Broken Age isn't exactly the same, obviously — or, really, even slightly the same, beyond the genre — but it's proof that Tim Schafer still knows how to make one heck of a game, no matter the era.- Gaming Age

For longtime fans of the series, however, everything that made the first two games fun is present in this one, too, which makes it a pretty safe bet to buy.- Gaming Age

It’s fun to revisit events from the past four films, and there’s a hefty amount of comedic moments that take the edge off the more horrific and visceral moments found in the films.- Gaming Age

If you're a Vita completist like me, of course, it's well worth the investment, since it's enjoyable enough to be worthwhile, but otherwise, I'd suggest proceeding with no small degree of caution.- Gaming Age

Tetris Ultimate on the Vita won't redefine the game by any stretch of the imagination, but it also won't tarnish its legacy — and as one of the many, many people for whom Tetris is a seminal gaming memory, that's really all I could ask for.- Gaming Age

In The Escapists' defense, I guess, there are plenty of people for whom "being insanely hard" is a pretty attractive value proposition. And for those people, there should be more than enough here to love. For anyone else, though, this will just offer dull, endless drudgery, and that's precisely as fun as it sounds.- Gaming Age

It's by no means a bad game, just an unoriginal one, and if you want a Zuma clone for whatever reason, it will more than do the trick.- Gaming Age

People who love the classic title will really enjoy it on the 3DS, as it's the best entry in the series and puzzle lovers who love a challenge will enjoy it.- Gaming Age

As a cinematic experience, it's interesting, but as a game — which, really, is the level that matters — it's just not as engaging as it needs to be.- Gaming Age

You get a decent amount of forward progression on the story side, the introduction of two new characters on opposite ends of the good/evil fence, and some familiar faces for old-school Borderlands fans. So if you’ve been on board with Tales from the Borderlands thus far, episode 3 will give you no reason to stop playing now.- Gaming Age

If you have any love for the original title, there’s enough new content here with the three additional characters that playing through it again will feel like a fresh experience.- Gaming Age

In fact, if anything this new version may be even better than the original — which means that, come end of year, that "Game of the Year" may prove to be just as predictive as it is descriptive.- Gaming Age

The good thing about Payday 2: Crimewave Edition is despite the shortcomings, playing the online co-op with actual people makes the game that much more enjoyable and will stick with the original review’s statement of this being an online experience.- Gaming Age

Steamworld Dig is all about exploring the great underground unknown, and all about the promise of something cool and mysterious waiting for you if you'll just dig a little deeper. The Xbox One version of the game may not bring anything new to the table, but that doesn't make it any less worthwhile if you haven't already played it.- Gaming Age

As it is, it’s a competent action-platform game that is enjoyable to play, but won’t ever reach the status of a triple-A must-play experience.- Gaming Age

Operation Abyss still isn't going to appeal to people who have zero interest in ever playing a DRPG. But it's enough of an improvement over its predecessor that I'd you have even a slight interest in the genre, you'll find yourself enjoying it.- Gaming Age

Alien Shooter still probably isn't worth picking up, but if the past is any guide, it may not be too long until it's followed by a game that is.- Gaming Age

Outside of the two minor caveats, Spy Chameleon is easy to pick up and play and is great for the casual Xbox One gamer, or someone who has ten or fifteen minutes to kill at a time.- Gaming Age

If you can do these picture logic puzzles in your sleep, then nothing here should be too far out of your comfort zone. For anyone else, however, I feel like the barrier of entry is just a little too high and the payoff a little too low to make Sketchcross worth the investment.- Gaming Age

Depending on your ideological persuasion, you might take a very dim view of Breach & Clear's politics, but honestly, its biggest, most unforgivable transgression is that it's simply not a very interesting game.- Gaming Age

I can see enjoying it in small doses — but considering how small a dose the entire game is, you could be forgiven for thinking your time and money might be better spent on a longer-lasting, more immersive experience.- Gaming Age

Running at about six hours, this game is a lot of fun with a decent story and some great action packed fights. If you haven't played either, I would recommend playing this first, then picking up last years release.- Gaming Age

Great gameplay that's a little too demanding, outstanding visuals that are a little too distracting, thumping dance music that's a little too catchy: everywhere you look in this game, it's just a constant reminder that you can, in fact, have too much of a good thing.- Gaming Age

Rather, everything does, and for that, Bloober deserves congratulations — more in the form of a subtle nod than a hearty pat on the back, mind you, but still: this is infinitely better than Basement Crawl ever was, and even if it's still not a must-own for your PS4, you won't find yourself wishing that Brawl had never even been created.- Gaming Age
