This Capcom Beat'em Up Bundle mixes great games whose gameplay is still unmatched these days, but it also lacks numerous mandatory options like graphical options, and a bigger gallery. Overall it's a nice trip down memory lane.- JeuxActu

Twenty-six years after its initial release, L’Amerzone returns in a modernized, ambitious, and respectful version of Benoît Sokal’s original work. Microids Studio Paris delivers a remake that, despite technical limitations and dated gameplay, manages to preserve the soul of the original game. This 2025 version is primarily aimed at nostalgic players and fans of contemplative adventure, but it may leave those seeking modernity or a faster pace feeling unmoved. The respect for the source material, the quality of the art direction, and the unique atmosphere of the world make The Explorer’s Testament a valuable, almost museum-like offering—one whose strength lies in its fidelity and melancholic tone. It’s unfortunate, however, that the gameplay didn’t receive a proper overhaul to match the visual ambitions, and that the illusion of freedom promised by the trailers is shattered within the game’s opening moments. Still, L’Amerzone remains a beautiful journey to experience—provided you’re willing to slow down, observe, and immerse yourself.- JeuxActu

Dark Souls 2 won't change anything: if you liked the experience FromSoftware offered in the former episodes, then you will like it again. But if not, you won't start liking now. The great atmosphere, the feeling of loneliness, the intriguing soundtrack and the difficulty still make the quality of this game. But Dark Souls 2 begins to fall behind from the technical point of view, and it's far too demanding for such old-school gameplay.- JeuxActu

Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered offers nothing really outlandish besides slightly updated graphics, and 4K for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X owners. As always, if you haven't played it go for that version, otherwise, don't bother.- JeuxActu

The players who never finished or even tried Dream Drop Distance on Nintendo 3DS will find this Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue very enjoyable. The others could be disappointed and will struggle to justify the pricetag.- JeuxActu

Silt is fun to play and features a very attractive monochrome art direction, as well as a deliciously dark atmosphere. Everything would be perfect if Journey, Limbo, Inside, Abzû or Little Nightmares hadn't already been there. The title of Spiral Circus was certainly made with passion, but it does not manage to stand out enough from its models.- JeuxActu

Octodad: Dadliest Catch may not be a triple A game, but Young Horses have been smart enough to make it catchy, with a particularly endearing hero. Unfortunately, Octodad suffers from an imprecise gameplay, a sometimes crazy camera and approximative collisions. It remains a good experience, maybe too expensive though.- JeuxActu

The ABC Murders is a promising start for this new IP based on Agatha Christie's books, but the devs need a bit more work before it can compete with other investigation masters like the Sherlock Holmes series.- JeuxActu

Sea of Solitude is a nice atmospheric game that sucks the player into a very special universe with very good OST and art style. On the other hand, the level design is boring and some sequences are pretty boring.- JeuxActu

Thief is no treason, but it's not a brilliant reboot either. It's an honest game, without a doubt, but it never becomes awesome. Surprisingly, we've been more interested in the side missions than the main story, which lacks intensity. With more charismatic characters, more freedom, and a better artistic direction, Thief could have been significantly better.- JeuxActu

DiRT 5 looks good, but feels way too dull to really trigger our love of arcade racing, specially with a lousy AI and multiplayer races that all end up in a demolition derby round. At least, Playground mode saves the day and brings a welcome dose of pure fun into the mix.- JeuxActu

Marvel's Iron Man VR is a VR game that will appeal a lot to fans of the IP, and while some of it is nice, there are lots of shortcomings chief among which are the poor story and the very long loading times.- JeuxActu

Outcast: Second Contact is a very good remaster as the core of the game remains unchanged while it's looks have been completely overhauled to fit modern hardware and players. A very good way to bring the nostalgia vibe for the seasoned players, and to make younger players discover this adventure.- JeuxActu

Too close and clearly not on par with games like Pokemon or Yo-Kai Watch, Monster Hunter Stories is clearly an attempt to seduce kids into the IP. For the seasoned player, the game will feel easy, repetitive and too generic.- JeuxActu

Pokémon Art Academy is a good mix between Pokémon and New Art Academy, which tended to propose maybe too classical drawings. Here, you really enjoy trying to create something good with some precise instructions and hundreds of creatures to draw. But once you're out of the Lessons Mode and free to draw what you want, the difficulty raises inevitably, so you'll need several hours of training to produce something nice. Hopefully you have a 3DS XL available.- JeuxActu

Rock Band 4 is not exactly Rock Band 2 for PS4 and Xbox One, but it's not that far off either. Harmonix sacrifices new ideas on the altar of compatibility; you can use former instruments, you can play all the tracks you already had, and all this is pretty good. But Rock Band 4 could have done with some graphics improvements and a few more new features.- JeuxActu

Samurai Warriors 4 takes a little advantage of its port on PS4. It's still kind of old-school, but the game is at last better on a technical point of view. We're still waiting for the episode that will rebuilt from ground zero.- JeuxActu

In spite of a very short life, Sakura Swim Club is a very good gate into the world of Japanese visual novel. A perfect way to try this genre, and a good fapping material if you install the Hentaï patch that makes this game definitely NSFW.- JeuxActu

DriveClub VR is currently the only one to offer such an experience in virtual reality. And that saves it from being a total fail. But the feeling of speed and immersion are both damaged by poor graphics and low ambition.- JeuxActu

The Chant will not be one of the games to remember in 2022, because of its dated graphics and snoring gameplay. Situations sometimes don't make sense, with weak attacks having more impact than heavy hits. Overall, the combat system lacks dynamism and subtlety. On the other hand, the atmosphere is captivating, but that's not enough to make it a good game.- JeuxActu

Taking elements from the first two titles of the IP, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD returns to basics especially regarding its gameplay and the music used to entertain our ears. Even if the game is developed for those who are nostalgic for the PSOne era, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD has nothing revolutionnary to offer.- JeuxActu

If Project Zero 2 remains identical to the version released in 2005 on PS3 regarding its hair-raising universe and its original gameplay, the Wii title won't give the IP a new lease of life. Graphically the same, Project Zero 2: Wii Edition also suffers from bad game controls, the Wiimote clearly better for party-games. It's really infortunate when you know that horror titles are not many on Wii.- JeuxActu

Ride was off on the good foot to be the bike's Gran Turismo with its generous roaster of over 100 bikes and a lighter roaster of 15 tracks. But with all the official licensing and the aftermarket parts, the salvation was in sight, until Milestone's incompetent devs ruining of the final product with major bugs blossoming all over it, including corrupted save files and game instability.- JeuxActu

While being sub-par overall, We Happy Few is still a nice save when you think that Compulsion changed its game from a survival title to narrative-driven adventure in just two years. If you had big expectations, don't bother. If you like the artistic side of things and the concept, give it a shot.- JeuxActu

FIFA 13 Wii U is not really FIFA 13. When you think twice, this episode is closer to FIFA 12 which is not a pleasant idea to convey for the future of Nintendo's new console. Many features have simply disappeared and the gameplay options proposed by the use of GamePad are not so groundbreaking.- JeuxActu

No need to debate further, this Asterix & Obelix Baffez les Tous 2 does not keep its promises. The marketing announced to us a “bigger better stronger” sequel when it is the opposite that we are receiving, namely the first episode much worse. Not only has the element of surprise disappeared, but nothing has changed or evolved. We therefore have the impression of playing the same game as in 2021 with many elements that have been removed.- JeuxActu
