Ghostwire: Tokyo doesn't tap into all of its potential. There's nothing wrong with it per se (save for some repetitiveness) but there's nothing really unique about it either. Maybe except the visuals? It looks really nice, and all in all, it is a sturdy, by-the-book game with mediocre gameplay.

The World Before is more of an interactive story than an adventure game. The gameplay was a letdown, but the story and the world were quite OK. You have to decide yourself what's more important for you.

Triangle Strategy is one of these games that is more than just a simple sum of its elements. But remember - Japanese tactical RGPs are odd. If you haven't played anything from this genre, be sure to check out the demo version first.

Elden Ring is a true soulslike that does some wonderful things with the concept of an open world, and its hands-off exploration. I haven't had so much fun with an open world since Red Dead Redemption 2. A difficult, satisfying, and otherwise excellent game!

We're judging Elex 2 by the amount of progress made since its predecessor. The developers didn't waste time and did a terrific job for such a small team. Elex 2 is still pretty crude, but it has been polished much better than Elex 1.

Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation 5 is really a great racing game - simply, because there is no competition. However, when looking at it from the racing genre's perspective, it lacks novelty and seems like a game which should have been released 5 years ago.

Shadow Warrior 3 could be considered as one of the best action games of the year. However, the world will probably forget about it during the coming months, just as it forgot The Medium by December of 2021. It's a short but sweet, and really fun game.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a small revolution that this famous series needed for a long time. I recommend this game to all Switch owners - not just Pokémon fans - because it really is entertaining. It doesn't look great, but it will keep you glued to the screen.

Lost Ark is a good game that gets better over time. There should be enough content for everyone, but it all comes down to how Amazon will manage this game in the future. I'm sure that Lost Ark will be popular, and its very accessible gameplay model should attract new players to join the fight.

Horizon Forbidden West doesn't try to reinvent the genre, and it's barely an evolution either. The developers have simply mixed all the current ingredients in perfect proportions. What they did in the end was throttling the freedom, gradually revealing the full extent of the experience in Forbidden West. One of the finest adventures we've recently had for sure!

Techland has managed to create something more important than just another well-written video game. Behold, a convincing open world that encourages you to discover its secrets and provides lots of fun, regardless of what you're doing. Dying Light 2 isn't perfect, but it perfectly makes up for its few flaws. A sequel better than the original!

If you're a more casual gamer, a high difficulty level and lots of repetitiveness will most likely discourage you from playing Rainbow Six: Extraction. But fans of R6: Siege and demanding tactical shooters should check out this game. It has potential, and I'm curious how Ubisoft will deal with it.

I would appreciate Expeditions: Rome much more if only there were fewer boring tasks and everything was happening faster. Conquering Europe really shouldn't take that long, and battles should have more meaning, albeit less frequent. Quantity does not mean quality.

If you always wanted to play God of War, but never owned a PS, this is the perfect moment to try this legend on PC. The port is solid, and technical shortcomings aren't serious enough to prevent you from having fun with this phenomenal slasher. If you know GoW from PS4, you probably want to ignore this release - there's nothing new compared to the original.

Halo Infinite is a successful Microsoft experiment. You will not experience a gram of revolution here - it's just a safe evolution with respect to the source material, but all in all: why change something that works? The open world is rather an addition for those who are interested - it does not spoil what has always been the best in Halo, i.e. the epic story and dynamic action. Even the graphics that would not knock you down and on PS4, not to mention the new generation, screams straight: Infinite is an old school game. And in fact, it is such a gate that takes us back into the ancient times - which can be seen as both an advantage and a disadvantage.

Farming Simulator 22 is the best installment of the series, but it's not perfect. Some issues could have been easily avoided, while others are clearly the results of choices. But we can be sure that mods will fix many things soon. Then the veterans of the series will love it.

I'm hoping that the sequel will get developed. I hope it's equally pleasant and full of ideas, but more focused. Right now, Ruined King seems like a small game that was supposed to be big or a big game that turned out surprisingly small. Whatever the case, it's still a good and great-looking RPG.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are no revolutions, nor do they alter the idea behind the originals. They, however, have managed to give me lots of fun. Maybe it's the sentiment, or, maybe, this old-school DS gameplay is just better for me? I recommend Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to all newcomers wanting to start their adventure in this vast world.

Lots of things in Battlefield 2042 does not work the way it's supposed to. There's a lot of issues, and that's to be expected, unfortunately. Still, the foundations are solid, and if everything worked well, the final grade would be higher. After a few months of fixes, the game will work better. However, even now, I'm having tons of fun.

It's hard to shake off the feeling that someone wanted to get money from nostalgic fans. GTA Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is an interesting but painful journey. I liked revisiting Vice City the most - new graphics suit this game more than the other two.

Shin Megami Tensei V has given me so much fun during my almost 60-hours playthrough that I wasn't able to put the console down. The game has a good story and addictive gameplay - an almost perfect return of this famous series.

The evolution is noticeable - Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a better game than its predecessor. The gameplay is more complex, the graphics are nicer, there are new game modes, and some of the changes show that the developer has really listened to the community. There are still ways to go, but the direction is good.

You can whine about the lack of revolution, but when everything works perfectly fine, maybe there is no reason to change it. Forza Horizon 5 is definitely the best racing game out there and has no competition. This is, by far, the biggest car adventure you can have on your screen.

Guardians of the Galaxy vs. Avengers? The latter doesn't stand a chance. On the one hand, I should encourage you to buy GotG and send a clear message to the overlords that gamers still love single-player stories. On the other hand, I wish Eidos had spent this time making a third Deus Ex. Still, I had tons of fun with the Guardians, and I'd like to see a sequel.

Do I regret spending 70 hours playing New World? Absolutely not, but I hoped for something better, especially in terms of endgame. New World is a great MMO and a poor RPG. The developers need to keep working and improving their game, and I heartily hope the will, because there's considerable potential here.

Age of Empires 4 has some technical issues, but they don't change the fact that this is a really good game. The campaign is interesting - I felt that the developers have made AoE4 with respect to its predecessors and still have managed to introduce some changes.

I won't be surprised if Metroid Dread gets crowned Game of the Year. If that happens, I'll be happy. Dread is a furiously frustrating, extremely challenging, and superbly satisfying game, and probably the best Metroid ever.

Whoever fell in love with Far Cry 5 (and especially New Dawn) will fall in love with Far Cry 6. The game offers more of the same - dozens of hours of pure run'n'gun fun in a giant open-world that will last for months. If you want to relax after a hard day, get the game. If you want anything more, stay away from it.

Diablo 2 Resurrected is a beautiful journey down memory lane. It's a game that brings out memories and joy and, sometimes, rage (it can be brutally unforgiving). This new-old Diablo 2 took us home for a while. A sweet illusion, but its longevity depends on the work the developers still have to do.

If you've been avoiding FIFA for a long time, this edition is a great opportunity to change that and play some matches on virtual stadiums. If you're a regular, on the other hand, you're probably playing as we speak, but this time, you're probably fully satisfied. Right?
