Are Sparkling Diamond and Sparkling Pearl good remakes? The answer to this question depends on your affinity with the artistic direction of Chibi, as well as your expectations in terms of loyalty or, on the contrary, novelties. Here the cursor clearly leans towards fidelity, which seems to reserve the two games for a nostalgic audience. Newcomers might indeed be put off by some gameplay elements that have aged rather badly. Neither shameful nor indispensable, Sparkling and Perle Scintillante clearly fall into the category of remakes which "do the job" but do not go beyond.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners could have been a good VR survival game, but its shortcomings are too numerous to really appeal to anybody but the most hardcore of fans.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is far from perfect mainly due to the sheer number of characters, which is really too much to get the player involved in the story. The other main problem is the back and forth travels you have to go through between missions, those really kill the rhythm. The game is a quite good port from PSP to PS4 and has the merit of demoing what Final Fantasy XV will be.

The Amazing Spider-Man clearly has many qualities such as dynamic fighting sequences and nervous animations that visually transcribe perfectly the way Spider-Man moves. Moreover, its sandbow world will occupy the players for hours with a lot of sidequests to do. And yet, its cheap graphics, its boring scenario and old-school animations, prevent us from saying that The Amazing-Man is one of a kind.

Available with an attractive price, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will please lovers of this kind of game. This extension still offers a variety of new stuff which is primarily about the content. For the gameplay or graphics rendering, no change was found. What has been the strength and vitality of the game was preserved, but not only, because AI defects are once again present. Rather annoying for a game already released a year earlier. Finally, fans who have Dragon's Dogma, 2012 version, can still feel a little aggrieved because pay € 30 for this extension is a bit excessive. The output of a PSN shift have covered some interest.

We believed in Lost Planet 3. Capcom wanted to come back to the origins of the series, focusing on solo mode and had some good arguments to get us absorbed again by the planet EDN-III's atmosphere. Everything is here: a nice character, efficient gameplay, and interesting content. But nothing really makes Lost Planet 3 a really big game. Graphics aren't that impressive, really commonplace and the game lacks of rhythm and epic moments. Nowhere near the first episode.

Never Alone offers a very nice story and a superb artistic touch that should please the indie allergic gamers. The only real drawback is that you need to play this game co-op in order to get the most of it, as the solo might be quite tedious sometimes.

Quite straightforward, Rare Replay is a very good bundle of all those games that brought RareWare to fame. A must buy if you've never experienced those, more of an impulse buy if you already own many of the games it contains.

WWE 2K15 has still a long way to go to get to NBA 2K15's level, but we can only thank 2K for taking much better care of their wrestling IP than THQ did back in time. Sadly the character roster has shrunk since last year's opus.

Rocket Arena is a worthy hero shooter with an all rocket approach that's pretty fun, but it still lacks a campaign, the PvE mode is dull and it feels like you're playing in a funpark. Worst of all is the feel that you pay for what feels like a free-to-play.

A bit better than ADR1FT but less than Firewatch, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is a very good observation game that boasts impressive graphics, a great soundtrack and a nice story. The only drawback is the sluggish pace at which the player can move.

ECHO is a pretty special game that tries to go on a new field for infiltration games. If the gameplay is very good, the narrative and the lack of save points are a let down.

Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater isn’t the bold reimagining some fans might have hoped for. Instead, it’s a visually stunning update that preserves the 2004 classic almost to the letter : story, voice acting, cinematics, and gameplay included, with all their dated quirks. Unreal Engine 5 delivers impressive character models, environments, and lighting, but the clunky mechanics, outdated AI, and stiff animations remind you of the game’s age. For newcomers, it’s still a fantastic gateway into Snake’s world of stealth and espionage. For veterans, it’s a nostalgic return, faithful, polished, but not revolutionary.

Fifteen years after its initial release on GameCube, Luigi's Mansion comes to the 3DS with a few new features, but those can't make up for the fact that the game is too short, and offers no interest for players who have already played it. On the other hand, if you haven't played it yet, this is the version to go for.

Some games gather the players together. Some divide them. Obviously, ZombiU belongs to second category. On the one hand, Ubisoft did very well to use the Wii U Gamepad and asymmetric gameplay brings something new to the multiplayer experience. But, on the other hand, ZombiU isn't visually impressive and some players won't appreciate the difficulty level that sometimes has been pushed too high.

While God Eater 3 offers a worthy alternative to Monster Hunter thanks to the epic hunting, and a more forgiving gameplay, players will have to do with a dated technical side of things inherited from the times when the IP was exclusive to handheld machines.

The best of Yakuza Zero is actually not the part you're playing, but the part you're watching. It can seem harsh, but that's a feeling you can't deny as the former is far from being as good as the latter. It's still a great storyline though and the game developers have the talent to make it alive.

Robinson: The Journey should have been Crytek's VR Jurassic Park. If the world is amazing and the game offers a decent experience with about 7-8h of gameplay, the lack of dinosaurs and interactions spoils the fun. This clearly calls for a second opus.

Often mocked for its games with recycled gameplay, Ubisoft offers us something original with Roller Champions. The rules of this fictional sport hold up perfectly, and so do the execution, gameplay, and accessibility. So we're having a really good time online. On the other hand, the content is weak for the moment, it is its main fault.

With Skylanders Giants and the introduction of big figurines, we were clearly waiting for major changes in terms of gameplay. However, the new title of the successful IP only appears to be a small update to the previous episode. And yet, the adventure remains complete and mostly pleasant thanks to a colorful production that will occupy our children for hours, either in the game or in their schoolyard.

All the trailers predicted a great Souls-like, lifted by its revolutionary, fantastic, historical and original universe. But Steelrising just misses the point. Some more or less annoying bugs, the incomprehensible absence of French voices (it's a french game), and the fact of leaving after Elden Ring harm a game that deserved to be a little more polished and ambitious.
