A promising set-up and gorgeous art direction aren't enough to mask the shortcomings of Odd Bug Studio's sequel.- GamingBolt

The combat feels good, but that doesn't stop it from being an aggressively mediocre game that lifted most of its gameplay ideas from better titles. Play those instead.- GamingBolt

The Wild West setting, intriguing lore and mech combat feel promising at first, but Bounty Star wastes them with a repetitive gameplay loop and dull story.- GamingBolt

XDefiant isn't a Call of Duty killer or even a close competitor. It has potential despite its many issues, but it has a long way to go before living up to it.- GamingBolt

Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds feels more like an experiment rather than a full-fledged release. The roguelite mode doesn’t really add any new compelling element to the game, and the core shooting in Far Cry 6 certainly isn’t strong enough to carry an expansion like this on its own.- GamingBolt

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - Secrets of the Spire might entice some players with its new gimmicks, but the DLC won't do much to keep them entertained once the novelty wears off.- GamingBolt

Sengoku Dynasty is a game that could have, and dare I say should have, been so much more than it is. There's an inherent simplicity to its gameplay loop that lends it a sort of relaxing charm, but ultimately leads it to being an uninspiring take on an era in Japanese history that brings a lot of potential to the table.- GamingBolt

Synduality: Echoes of Ada is an extraction shooter that, while really easy to get into, might be difficult to stick with considering its bland art style and simplistic gameplay that ends up not having enough depth.- GamingBolt

There’s a lot to like about Death in the Water 2, and it's a very impressive game coming from a 2-person game studio. But the things it lacks hamper the experience quite a bit, especially if you stick with it to the end.- GamingBolt

La Quimera feels like an ambitious game that was let down by time constraints during development. While there are bones of a good game in there, the general lack of quality in most of its aspects make it difficult to recommend.- GamingBolt

Post-sunsetting and content vaulting, Destiny 2: Beyond Light had some big expectations to meet. Instead, it plays things safe, delivering a boring main campaign, the usual Power grind and routine busywork to keep players engaged. Even with some interesting story bits, strong art direction and a fun raid, it's hard to recommend for both new players and die-hard fans.- GamingBolt

The Callisto Protocol looks stunning and can offer small doses of fun, but from misguided gameplay choices and hyper-linear design to ineffectual attempts at horror and a bland story, it stumbles and disappoints in too many ways to be labelled as anything but a disappointment.- GamingBolt

Crown Wars: The Black Prince is a decent game that is let down by a variety of reasons. While the story, visuals and audio are all, at best, mediocre, the strong gameplay loop where combat directly feeds into the management mechanics is an excellent way to flex your tactical prowess.- GamingBolt

If you’re keen on a new setting and don’t mind the performance issues that come with it, Wildmender may be worth checking out while taking a break from other titles. Otherwise, it’s a serviceable but ultimately forgettable sandbox experience.- GamingBolt
