  1. The perfect example of a good game that just takes a bit too much from other games than it should.

Will quickly be overshadowed and fade into obscurity. [Nov 2002, p.134]

The difference between the two games is night and day, with "Mario Party 4" being the better of the two by a wide margin.
  4. The three boards are each a little on the dull side and the play mechanics are uninspired.
  5. Just another shallow party game.
  6. 49
Though it has the formula down, it has failed to capture the incentive to play and the depth to sustain continued play.
  7. Party game gone to hell thanks to its poor execution.

I wish this game was on GBA, but the GCN version was better than PS2 in my OPINION!

This game, although it has a lack of voices, is a very good game. Really!

Namco has some really cool characters but surprisingly none of them are seen here. Clearly, what you got here is a mario party rip-off. You Namco has some really cool characters but surprisingly none of them are seen here. Clearly, what you got here is a mario party rip-off. You travel a board collecting coins, tickets, and a bunch of other useless crap, and at the end you just want to waste your tickets on buying those very fun mini-games. Board game sucks...mini-games fun. Expand

Do not expect Pac Man eating dots. Otherwise it is fun when small children are part of the mix.

Just Another Bland Mario Party Ripoff
Like Sonic Shuffle, Pac-Man Fever tries WAY TOO hard to be like Mario Party and falls flat.
