A pretty big disappointment, especially when compared to other action games including the two that I mentioned. I have no issues with someone making the equivalent of a B style game, and let's face it, that's exactly what Dead to Rights is going for here. However, it misses the mark completely when it comes to gunplay and combat, and the sterile, boring environments that you get to endlessly shoot dudes in don't help it at all.- Gaming Age

Unless the online side gets a serious fix soon there's little reason to play unless you have a dedicated group of friends that really love old-school MK. And if it doesn't get fixed soon there won't be much of an online community around to support it when a fix does happen.- Gaming Age

It certainly feels like this game was made to hit a deadline, rather than grow the franchise. I couldn't help but think it was a money-grab title.- Gaming Age

Diehard shooter fans might be disappointed by the games other gameplay restrictions, while classic gamers may be turned off by hectic amount of enemies that often charge at you. I guess if you're into 80s classics that are difficult for the sake of being difficult, you'll probably enjoy what Thexder NEO is pushing (and hey, it's only $10).- Gaming Age

I know that, as a middle-aged man, I’m clearly not the target audience for a game about rebuilding your family estate and bonding with your horse. At the same time, though, I can’t imagine that the people who would be interested in that would want to put up with it, either. Horse Tales plays poorly and performs even worse, and it’s bound to disappoint anyone who picks it up.- Gaming Age

It’s entirely possible that Rustler is a lot better if you’ve played the original GTA games. But I doubt it. Between the lousy controls, the ugly graphics, and the all-around annoying gameplay, there’s really nothing here worthwhile.- Gaming Age

An upgraded, yet still very lacking, installment in the air combat series that continues to be outclassed by Namco’s efforts.- Gaming Age

There are glimpses of fun within each race. But the lack of race types, tracks, shoddy AI, and frame rate issues slow the fun down to a putter.- Gaming Age

It pains me to write reviews like this. I thought we were far beyond this point in the gaming industry to green light such tripe, let alone at a full price tag to boot. If this is the best that Codemasters can produce in the action genre, please, let's hope they stick to racing.- Gaming Age

What gets under your skin is that most of the combos are unblockable, and once you are caught in string of moves, you must wait until the move set is over before you can block or counter attack. This can be frustrating on both A.I. and human battles.- Gaming Age

The objectives are just too mundane for most people to care. Everblue 2 will only please you if you absolutely love treasure hunting.- Gaming Age

Really, the only reason to check out Squareboy vs Bullies: Arena Edition is if you’re absolutely desperate for some kind of beat-’em-up game on the go. Even then, and even at a minimal price point, it’s hard to imagine why you’d feel the need to bother with it.- Gaming Age

It’s too pretentious too ignore, too unforgiving to be intuitive, and too flawed to be truly realistic.- Gaming Age

A boring, repetitive, bad looking platformer that follows the same footsteps as everything released before it, and there is no real reason to give it a look. And if you think your kids might enjoy it, think again; it's sure to frustrate them to no end.- Gaming Age

If you've got the option to just check out the MMO, then I'd suggest that, because the portable version of the game certainly isn't worth your time.- Gaming Age

I realize I’m spending way too much time complaining about a game that’s only $5. But the fact is, this developer used to be a reliable source of fun, inexpensive retro-tinged games. As Slime’s Journey shows, lightUP’s games are still inexpensive and retro-tinged, but they’re certainly not very fun.- Gaming Age

It's a pretty standard, somewhat shallow multiplayer FPS, and in a time when you can hop onto games like QuakeLive - FOR FREE - it's hard to get enthusiastic about a game that doesn't really differentiate.- Gaming Age

Yes, the game manages to do some things right, as Tati and Griz provide a fast alternative to Rau and Bamusu's cumbersome combat, and yes, there are some enjoyable moments, but these are easily overshadowed by the frustration associated with the AI and overall lack of polish.- Gaming Age

So is it a bad game? No, but it's definitely not for everyone (despite the ESRB rating). Is it worth $9.99? No. Not objectively, anyway.- Gaming Age

There are only two reasons to purchase Bomberman: Atrocity…err Act Zero. Firstly, if you know enough people who will buy and play this game online, as it is already difficult to find opponents. And secondly, if you need to add the achievements to your Gamer Score.- Gaming Age

If it’s not fun or rewarding it, why bother playing it? While I’ve certainly played worse clicker games, that doesn’t make The Unexpected Quest significantly better, and it really doesn’t mean that you need to waste your time with it.- Gaming Age

The GameCube and Xbox versions outshine the PlayStation version by a wide margin. Textures, framerate and clarity are all done far better on the Xbox and Cube, while the PS2 suffers greatly from poor framerates, bland textures, and bad draw in.- Gaming Age

I like giant robots, I even like shooting giant robots, but Front Mission doesn't do much other than deliver that concept. The single player is uninspired, does nothing to build upon the franchise it's based off of, and the multiplayer isn't particularly fun unless you're willing to devote an inordinate amount of time to getting equipment that will make you a viable threat.- Gaming Age
