The second problem comes in the fact that it must be god himself controlling the CPU vehicles as not only are they completely aware of their surroundings, but are usually flawless in execution.

The problem with Story Mode is that additional players cannot join or exit a game in progress.

Avoid this one, and hope we'll see a better effort out of Climax in the near future.

As a movie game goes, it could have been pretty decent if there was a larger variety of enemies and of course the game was about 4 times the length. As is, we have another movie licensed game that fails to deliver the goods.

Controlling the main character(s) is where Iron Man 2 really shines and by "really shines" I mean "doesn't completely suck when compared to the rest of the game."

The mission selection is definitely a bit different from previous games, and having the various encounters with potentially dangerous prey is a great idea, but the actual execution feels pretty lackluster here.

There's so much about this game that falls flat, and so much that feels like a quick cash-in attempt using the band name attached, that I can't suggest picking this up, certainly not at a full price point.

While Spiderwick Chronicles didn't turn out to be a pile of trash, it's far from special and doesn't warrant a second glance in just about any situation.

It’s a wisp of an idea that’s not even interesting enough to sustain the minimal game that’s here, and you’re couple of dollars and 20 minutes would be better spent on pretty much anything else.

What gets under your skin is that most of the combos are unblockable, and once you are caught in string of moves, you must wait until the move set is over before you can block or counter attack. This can be frustrating on both A.I. and human battles.

A pretty big disappointment, especially when compared to other action games including the two that I mentioned. I have no issues with someone making the equivalent of a B style game, and let's face it, that's exactly what Dead to Rights is going for here. However, it misses the mark completely when it comes to gunplay and combat, and the sterile, boring environments that you get to endlessly shoot dudes in don't help it at all.

This eeks out the suspicion that Sega may have cared about NiGHTS at one point in its development, but by putting it on the Wii they sacrificed its strongest points-a good solid control scheme, and what could have been an even prettier and better-sounding game-for something much weaker as a final product.

If it weren’t broken, Still Time would be a lot of fun. The fact it is broken — and in a pretty unpredictable way to boot — pretty much negates the fun aspect. Instead, all you’re left with is a wish that the game could be rewound to a point in time where it wasn’t built around a feature that didn’t quite work right.

I’m just judging Alicization Lycoris based on what’s present in the game, it’s hard to see it as much more than a glitchy, boring mess that doesn’t do anything that you can’t get from other, significantly better games.

Probably the biggest problem with the game is that battles play out almost exactly as you'd expect and it gets old-hat almost immediately.

Between the lousy voice acting, the crappy script, the over-reliance on cutscenes, and the absurd difficulty spikes, this game is littered with problems, and regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum, it’s not going to be worth your time or money.

Even with the addition of online play this year, GameDay seems to act like the team without a payroll or ambition to achieve the glory they had in the 90's.

It never felt like the game would be substantially better if I had an intimate knowledge of what was going on. It felt like it would be better if it was, you know, a better game.

Despite the near-constant action, it’s still a dull, repetitive shooter that wears out its welcome within a few minutes, and you’d be well-advised to skip it entirely.

As Far As The Eye’s one saving grace is that it’s kind of pleasant to look at, provided there’s no text on the screen. Given that there’s lots of text on the screen, however, along with lots of incomprehensible gameplay and unresponsive controls, it doesn’t matter how nice As Far As The Eye’s visuals are when everything else about it is so awful.

The underlying concept behind Her Majesty’s Ship is pretty good. As you may have guessed from the title, it’s a management game set on a ship in the British (or French, or Spanish, or Portuguese) navy in the 1700s. With that kind of setting, there should be plenty to do, whether it’s rationing stocks, swabbing the deck, flogging miscreants, or, of course, engaging in naval warfare with the other continental powers. In practice, however, the whole thing is a baffling mess.

An average action RPG when it was released on the PC two years ago, and the transition from the PC to the PlayStation certainly has not been the easiest for the game.

Fares no better than the sum of its mediocre parts. And while the effort put forth by developer Amuze can be considered admirable, it doesn't help the fact that Redemption ends up demanding the very thing its namesake promises.

The Final Fantasy VII branding is the only real incentive to play, and while a mindless shooter with pretty cinematics isn't the worst fate for a game, it also means there's no reason to bother with it outside of an interest in said cinematics.
