Flight Simulator 2020 is a game that is launched with a modest amount of content that, however, will take years to master. It is a platform that will evolve over time, but it has a really fabulous visual, physical and control base.

Even with some little flaws, Detroit is the best game ever created by Quantic Dream. You'll really feel close to the characters. Be ready for your instincts and principles to be tested.

If you played it back in the day, the new features might seem somewhat more incidental to you; even so, the game itself remains mesmerizing with its branching paths and surprises waiting to be discovered. If you haven't played it until now... My friend, then with Starfield, the takeoff of your life awaits you.

Ori and the Blind Forest is a delightful experience, beautiful, with pixel perfect controls and classic platforming. It´s not very innovative in its mechanics, but plays great and it is, at the same level, challenging and rewarding.

With its numerous improvements, Death Stranding 2 finds the ideal balance between stick and rope, between shooting and walking, between action and stealth. Hideo Kojima thus comes full circle, completing the game he wasn’t allowed to finish 10 years ago.

Yoshi's Crafted World not only changes wool by cardboard to offer a charming plaform game: it goes beyond offering a "collect-a-thon" with extremely varied levels, full of surprises and distinct gameplay mechanics. A very enjoyable game with local co-op and a magnificent example that reminds us that in 2D gaming, not all is done yet.

As the name says, Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition is the best way to play and enjoy this terrific JRPG. But beyond all the welcome changes and QOL improvements, it's impressive how a lot of the original elements (like the story or the combat) are as enjoyable in 2020 as they were in 2011. Monolith Soft truly saw the future.

Bayonetta 2 is one of the best "hack´n slash" games you can play in any console. It delivers intense combat, charming characters and non stop fun. On the down side, the Switch version is almost identical to the Wii U release.

Monster Hunter Generations is a great retrospective of the franchise that adds new content and changes some of the fundamentals without ruining them. If you are going to play alone, it is great. If you are going to play with friends, it has no rival.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is not only a breath of fresh air for 2D platforms, it is a master class in how to update a game concept that has triumphed for more than three decades, and do so successfully, without losing the essence. A surprising platformer where the unexpected is the true star.

Like the Phoenix, Final Fantasy XVI rises from the ashes to regain its throne among the best RPGs. It is a game that exudes a confidence and firmness when it comes to carrying out everything that we have not seen in the saga for years, showing that Final Fantasy does not need to wait its turn to shine like a star.

Arkane Studios offers us, once again, a great adventure that mixes elements from action, exploration, stealth a puzzle games with much more bull's eye than we are used to see. The chance to play with two characters with different abilities, the gameplay freedom and the different endings make the campaign one of the most replayable in a long time.

The original was so groundbreaking that it still holds up today, but this remake shows that there was a lot of room for improvement. It doesn't matter if you knew about Leon's original adventure or not, with this trip to "Deep Spain" you will have the time of your life like never before.

Insomniac dresses Marvel's Spider-Man 2 in the black suit, improving to the extreme all the mechanics of the previous titles and adding new features that work in perfect symbiosis. Resident Evil 3 is a brilliant remake. It is faithful to the original 1999 PSX game, with updated gameplay and graphics, but Capcom has been able to deepen its storyline, characters and connections with RE2. On the downside, you can finish it under 5 hours (first round).

Dragon Quest Builders mixes Minecraft's formula with Dragon Quest's RPG tradition and the result is surprising. It's a game that will hook you in terribly, that always unfolds something new (enemies, new creative options...) and even if it may seem a complex game, it's always easy to play and is very fun. If you give it a chance, you won't escape.

Dave the Diver is one of the best indie games of 2023, simple as that. Not only is it tremendously fun and original, but it is also long, it also is very impressive in audiovisual side, and the developers keep adding new content. And, on top of that, it exudes a sympathy that is hard to see nowadays.

Palworld is an entertaining game if you connect with its survival and monster-catching mechanics, and its gameplay loop.
