Like a Dragon: Ishin is simply another well-made game in this infinitely original series. It may be a bit rusty, not quite up to modern standards, but it nevertheless is a lot of fun and offers all the things people want from and love about the Yakuza series.

Shift Up Studio surprised me very positively, clearly creating out of a passion for electronic entertainment, which is difficult to see in the works of large corporations. I wish there were more games like this.

You should be interested in World of Warships. It's not possible to determine whether this game will be such an enormous success as World of Tanks is but there is a large player base building right now. The attractiveness stems from (again) simple controls, intuitive mechanics, attractive competition and great satisfaction that comes with every success.

Wargame: European Escalation seems to be a game wanting to merge RTS dynamics with the realism of games like Combat Mission. But the developers haven't tried to get to the biggest audience no matter what. They simply created something unique.

With this expansion Arkane Studios matched the quality level of the regular installments of the Dishonored series (and that really is something!). All fans of Dishonored 1 & 2 simply have to experience Death of the Outsider. Everyone else should do the same but only after finishing the previous games. It's worth it.

This is a masterpiece of gaming with atmosphere so powerful, that the player forgets to breathe and absorbs the story with all their senses, unable to divert their eyes, and oblivious to the surrounding world. Terror and awe are constant during this phenomenal, but too short adventure.

Lost Ark is a good game that gets better over time. There should be enough content for everyone, but it all comes down to how Amazon will manage this game in the future. I'm sure that Lost Ark will be popular, and its very accessible gameplay model should attract new players to join the fight.

God of War III is a great game and an excellent slasher, one of the best games of previous generation. It's worth to get to know this game through the remastered version but only if you haven't had the pleasure of finishing it on the PS3. People who know Kratos well won't be able to justify spending money on the PS4 version. It's very pretty but all in all: the game is terrific, the remaster is mediocre.

In case of too many new games - break glass. Inside you will find Black Myth: Wukong. A great proposition among numerous game debuts of upcoming fall. It really is original, and stunning to look at, even though it's not perfect.

Tiny Bookshop is a warm story about growth driven by community. For a moment, we are actually able to believe in the existence of an alternative reality, in which quality and expertise are the path not to success, but to a peaceful life. In which a tiny boat-shaped bookshop drifts peacefully across the ocean of profitability, undisturbed by Amazon's container ships.

Northgard is a surprisingly great game. It will appeal both to fans of The Settlers series and to enthusiasts of multiplayer strategies. Additionally, it sounds nice, looks decent and it has a high replay value. Even the single-player campaign is well-made and interesting. Northgard is a great example of perfecting the use of Early Access.

It's a pity that Kena: Bridge of Spirits did not get a big marketing campaign because it definitely deserves recognition. It's a lovely, well-constructed game for everyone. I really hope we'll see more of Kena in the future, and I wish more debuts like this for every studio.

Gears Tactics requires a specific approach. Players looking for complex gameplay similar to the ancient UFO need to be warned - GT is even simpler than the newest XCOMs. It's definitely not a game to cater to core veterans. However, this is the perfect introduction to tactical strategy for anyone who found the complexity intimidating.

I don’t like musou games very much but the strategy elements, planning the fights and likable characters made Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes a game worth my time. If only there was less text on the screen during battles.

Despite a few setbacks, the new Civ V add-on has to be considered a very good one. Introduced novelties improve gameplay by adding some depth and color. Constant spy fighting and religious competition are the elements that were missing and now the game is complete.

Fire Emblem: Engage offers a very pleasant and engaging combat system, but the story leaves a lot to be desired (especially when it comes to characters).

The Elder Scrolls: Legends offers lots of bells and whistles - a story-driven campaign, lots of ways to build your deck, and pretty graphics. But it lacks character; the game feels too mundane. After all the emotions of every combat there is almost nothing left that makes you want to play the game again.

Watch_Dogs has a very obvious storyline and some minor issues, but as a game it offered me lots of satisfaction and finishing it was a real pleasure (there was no boredom, and I can't say that about all Ubisoft's sandbox games). The most important thing is the idea - the developers had a good one and were able to deliver a very good game on top of it. If there were no GTA V and surprisingly good Sleeping Dogs, the final grade would be higher.

Unique, very pretty graphics and a way to choose separate difficulty levels for various parts of the game are very strong features of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon. But are they worth a fairly high premiere price?

Fans of 4X games set in space will be pleased to know that Endless Space 2 is a real high-quality product. It's well made as well as engrossing. That's it. I really hope that Amplitude's new game wins the same acclaim as another successful cosmic strategy, Stellaris.

Tyranny is a game of many contrasts and will stir come controversy. On one hand w have an impression that every dialogue counts and we're always deep inside the main quest (even though we're doing something else). On the other hand there are many gameplay solutions that look like torn out from a much more complex game and they don't get to shine. The beginning is superb - later the game loses some of its appeal.

I wish that the developers' creation becomes popular enough so that they can create a more complex sequel without looking at a budget. It could have some sort of a multiplayer mode - the game is lacking an opportunity to have a two player battle: one makes the turrets, the other tries to get through. But aside from that Anomaly is a very well made single player experience.

It's an incredibly big game - the amount of secrets, side missions or challenges can be overwhelming even for an experienced fan of the series. What is surprising is a very high quality of almost all these elements. Beginning with an engrossing storyline, ending with a well done system of making your own grenades. With a project of that scale it was hard to be perfect - defending your hideouts could be made better and long loading screens can frustrate a little.

Tempest Rising is a classic RTS with a campaign, a spiritual successor to Command & Conquer that painstakingly remakes all things we know from the past. It won’t make the publishers want to give us more games like this, but it is like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy sky above RTS land. One that will make fans of C&C smile.

GRID 2 will undoubtedly please many fans of racing games, but it hasn't got the same level of magic its predecessor had. The game has a simple, arcade driving model and really pretty graphics that should appeal to casual gamers, and a really demanding and complex multiplayer mode for hardcore fans. What is more, the engine's optimization is flawless - GRID 2 looks and runs great even on older computers.

The Banner Saga is a very unique game - an excellent mix of cRPG and tactical battles with a compelling story, interesting characters and wonderful, cartoonish graphics. It's definitely not a game for everyone, but fans of complex stories will be overjoyed. And in case they are fans of Scandinavian hero stories and love sad fables as well, The Banner Saga is a must buy.

Despite numerous technical issues, Valhalla is still a very good game. It's the best one among the RPG-oriented Assassin's Creed titles and one of the best games in the series. Ubisoft listened to the fans' complaints about Odyssey and created a game that successfully pleases the entire fanbase.

If only Card Shark had a different style – one resembling Ocean’s Eleven – I would have found it much more interesting. It's a very peculiar game, a good one, with lots of work put into it, but it's also meant for a very specific audience.

The technology and mechanics clearly show how good this game could be. Naughty Dog's genius spark is missing and what we got is just good craftmanship. It's a great base for a real Uncharted for PS Vita, that most likely will debut in a year or two.

Football Manager 2023 works great. It’s a powerful second life, second job or simply your biggest passion simulation tool. If you are familiar with the previous installment, you’ll enjoy new things, and if you want to try the series out for the first time, the 2023 edition is a great place to start and learn.
