Playing as Dani Rojas, players scramble down an active volcano in one rift, navigate a submerged version of Esperanza prowled by sharks in another, and race to stay ahead of a deadly lightning storm in a third, to name just a few. Along the way, they unlock new weapons and abilities as they fight crystalline enemies in their quest to collect lost shards and earn powerful gear that bring them closer to escape. Across multiple runs, players choose different paths from rift to rift and develop an uneasy alliance with Fai, the strange, sardonic artificial intelligence whose spacecraft created the rifts. Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds’ interdimensional structure is an inventive way to cap off Dani’s story despite playing it safe in most other ways.

Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds feels like a bit of a wash, echoing too much of what came prior in the base game and DLCs. With required repeated runs through the same environments and a new combat mechanic that doesn’t amount to much, this expansion doesn’t provide much players haven’t seen before outside of a strange new story for Dani Rojas.

Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds feels more like an experiment rather than a full-fledged release. The roguelite mode doesn’t really add any new compelling element to the game, and the core shooting in Far Cry 6 certainly isn’t strong enough to carry an expansion like this on its own.

Another expansion for what was Ubisoft's most successful game of 2021. Unfortunately, the expansion sold separately for an additional $19.99 doesn't quite match up or do justice or add substance to the gaming experience.

Field of View options on PC are absolutely broken; Core gunplay isn’t strong enough to carry a roguelite shooter; Boring color-coded enemies.

    Thoughts-
With Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds, it looks like the developer has been trying to make Far Cry 6 the kind of game you could repeatedly come back to. However, rather than any real compelling gameplay to keep you coming back – the PvP and raids from Destiny 2, for example – the studio seems to be more interested in throwing ideas out there regardless of whether they’re half-baked. Lost Between Worlds certainly has a few interesting ideas, but they definitely aren’t interesting enough to warrant a return to Far Cry 6.

All in one color, done ugly. The quality is so-so. A bunch of incomprehensible people in the plot who don’t want to help, an uninteresting plot, a stupid weapon set, the graphics are pompous, it eats away at the eyes, the graphics are so ugly. It took me 3 hours to play, I decided to return the money for the purchase. Installed Far Cry 4 and realized what a masterpiece it is, that Ubisoft is reaching out to it and reaching out Expand
