Death Stranding lives up to its towering expectations, if it does not exceed them. That does not automatically mean that the game is perfect. For example, the story and the actual gameplay are very unrelated, and the game has a rough edge. And yet Death Stranding is extraordinary. The complex and layered story, the serious gameplay full of comic notes, the deserted and oppressive world and the subtle connection with other players create extreme contrasts and a range of emotions.- InsideGamer.nl

99 percent of videogames are built on video game conventions we all know well. Everybody's Gone To The Rapture steps outside of the bubble and not only shows that that is possible, but also does it in an excellent way. This title offers gameplay elements that are truly worth exploring. It is more than just unique, it is brilliant and personal.- InsideGamer.nl

Editing the GTA formula has been done with love and care. Playing with no less than three main characters works well in every thinkable way, and after finishing the compelling and sharply written story, there’s enough to do in the wide world of Los Santos and environment. GTA 5 simply offers an ambitious, successful experience of a rare quality level.- InsideGamer.nl

Red Dead Redemption perfectly captures the essence of the old West, in a way Rockstar Games does best. GTA IV delivers on the PC, as it did on the next-gen consoles. The game breathes quality from start to finish. The story remains interesting and entertaining, visually it’s a new milestone in the series, and the gameplay just as good as it was on the console. The added video-editor and extended multiplayer-modes make for an even more complete experience, which no PC-gamer should be allowed to miss.- InsideGamer.nl

Two and a half hours Left Behind has you laughing, get scared, angry and possibly even cry. After years of carefully sculpting and expanding, EA finally managed to take the last hurdles. The goalie and the referee are near perfection and the AI has been much improved. This results in an incredibly realistic and dynamic game. Sometimes the pace is a little bit too fast, but with all the improvements that's easy to forgive. We get why Messi is on the cover this year; only the world's best footballer of the world's best team is worthy of the world's best football game.- InsideGamer.nl

With the music of Hans Zimmer and the cinematic scenes, you're sucked into the game and spit out after you’re done. The single player is rather short. It will take you about six hours to beat the game, but you get an intense and memorable ride the entire time. The game seems to be a little scripted, but it isn’t annoying for everyone. The multiplayer isn’t annoying at all. You can play for hundreds of hours without being bored. The Spec Ops mode extends that with fun for two. If you ever played a shooter and liked it, buy this game!- InsideGamer.nl

The Last of Us Remastered honors its own name. It runs more smoothly, is prettier and has more content. The technical improvements and the Photo Mode make sure that The Last of Us comes into its own even more, while Left Behind on PlayStation 3 already proved that downloadable content can be of value. The small imperfections are still here and it’s unfortunate that the PlayStation 4 isn’t pushed to the limit. Despite all this, Remastered is the best version of an already incredible game.- InsideGamer.nl

This is the best game you can play on Xbox One. The game might hold your hand a bit too long, that is just a minor thing considering the great racing adventure Forza offers.- InsideGamer.nl

BioShock 2 feels like coming home after a long holiday. The game has a lot of elements which we saw in the first game, but also some nice improvements. Rapture is still a very nice place to explore and we love the fact that you can use guns and plasmids at the same time.- InsideGamer.nl

Super Mario 3D World is filled with dynamic, creative and varied levels that we've gotten used to with the Galaxy-games. The result is a fantastic platformer, that not only plays like a dream, but also is a pleasure to simply observe.- InsideGamer.nl

There is so much to tell about Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story, but words can’t come close to what is so special about this pearl of a RPG. The only thing not so great about this game are the long fights, but that is compensated by the funny dialogs and the action packed fighting system. It’s a good choice to give Bowser a place in the spotlights, because steeling the show seem to fit him very well. It is the comeback of 2009!- InsideGamer.nl

This game offers a huge and memorable experience including one hundred challenging puzzles and discussions with computer terminals that have a taste for philosophy. This game will make you think about your own free will, which makes it a bit pitiful that the duration of The Talos Principle is so short.- InsideGamer.nl

Despite the length of the adventure, Mirror’s Edge offers an experience you will not forget any time soon. Every time you put away the controller and turn off the console, you’re left wanting more. Everything, from the bright visuals to the fast-paced action, justifies the high score.- InsideGamer.nl

Far Cry 3 is the best and most enthralling open world shooter in the last couple of years. It beautifully displays the contrast of an island like Rook Island: at beautiful and peaceful moments, at brutal and intense moments. Despite some technical mishaps, the game manages to entertain throughout.- InsideGamer.nl

The smartest puzzle game ever continues with Round 2, which is even better than the first. There is a great amount of content and there is a new depth to the puzzles thanks to adding two colors. Puzzle games do not get any better than this.- InsideGamer.nl
