There probably is something beautiful in this windwaker/animal crossing-esque free to play title, but it’s way to buried under its freemium business model and repetitive activities.

Exploration, survival, crafting, puzzles. In The Solus Project, none of these elements touches heights of excellence, but otherwise the game is not bad at all.

There are three more hours of the usual Arkham series gameplay in this cold, cold piece of DLC, and this should be enough to decide if it's worth buying or not.

Enjoyable but a little shallow. The younger audience will surely have fun with the Kinect minigames, but the fan of the series will miss some of the depth of the previous episodes.

Six years later, Wii Sports finally goes online. It hasn't got everything you would expect from a 2014 online experience, but it's the usual good game for every kind of audience.

Under it's less than spectacular aesthetics, Growing Pains hides a very interesting and challenging experience.

There are no reason for that 'Simulator' word in the title, given the fact that controls are clumsy on purpose in order to create the greatest possible mess (inside and outside your patient), but nevertheless this is a game that makes you laugh, and it's not a thing to be underestimated.

Boulder Jack is a fun enough endless runner, definitely not the best of the pack but good enough to worth the download and give you some cool runs.

Destiny 2: Lightfall is an expansion with two opposing aspects, that can be seen as the mirror image of the previous The Witch Queen. Weak in narrative content, it shows its best in perfecting the gaming experience, understood as that set of tools to fully enjoy the potential of our guardians. The hope now is that Bungie will put an extra effort into delivering Seasons full of content and capable of keeping the attention high towards the end of a saga a bit… paracausal.

Overland is a good roguelike turn-based strategy, despite some defects and deficiencies it can satisfy those looking for a challenging and potentially endless game.

After all the problems, changes and delays in recent years, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified could have been much (much) worse. The result however is decent for the most parts mostly thanks to the intriguing and tactical combat system.

The Cruel King and The Great Hero could have been the right evolution of its predecessor, but for every step forward there's one back. It remains, however, a nice fairy tail to play with the youngest.

Hot Garbage is a DLC pack that adds a new, self-contained area and a few upgrades to the original gameplay formula. Despite that, its story can be completed in a couple of hours and the number of new activities is too small for its price tag.

This is probably not the best videogame based on Adventure Time franchise, but it’s nevertheless a fun one, that (at least) try to bring some fresh ideas in the infinite runner genre.

The comparison with College Football 25 could have been merciless for Madden NFL 25, but EA Orlando came out pretty well. To play it is arguably the best post-pandemic episode. Bringing it up to the level of the college football title requires fewer bugs, new ideas and a willingness to twist a winning formula.

G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra is a decent fighting game reminiscent of the classic arcades of the 90s, just without all of the evolution displayed by its modern rivals.

Once again Pro Cycling Manager struggles to make any real improvements. Despite a relatively solid release, the old bugs remain and the new improvements only justify the purchase for those who have been missing the game for a few years or have never played. Too bad, because the good simulation depth would have deserved more love.

On consoles, Aven Colony, with its simplicity and colorful graphics, could be a good introduction to the genre. On PC, a much stronger tradition of city builders highlights some annoying flaws.

Some games age better than others, and this is the case of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit: this new version shows an Autolog that still works and the fun in the pursuits is still there. There is some visual glitch, but overall, this remaster is perfect for anybody who never tried one of the best game in the series.

Atlas Fallen is a decent action-RPG that, with all its merits and flaws, attempts to emulate God of War with a fun and dynamic combat system. Unfortunately, in addition to the challenging confrontations with the imposing desert creatures Deck13 Interactive's game does not have much to offer from a quality standpoint. An unsteady frame-rate, along with some problems related to enemy lock-on, prevent the developers from taking the next step after the good results achieved with the two chapters of The Surge.

Mirror of Fate is not your typical handheld Castlevania adventure: with a more predictable map exploration and a weapon and magic variety reduced to its lowest terms, it sets itself as a portable version of the Lords of Shadow saga. Mercury Steam has put some distance between what Konami and Igarashi achieved in the past ten+ years: this is a somewhat good action/fighting game, but a less-then-stellar Castlevania experience, plagued by a questionable frame rate.
