Darkest Dungeon 2 suffers from the lack of an engaging story and some monotony, but the developers have delivered on their promises. This game is better than its predecessor in almost every way.

You should definitely pay attention to Gran Turismo 6, even though there's a new PlayStation on the market. GT6 may not have some key features present in the previous installment, but right now it's the most versatile, rich and interesting console racing game. There are some minor issues, but all in all, it will keep you entertained for dozens of hours (mainly due to tons of content and a great new driving model). It's a worthy farewell to the PS3.

Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO has a metric ton of content and some well crafted fanservice. Do not expect a compex gameplay and try to forget about a problematic camera, and you should spend dozens of hours playing a really fun and flashy game.

A fast, brutal and demanding beat'em up that is Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, proves that taking a few ideas from old games, expanding them and making them look and sound modern can give an excellent result. Basic gameplay mode is accompanied by two more, that provide many hours of fun - either alone or with company (using one console or a network).

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is a sequel perfect for the fans of the original game and fans of repetitive gameplay. They'll love this game but they won't be surprised at all. The combat system is really cool, the story is okay (albeit too long) but all in all Monolith took a step back as if afraid to do something new.

At the start of its journey, Marathon is a game whose bold artistic style sometimes overshadows its best features: excellent shooting and a satisfying progression model. It is an interesting alternative in the extraction shooter genre for well-coordinated teams of three who are not afraid of brutal combat and grind. Unfortunately, the flashy, confusing interface and lack of a useful introduction to the gameplay may be enough to put some players off.

The fifteenth part of the Final fantasy saga marks the long awaited return of the series to the group of the best RPG games. Here you'll find all the things you love about FF and even more. The developers have created a world that will keep you engaged for many hours and the stories of all the characters will stay with you long after the end credits roll. Sure, there are some minor issues, but they won't make me love this game any less.

PC gamers have finally received one of the most unusual RPGs in recent history. It's a truly mesmerizing adventure - strange, sometimes hard to understand and even obsolete. But these things cannot really be considered as flaws. They're there for a reason. Dragon's Dogma is a great, original game that feeds of some well known clichés.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire brings us a cohesive world with a unique, mouse-themed noir aesthetic, an engaging detective story, and straightforward but satisfying combat mechanics. Although the gameplay itself lacks a bit of depth, I had a blast playing it.

Blood Dragon is one of the most original expansions I have ever come across. The developers have succeeded in smuggling absurd atmosphere into Far Cry 3 and create a really funny parody. Unfortunately all the main assets of Far Cry 3 have been lost in the process and the game quickly becomes monotonous. Making fun of trending themes is great up to a point, when Blood Dragon becomes boring. What we have is a really funny missed chance.

Civilization: Beyond Earth doesn't offer a staggering amount of changes but that doesn't affect the gameplay in a negative way. Beyond Earth is a classy stand alone game. Basic rules from Civ V guarantee great fun and on top of that you get a new world and some aliens which make you think of new strategies. There's no revolution but a well executed evolution, and that's more than enough.

If you don’t mind a high entry threshold, many references to the 80s' popculture, a simple war story and some really dry humor, Jagged Alliance 3 is for you. And if you loved JA2 – don’t even hesitate.

Deus Ex GO was supposed to be a well made, good looking puzzle game and it turned out to be exactly that. It's a third installment in the GO series aimed at fans of simple mind-games and minimalistic graphics that want to expand their knowledge of the Deus Ex universe. Just like Lara Croft and Hitman - DX GO is simply very good.

It's a good thing that PC gamers can finally get to know Disgaea - both installments are really good. Disgaea 2 is a game for fans of tactical games with Japanese flavor. It's all very charming funny and full of deliberate cheesiness. What's more the character development system and the combat system are great and the system requirements are low.

Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate Daemonhunters is a very good representative of its genre, a perfect choice for both fans of the universe and XCOM games. After many mediocre games, we finally have a WH40K title worth your money.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is a good remaster - it's obvious that Nintendo put some serious work into it. But remember that this Zelda is a peculiar game that can throw you off - especially because of its huge reliance on motion-sensor controls.

Wasteland is a mediocre game and an excellent adventure rolled into one product - thanks to a great atmosphere I found determination to overlook bugs, ugly graphics and a very weak interface. People who fell in love with Fallout and Wasteland should be satisfied. It's a pity that the developers haven't had the time/will to improve and rethink some things. Wasteland 2 could have been an atom bomb. Instead it's just a really loud grenade.

The foundations of Anno 1800 are solid, and the game offers a diversified experience. Going back to the roots was a crucial decision, and I can say, with all certainty: this is one of the best strategy games of 2019. It's been a long while since we had such a lovely and absorbing game to play.

The Outer Worlds 2 is okay, and perhaps that is its biggest flaw – it is unable to match either its powerful rivals or New Vegas, to which it is merely derivative and doesn't make up for it with its storyline or companions. In a year packed with excellent games, it's hard to justify buying it when there are so many great, cheaper RPGs out there.

Keeper is a perfect game for a chilly autumn. It’s short, condensed, original, weird, colorful, and strangely relaxing. This is a game that is build 100% on vibes. If you like these kinds of adventures, give it a chance.

Planet Zoo is a great tycoon made in the age where tycoon games seem extinct. And it's pretty much the best game for animal lovers. But not for every animal lover. Patient and talented builders will create new and improved parks, achieving new levels of satisfaction. Others (and by this I mean almost everybody) will become bored after a few hours.

Far Cry 5 is a baffling case - some things have been greatly improved, but numerous elements feel neglected. This gargantuan, exciting sandbox packed with activities provides lots of satisfaction, but it's hard not to feel like the developers have missed a good opportunity to make some statement with the game - both the plot and the campaign itself feel undercooked. It's most definitely not a bad game, but it would be nice to finally redefine madness and make something better than the excellent Far Cry 3.

I was a bit disappointed that abandoning the previous generation of consoles didn't bring the kind of generational leap in quality that many people were probably hoping for. Nevertheless, F1 25 is an improved version of F1 24 in every respect, with the improved driving model and path tracing on PC standing out in particular. We'll probably have to wait for the real revolution until F1 26, which will have to reflect the huge changes related to the new regulations in Formula 1. In the meantime, I recommend giving F1 25 a chance.

Age of Empires 4 has some technical issues, but they don't change the fact that this is a really good game. The campaign is interesting - I felt that the developers have made AoE4 with respect to its predecessors and still have managed to introduce some changes.

I have several small, indie game series, that have never let me down. SteamWorld is one of them. Be it meroidvania, be it a jRPG with cards - all my adventures with steambots were at least good. SteamWorld Heist 2 confirms that rule, and I simply have to recommend this game.

If you expected some sort of a revolution with the new Trackmania, the first few minutes will prove you wrong. Canyon is a continuation of Nadeo's consistent way but with a new graphics engine and an addition of the ManiaPlanet system. Speed freaks will spend hundreds of hours with this game, perfecting their skills and advancing in the world rankings. It's a very good, sometimes perfect, arcade game, accesible for casual and hardcore gamers alike.

Battlefield V offers tremendous multiplayer experience but has an incredibly dull single-player campaign. Simply focus on playing online and everything will be fine. The developers have taken to heart all support received from players during beta tests and have fixed the most important issues.

You could say, that the PC version of 2011 Mortal Kombat wins the battle, but it's not a flawless victory. Nevertheless, you should check it out - your keyboard will suffer from a brutal fatality, but the amount of fun is satisfying. It's a great beat'em up for solo players - the game has lots of modes and challenges, but it's also great for parties - up to 4 players can play on one machine. The developers need to control some online issues and minor bugs, and the experience will truly be "komplete".
