The quality of GTA V puts to shame 99% of triple A productions. The story is beautiful, the graphics are unbelievable for the old hardware they run on, and most importantly the gameplay is fun and smooth. GTA V is not afraid to show it is a videogame, and has the guts to trade some of its realism for the sake of fun.

The best version of one of the best games of the past generation. With lots of added details, new content, updated graphics and an interesting (albeit not perfect) first-person view, this is hands down the GTA V we'll give to the history books.

There are so many new elements in Super Mario Odyssey, but in the end what actually strikes us is its ability to be fun in the usual elegant, essential and inevitable Mario way. If you want to run, jump, discover, fly… and keep on doing these (and more) things for hours and hours, Super Mario Odyssey is the game for you.

Baldur's Gate III is not entirely without flaws, and they tend to become more noticeable in the game's last act (especially when it comes down to optimization), but none of that change the fact that we are dealing with a CRPG masterpiece and Larian's crowning achievement after an already long and quite successful career. Weather you are a returning fan or a new one, there is almost no reason to not give this one a go, if you are passionate about computer role-playing games.

Tears of the Kingdom is what happens when a triple A studio with a triple A budget can take its time to develop a game, focusing on polish and gameplay instead of graphics. The result is so powerful that it puts to shame many contemporary games. This is a masterpiece.

Elden Ring is an incredible game that takes the "soulslike" formula and declines it within a vast and dense world full of elements arranged with extreme care. It is a demanding experience, which requires the player's focus and a high desire to explore and experiment: it gives the best of itself when the player is ready to explore the huge Lands Between. Its world design has made the structures of the previous soulslike games obsolete. Simply a new milestone for its genre.

Hades is a contender for one of the best roguelikes in recent years. The extraordinary magnetism that surrounds him, the desire that instills in the player to try relentlessly, maybe even just to read the umpteenth sarcastic comment of the deity on duty, are very valuable features. When scaled down to the core mechanics of the game, Bioshock Infinite is a somewhat predictable (even if largely enjoyable) game.
