Bowser's Fury is a BowerStein creature, hybrid, short and chunky, more like a pot-pourri a bit under the usual creative standard from Nintendo. Still, it supports a mutiplayer classic from the Wii U era.

Cyberpunk 2077 was able to listen to critics and went to see a ripper doc to come out in a 2.0 version that is repaired, augmented, enhanced and completed with a brilliant Phantom Liberty expansion driven by an outstanding Idris Elba who does justice to Night City and its legends.

Motive delivers the best possible version of Dead Space. The USG Ishimura is terrifying, and the way the Forstbite Engine is playing with light and shadows will give you nightmares for weeks. Beyond the technical aspects, improvements to the gameplay are sparse and the experience is about the same as it was 15 years ago. That’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Death Stranding 2 isn't a bad game. It's a beautiful game. But it disappoints precisely where the first one was astonishing: by levelling out the difficulty, rendering the journey anodyne, watering down what made the original game a tough, unforgettable experience. Here, Kojima seems to have given in to the temptation of comfort and past criticism, delivering a game that is more accessible but less meaningful. Far from extending his vision, On the Beach seems to mark his running out of steam.

Infinite Wealth is to Like in Dragon what Tears of the Kingdom is to Breath of the Wild: bigger, better, richer and more intense. The magnificent picture is marred by a technique that sometimes falls short of current expectations, by a few repetitions at times, and above all by the publisher's simply outrageous choice of content for the Deluxe Edition.

Requiem is a pivotal work that manages to reconcile two long-standing, contrasting visions of the saga. Tension and Action. It takes the best of what Resident Evil has to offer and elevates it to a level of polish rarely seen. Though the alternating structure between Grace and Leon locks the pace and limits the kind of replay freedom found in some earlier entries. Yet, in the face of such mastery, this compromise feels almost negligible.

Kingdom Come Deliverance II is a rare gem that requires total commitment. Its ultra-realistic approach will appeal to fans of immersive role-playing games but may exhaust players looking for a more accessible experience.

If we were to judge Part I only as a remake which isn't bringing anything gameplay or story-wise, the score would be 70. But at the end of the day, the Naughty Dog masterpiece is getting its best version yet so it couldn't be anything else than a perfect 10.

If you like turn-based games, cats, and Edmund McMillen's sordid universe, don't hesitate to dive into Mewgenics. Even more so if you like to suffer. The crazy roguelite from the author of The Binding of Isaac still needs a few tweaks in terms of progression, but already offers a bottomless pit of content.

A rich and diversified gameplay is at the heart of Deathloop, the like Arkane is known for, but the studio, or Bethesda is too shy of letting the player explore by himself et ruin the pleasure of exploration. Also, the invasion mechanism is a little too... invasive.

A bit fastidious sometimes, often original, Metroid Dread is kinda stuck between two worlds. Handling the game is counter-intuitive, but there's some great new additions and you'll find a well balanced difficulty. The game brings a new slice of mythology that has been expected forever now.

It still feels good to play Nioh again, especially when it is done on its best version ever. The content available on The Nioh Collection is mind blowing. The ability to play the game either in 4K60 or 120hz or even to enjoy PS5 visual upgrades on a regular screen with the PS5 Standard Mode brings a lot of comfort to the players, even though the engine and the level design are somewhat outdated, with aliasing and texture popping everywhere. The lack of loading screens and the use of the Dualsense are also great additions.

An essential two-parter, Mario Galaxy shines with its creativity and dazzling artistic direction. Together, both games make for a particularly generous bundle, offering insight into the franchise’s future: a level-design masterclass set in space. Fun, iconic, and accompanied by an unforgettable score from the very start, this is a true classic worth rediscovering — though it’s a shame Nintendo has been a bit greedy about it.
