Dragon Quest 7 is a sixteen-year-old game, and you can feel it every time you play it. Those who love the J-RPG genre will find a beautiful adventure, that will hold them more than a hundred of hours, with an addictive job system. The others will probably find it too long, too slow, too cute. Too old, to make it short.

Mario has become so important for Nintendo that there's not a year without the famous plumber coming to a game console owned by Big N. If we were happy to see the hero coming back, we quickly realized New Super Mario Bros 2 only takes the successful mechanisms of the previous title without the originality. Especially when chasing gold coins is not really fascinating.

TrackMania 2: Lagoon is a good game overall but if feels awfully similar to any other TrackMania game out there and specially the Turbo opus. On the other hand, if you missed that 2016 episode and have Canyon Stadium and Valley, Lagoon is a must have.

Without revolutionizing the shooter-looter genre in any way, Outriders does things efficiently and offers frenetic non-stop action that goes frankly well with co-op play. Too bad the game is repetitive and subject to technical instability, which spoils the game experience.

Despite the fact that Capcom Digital Collection gathers titles that are not necessarily close to perfection, being able to play HD versions of Super Street Fighter II, Final Fight or Flock are make spending some money on this compilation of famous arcade games worth it.

It's a real pleasure to meet again with George Stobbart et Nico, above all when it's in a 2D game, which cleverly comes back to the origins. But let's face the truth : Broken Sword 5 is a very nice point'n click, but it's still not perfect. Puzzles are too easy and the game is technically old fashioned.

Yet another port with New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe which is a straight port from the Wii u to the Switch with a resolution going from 720p to 1080p and a bit more content like the Luigi spin off and the addition of Peachette and Nabbit. As usual with re-releases, check it if you haven't yet.

Absolver is a very specific game with it's own stengths and weaknesses. The universe and the gameplay are truly awesome but its lacks some accessibility and some tutorial on how to use such a complex system.

The PlayRoom VR is the proof that VR can be a family thing, and not something dedicated for solo nerdy people. If the content seems light don't forget that the game is ready, and an excellent way to introduce VR to newcomers and family alike.

For the first time ever, the Silent Hill franchise has been developed by a western studio and since Silent Hill 3, this is probably the most attractive episode that we recommand you to play as soon as you can.

Crysis 3 follows the path of its predecessor. Visually stunning on consoles and absolutely gorgeous on powerful PCs, Crysis 3 is a true landmark. But despite its sexy outline, this FPS runs out of innovative gameplay and a proper scenario. To sum up, Crysis 3 is a beautiful hollow thing.

Magrunner: Dark Pulse may be a modest game, but it's a nice game nevertheless. In spite of a story which doesn't really matter and a "Chtulhu touch" underused, Magrunner does well with his gameplay and it's enough to give us some good moments. And forgive the weakness of the last part of the game.

Captain Tsubasaa: Rise of New Champions is pure fan-service and offers a great adaptation of the original material. On the other hand, its shortcomings are numerous, and if you hope to find here a good soccer game, you might be better off looking elsewhere.

Ancestors is the basis of what could be a very good survival game once it's been patched, or for a second opus. It's hard to learn, very repetitive, but once you got the first few hours in, it starts to reveal its potential.

Gears of War Judgment looks like a transition episode and something bigger is probably waiting for us on Xbox 720. In the meantime, we'll have to deal with a disappointing campaign which only allows us to destroy waves of Locusts without being entertaining. Gameplay is still very accurate but some better things have been made elsewhere since the first Gears of War, and Judgment seems to be the game too far.

Heave-Ho is a very good party game that's most enjoyed with 3 or 4 players, and which offers a lot of fun. The downside is that the fun goes down with the number of players, being quite boring when you're alone.

Ride 3 feels like Gran Turismo with bikes, especially with the updated graphics and physics thanks to the Unreal Engine 4. We only regret that the AI is one of the worse we've ever seen, and that Milestone already offers 3 DLC packs on launch day.

Anthem feels a bit award as a Bioware studio game because the narrative is clearly something that wasn't given priority, to the benefit of combat and exploration. The game still needs more content to live up to the promise made by a publisher as big as EA.

With better polish and an add genius touch, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified could have been a great game. But for now, it's old technique, it's bugs and numerous incoherencies don't let this game into the hall of fame of videogames. Happily, the worthy gameplay, the 60's ambiance and the XCOM universe are here to salvage the game. The mix between action and strategy works well, and the choice in dialogues brings a cool RPG touch. In the end we go through missions with quite an enjoyment in spite of all this, and we don't leave the bureau that easily.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars has much to offer, mainly with it's great quality figure, but also on the software side of things. Well rounded, the game suffers from an excessive difficulty as it's intended for children, but adult supervision is highly recommended.

We were convinced by the proposition of this Silent Hill The Short Message, which takes up the concept of the P.T. by integrating it into a modern story, a mirror of our society. Everything is not perfect, far from it and we would have liked to have more gameplay mechanics, puzzles, some more concrete moments of freak out, but as a party game, it does the job well. And let's not forget that it's free.

UEFA Euro 2012 is an excellent soccer game, especially for players that already bought FIFA 12, giving them the chance to spend only twenty dollars to get it. For the others, the need to buy FIFA 12 to enjoy it, will make the argument more difficult to make. The few imperfections are not easy to forget, considering the fact this kind of players have to pay a lot more to play UEFA Euro 2012. Still, it remains a good game as a FIFA 12 in disguise.

With Sorcery, the PS Move comes back to life, offering a diversified gameplay. Despite some minor problems, the title remains entertaining thanks to the great use of the PS Move controller and a thrilling adventure. Sorcery is not the best game of 2012 on PS3 for sure, but from now on, players have good reasons to get the PS Move out of the drawer.
