it undertakes in this area. It turns out to be rather repetitive and unfortunately quite timid in its call for exploration, a shame, given the beauty and originality of its yet attractive universe. In addition, the game also sins with some unfortunate choices regarding inventory management, the resource collection loop or the durability of equipment, too ephemeral. With a shift in tone at the midpoint, which relegates survival to the closet, the Breathedge experience is not always balanced, despite some real good ideas and a story that follows without displeasure, for a little one. about twenty hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Bloober Team delivers a psychological and supernatural thriller with multiple controlled influences, and a story that is both dark and touching. The Medium is an artistic work in its own right, both visual and musical, whose universe deserves to be explored. The Polish studio also manage to take advantage of this playful duality between the physical and spiritual planes without necessarily innovating too much during a linear adventure. The threat weighing on Marianne, as intense as it may be at times, loses too often in intensity to permanently mark the players. The Medium is ultimately an “arty” horrific experience like the developers' previous productions.- Jeuxvideo.com

We weren't expecting it, and maybe it's a big spark that lights up in the world of motorcycle simulations. A visual tribute to Mœbius, Sable seduces first of all with its captivating features and colors. He is also granted an exploration rich in great freedom and some gripping mysteries. But the sawtooth technique is terribly lacking on the trip. And the universe lacks a certain consistency, struggling to engage us completely during its long stroll.- Jeuxvideo.com

Those who had tasted the previous remake will be delighted to learn that Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed corrects many shots: the experience is based on a funnier and denser narration, on a rich gameplay and an overall feeling more fluid, more modern. This is obviously due to the original game which, at the time in 2006, had been able to rise a level but the redesign work is also appreciable: the graphic aspect sometimes delivers some nice surprises, despite bugs and problems techniques to highlight. We had a frankly pleasant time and in its finality, this second adventure testifies to a very good mood to be devoured without moderation.- Jeuxvideo.com
