Steel Diver: Sub Wars is an interesting underwater FPS, and it also proposes an intelligent use of free to play mechanics.

Meet Your Maker is an interesting mix between FPS and tower defense, quite satisfying to play when you have to face outposts full of traps and when creating an impregnable fortress. But if the gameplay can be considered a strength point, the few contents available at launch and the various unpolished aspects limit the potential of Behavior Interactive's new multiplayer experience.

Challenging enough, Pop-Up Pilgrims is a pleasant puzzle-platform with Lemmings in its DNA and a discretely exploited VR.

Earth Defense Force 5 takes a small but significant step forward in terms of progression and multyplayer, masterfully combining furious action with grotesque scenery. The result, despite the graphic backwardness, proudly manages to keep up, giving us great old-school action.

How To Survive 2 is an enjoyable experience in its mix of genres and aspirations, but if you're not used to co-op experiences do not expect great emotions.

Sword and Shield are not the best entries in the series but, despite some hard-to-ignore faults, they're still fun to play.

A good adventure game that faithfully recaptures the spirit of its predecessor while also welcoming new players with a few accessibility options and a storyline that can be appreciated even by those unfamiliar with Beneath a Steel Sky.

God of War debuts on PS4 with a technically well done remastered edition... that lacks everything else. It's just one game, without any meaningful bonus content and a tag price a bit on the high end.

The Foundation is a (too) linear and fun end game mission for Control. The setting is very weird and fascinating and it's really amazing to unleash the full Jessy potential. On the other hand, the new power, Shape, is less creative and game changing than it should have been, and the result is that the exploration and gameplay feels a little bit railroaded.

Trover Saves the Universe is perhaps the most fun, foul-mouthed and irreverent game you can enjoy in VR, but the gameplay is not always as good as writing.

MXGP is a satisfactory compromise between arcade and plausibility. A very good motocross game that relies entirely on the handling. Ride it in a trance, a jump after another, searching for the best lap time.

For a not exactly popular price, Persona Dancing: Endless Night Collection offers a significant level of entertainment for lovers of the genre and the ATLUS saga. Although the gameplay is a bit simplistic, the choreographic aspect always remain at a high level. Vivisecting the package you can see some naivety too, but overall - and focused on target audience - is a well-packaged collection.

Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island is a pretty solid, rally themed DLC. The new location works well with the improved bad weather conditions and adds a lot to stuff to do, although not all the new events are actually "new".

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is a brilliant adaptation of the themes, the atmosphere and the mood of the homonymous pen and paper RPG. The alchemical mix between cinematic adventure and light RPG works great and Big Bad Wolf Studio gives a fresh take on the concept of “playing a role” in a video game. It’s a pity that technically wise the game sometimes doesn’t stand up to its own ambitions.

Madden NFL's debut on the new consoles brings lots of social features and new details which are not always so significant, though. In particular, the visuals don't seem to take full advantage of Xbox One and PS4 hardware. An incomplete pass into “next gen”, for now.
