The Medium is not only the best game from the Bloober Team but also one of the greatest virtual psychological horrors out there. It's on the same level as the masterpiece I consider What Remains of Edith Finch to be. And if you accept the lack of survival and action elements in the gameplay, you'll get a great heir to the Silent Hill series. If you prefer story and atmosphere over typical action - it's a game for you.

Hitman 3 surprised me a little and offered more than simply a rehearse of the same good-old stealth action. The solid foundation was complemented by really diverse missions and a strong storyline - a great game became even better. IO Interactive has certainly just delivered the best installment in the rebooted series.

Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 is a disaster that should have never ever occurred. The developers have butchered the technical condition of the game - the only positive thing about the PS4 version is that you can (with a bit of luck and patience) eventually finish it. There's no doubt CDPR will have to redeem itself somehow. But remember: somewhere underneath the utter myriad of bugs, hides an excellent game.

Cyberpunk 2077 proves that the developers have improved their skills since the fantastic The Witcher 3. It is an excellent action RPG that would benefit from a longer delay to polish the various issues. However, no amount of bugs can diminish the immense pleasure of exploring this world.

It's worth buying additional storage for Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. Modern Warfare's campaign still lingers in my memories thanks to the sensational NV missions, but I'm sure Cold War has produced more memorable scenes. Multiplayer in the new CoD is good, but it's the campaign where it's at in this entry. As far as MP is concerned, I'll stick to the last one.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a perfect and fun strategy game without any generals, explosions, and militaristic tools of destruction. Instead, we have a pleasant and colorful title where you conquer enemies without spilling blood.

Despite numerous technical issues, Valhalla is still a very good game. It's the best one among the RPG-oriented Assassin's Creed titles and one of the best games in the series. Ubisoft listened to the fans' complaints about Odyssey and created a game that successfully pleases the entire fanbase.

I had really low expectations and Watch Dogs: Legion turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It's a decent action game with some cool ideas and mechanics that yield several dozens of hours of fun, provided you like wandering around virtual cities doing the same thing over and over again.

A futuristic FPS from Poland? This autumn has more to offer than just Cyberpunk 2077. Ghostrunner is a very intense "one-hit game" - you kill them, or they kill you. The 8 hours I have spent with the game provided tons of fun. I can even say that I became addicted to being in constant movement and playing with death by using a trial and error method.

Different Tales studio - as the name suggests - believes that there are still gamers who want something more from games than just Fortnite skins. Their games based heavily on text, like the ones from 1980, are for those very people. It's both a great thing and a huge weakness - Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Heart of the Forest will probably stay in its dark pit. It's pretty and interesting but won't become a bestseller.

FIFA 21 is a game with few interesting new features but they're not so extensive as to require a year of development. This should be a simple content patch. Still, the game itself is very good and satisfying, capable of elevating a house party and thrilling core fans.

The typical gamer will find Star Wars Squadrons a difficult game with a bland storyline and poor content. Others will have an opportunity to take out their joysticks and find out just how great the classic Star Wars sims were. It's good that the gaming community was reminded of the classics like X-Wings and TIE Fighers, but I'm still waiting for a true gem to come in the future.

Time wasn't gentle to the original Mafia; a remake was a necessity. I'm glad I could experience this story once more. I completed the game with pleasure, admiring the recreated Lost Heaven, and some really nice graphics. The sequels have nothing on this remaster, and even though some elements could use more polish, this is most definitely a must-play.

The new Crash Bandicoot did not take the easy route and even managed to push the boundaries in a few respects. It's living proof that some genres don't need a forced revolution. Why reinvent something when the old ways work perfectly? It's great there's a platformer out there such as It's About Time.

Mario isn't for everyone - that's self-evident. But Super Mario 3D All-Stars combines three games so good that all platformer fans out there simply have to own it. Even if you already know Mario 64 and Galaxy from WiiU, it's still worth buying the set just for Sunshine. Even at full price. Not even kidding.

Tell Me Why is best experienced as an interactive move - discovering the unusual story of the Ronan siblings from this angle yields an extremely compelling experience. DONTNOD's new game is worth your time and money not only because it has something important to say, but also because it does so in an extremely satisfying, and gracious way.

There are moments, when Marvel's Avengers shines really brightly. About a year from now, the game will certainly be less Thor: The Dark World and more Thor: Ragnarok, hopefully shining at all times. The developers need to polish the interface, fix some technical issues and add some more "stuff." Until then, we get a product that's more than satisfying.

A long time ago, when RTS games reached their peak in popularity, this game wouldn't receive this much attention. But now, Iron Harvest has a chance to become one of the best strategies in years despite copying ideas without providing anything new. Well, maybe the setting is original, but it hasn't reached its potential either.

Wasteland 3 is great. Brian Fargo delivers an excellent RPG as a farewell to the old generation of consoles. This game offers tons of options to shape the world, make decisions, and suffer the consequences. Despite some flaws, Wasteland 3 also offers a good combat system and keeps the player entertained.

Crusader Kings III is a great and very complex game that won't get boring anytime soon and has already become a staple of the genre. Despite that, Crusader Kings III requires more content (including the things cut out for future DLCs - not cool) and some fixes to be called a complete game.

Flight Simulator 2020 is a gargantuan game that promises to become even bigger, richer and more technically advanced over the coming years. Fans will be delighted by the flying, and everyone else should keep an eye on expansions and DLCs (buildings, planes etc.), which will certainly elevate this true next-gen game even higher.

Dear developers, you can't treat us like this. Deadly Premonition 2 has a great story with excellent characters that are held back by an abysmally bad technical side. Fans will accept this and have fun. Everyone else will avoid DP2 at all costs.

Sucker Punch has made their best game to date. Ghost of Tsushima offers tons of content for dozens of hours, a superb combat system, gorgeous graphics, and a unique atmosphere. This is a perfect game to end the PlayStation 4 era, and it makes us optimistic about the future.

If you've played Shadow Tactics, the high quality of Desperados III will come to you as no surprise. This game checks off all the mandatory elements of the stealth tactics genre: lots of ways to complete a mission, an intriguing story (and less obvious than it seems initially), cool characters, and a difficulty level that motivates, but doesn't frustrate.

The Last of Us II is a master piece and one of the best games ever, period. It's all you need to know. God bless Naughty Dog and its employees. They're true artists in the way they were able to contain so many emotions within this single game, at the same time scorching the world to the ground.

Song of Horror is a cool and scary game defined by very old-school elements and a lot of untapped potential. If you can swallow crude animations and the need to repeat many of the stages, you will be fine. If not, even the pretty surroundings and an interesting story may not be enough. Still, it could be much worse.

Valorant is a great mix of well-known online shooter mechanics. The developers haven't created anything unique or special, but they have nailed the most important aspect - Valorant is really, really fun to play. An additional success - almost everyone has now heard about this game thanks to the controversial marketing.

Xenoblade Chronicles is a unique jRPG. Exceptional even. Not only fans of the genre should get to know it. The remaster for Nintendo Switch makes this game even more pronounced, allowing it to find wider audience. If you're about to play it for the very first time, I envy you.
