One great game that may be too easy for Madden experts and that doesn't have enough game modes.

Velocity 2X is a clear example of the positioning that the Switch catalog is taking. Providing the console with the company's flagships and, in addition, with such a wide range of genres and renowned titles of the last five years, makes it impossible to say no. Velocity 2X comes 4 years later to a format inherited from PlayStation Vita so we are facing a conservative bet that has been translated into a very correct game for the format offered by Nintendo Switch and respecting the original version.

Still a fun sandbox that gets even bigger with new modes and possibilities while also fixes some of the mistakes made on the original DR 4... Unfortunately there's still a lot of bugs and mistakes that remain untouched one year later.

A nice conversion that retains the best features of the original PC version while adding new content, and without being too technically downgraded.

The Spanish studio Mighty Polygon has given us a pleasant surprise with its puzzle game. Despite having a very small number of developers, they have achieved a game that can compete from one to the other with other greats of the genre such as The Turing Test or QUBE 2.

Despite its length, Marvel's Spider-man: Miles Morales is a great launch game for PS5 and a perfect example of the potential of the machine in the hands of the members of PlayStation Studios.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 changes a bit the original LEGO Games' formula with more action than we used to play, but even with that this games accomplishes almost all its goals. Fun, long and a great homage to Marvel's comic book era.

A good racing games that doesn't take any kind of risks but still it's one of the best F1 emulation ever (but not the best racing sim).

Hand of Fate offers a fresh, absorbing experience with a great fusion of genres and concepts. While its difficulty and fight system prevent it from achieving excellence, this is an intriguing new game made by a promising new team.

Madden 17's virtues outweigh its flaws. Its gameplay, and its perfect technical side prevail over the lack of play modes and the disappearance of certain classic options.

Football Manager 2018 will not be remembered as a milestone in the franchise, but it is a game with significant improvements (like the dynamics system or the medical center) that will please die hard fans.

PAKO 2 is a fun revival of those car chases from the early GTA years. It is sassy and goes straight to providing simple fun to the player. A little gem to end the year with a bang.

A nice try by Ubisoft, but it lacks enough variety in its gameplay to retain players for long enough... Plus its narrative isn't as deep as we would have liked.

A great and fun game that fails to provide enough progression on its mechanic. Nonetheless, you'll find a game that is as big as easy to play and beautifully crafted, which is faithful to the universe created by George Miller.

A great port of a good game. It's a shame that the studio hasn't fixed some of the game's original problems like the long loading times. Even with that, an excellent horror game, that now includes it's DLCs, making it last longer.

Blades of Fire gives us a fascinating approach to action adventure, using ingredients from Action RPG and souls like within a huge world, to give a mixture with a unique flavor. Its spectacular and addictive battle system, combined with the enormous possibilities of the forging system, make Blades of Fire one of Mercury Steam's best works to date, despite its rough edges.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is the culmination of Ubisoft's open world formula. A beautiful Japan that will suck you in, filled with details and things to do. Shadows has shortcomings, but they are blurred in a world where you can dive in for hundreds of hours.
