What can I say, finally the prettiest shooter arrives on consoles. Although you haven't all the opportunities from the first Crysis in terms of exploring a whole island, New York seems to be the right choice for action. The Pretty Apple gets all my attention and makes me forget the straight-forward gameplay. Not quite an innovation, but a really great shooter.- GamingXP

After Super Mario 3D Land, Nintendo has another hardware seller in Mario Kart 7. While Super Mario 3D Land redefined 3D jump'n'runs, Mario Kart 7 sets also new standards for fun and arcade racers. On the one hand, the game offers total freedom and the player is absorbed by the game. On the other hand, it's not a game to play in a meanwhile - you need loads of time to get from one point to another and patience to save the game at certain points. I'm impressed: this balance between accessibilty for beginners and challenge for pros is something other fighting games should strive to copy.
