The short campaign, the poor soundtrack, indestructible background objects and the shallow story, told in a confusing way, are disappointing though. Still, the game is very intense and well done. A must buy for all the fans.

NHL 11 manages to conserve the feeling that's unique to hockey. It's action and battle, and if you're into that, this is your game!

Dead Space was worth the wait. The atmosphere is great, the action nice and tiny mistakes can be discovered only at third sight. Fans of the horror genre will sit in the dark and play all night long.

In my opinion, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit revitalizes the series with regards to old virtues. The arcade steering keeps you up with fast paced race action.

Halo 4 had the potential to be one of the best games of all time. With BlazBlue - Calamity Trigger, Arc System Works has developed a real surprise hit. Although the fans would have preferred a new Guilty Gear, this game is a great title on its own.

You’ll definitely enjoy this title if you like music. The only sad thing is that there are not all songs of the famous band included in the game.

Lara Croft's comeback is simply stunning. The cinematic gameplay, its atmosphere and the "LOST resembling" environments are great, while the multiplayer is a nice-to-have goodie. The game is let down just a little by its German localization and Lara's redundant squad members. Nevertheless, in my opinion it's the best game in 2013 so far.

Kratos' appearance on the PSP is a blast. Its epicness is unparalleled as well as the graphics, but some weaknesses like invisible walls hurt the almost invincible Kratos.

Crysis 2 isn't perfect in terms of gameplay, but it is definitely one picturesque and epic game.

If you are a fan of the old Street Fighter games which wrote history, you will love Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike Online. It's a solid remake with renewed HD character graphics, but stayed true to it's roots. The level of difficulty is as tough as ever, so if you have a bad timing, you're simply going down. The one bad thing is a stupid Hip-Hop Soundtrack in the menu, though the in-game sounds are great. All in all, the game sends you back into a typical amusement hall of the 90s.

Dance Central did many things right, Harmonix really just had to improve details. They did: add good coop, dance battle, a kind of campagin mode, you get Dance Central 2. A game that takes the good predecessor to the next level. Okay, the song selection will be too modern for some tastes – but once that becomes the biggest criticism, that's a damn good sign.

Bastion is a lesson for game development. It's a paragon that it's possible to achieve an excellent result with a small, but creative team. It proves that little, but crucial things can have a big impact. It's a symbol that one can outdo big-budget games with style and a both humorous and mature story-line. Of course, Bastion is not perfect: But it's worthy to be called one of the best Xbox games to date.

Finally, DiRT has turned out to be a cool rally experience.

Blizzard has accomplished the unthinkable and made Diablo III on consoles the better game, without server- and connection-issues, without an auction-house and with superior gameplay. It's open season for loot-hunters. Again.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is a really good racing game with great graphics and gameplay. The only flaw is that there is no opportunity to tune your car like in Need for Speed Underground 2.

Studio Ghibli and LEVEL 5 combined their knowledge and the result is awesome. Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch captivates everybody with a great anime atmosphere, a deep story and approved gameplay mechanisms. By now Ni No Kuni is a candidate for a game of the year award.

If you want to experience the toughest league in the world, we can only recommend UFC Undisputed 2010. Great atmosphere, 100+ fighters and a stunning editor work together for this masterpiece.

The huge amount of plants and the various zombies are the right ingredients for a good tower defense game.

Series are hard to evaluate: On the one hand, every sequel should be reviewed as a stand-alone – Madden NFL 09 is a great game on that account, not only in the football-segment, but generally in the sports genre – on the other hand, owner of Madden NFL 08 don’t have to buy the sequel, because the changes are not that big.

Well, it's just the first three adventures of Sly, but in HD. Nothing new or exciting is implemented, but it's Sly quality nevertheless.

A great game and 3D is a nice gimmick. Although I played more than an hour, my eyes couldn't quite handle the flaring screen. You always have to have the right angle when looking on the screen, not too close and not too far. But when the game uses the capabilities of 3D, you will see some fireworks.

Despite the missing Omega DLC and the frugal use of the gamepad features Mass Effect 3 conquers the Wii U with its well-known qualities as the war for survival wages on.

It's okay, co-op fans will be satisfied with this arcade title. But it's weird that DLCs are coming extremely fast, smells like napping the end-consumers.

A really fantastic game that will be able to fascinate old fans and also newcomers in the genre! Go on Relic!

All in all, I'm quite impressed. The good old Battlefield multi-player experience was supplemented with a pretty good single player campaign. The graphics and sound effects are truly stunning, as is the deep atmosphere. This is what players want from a shooter.
