It plays and looks like a game that could have been worth your time a few years ago, when most games had mediocre graphics and at least a few gameplay flaws.- Gaming Age

As a movie game goes, it could have been pretty decent if there was a larger variety of enemies and of course the game was about 4 times the length. As is, we have another movie licensed game that fails to deliver the goods.- Gaming Age

To make matters worse, if the ball falls down between the flippers players are often forced to start from scratch and many times replay the stage that they previously completed to get back to where they just were. Wash, rinse, and repeat.- Gaming Age

It's immediately obvious that a great labor was undertaken to create and maintain the art style throughout, but it's marred immediately by lazy game design that neither finds any synergy with the art nor shows any pride in the product.- Gaming Age

There's so much about this game that falls flat, and so much that feels like a quick cash-in attempt using the band name attached, that I can't suggest picking this up, certainly not at a full price point.- Gaming Age

Touch the Dead is a mixed bag—I like where the developers were going, but the end result is horrible. A simple remap of reloading to the L button could have improved the title tenfold, and a less random feeling damage system could have lead the game to greatness.- Gaming Age

As someone who’s averse to huge challenges in games, I’m not saying I want Where Angels Cry to become impossible, but it would have been nice for the game to show a little bit of life somewhere. Instead, we have a game that looks awful, sounds just as bad, and whose boring gameplay can’t make up for those drawbacks. Even if you go in with fairly low expectations, Where Angels Cry won’t manage to come close to clearing that low bar.- Gaming Age

Claybook is a massive chore to play. It clearly aspires to be so much more, but if you have any sense of wonder or creativity left after battling its controls and its camera, then you’re much more patient than I am.- Gaming Age

It's a great game for the DS, and well worth playing. Avoid the Wii version though, I can't really stress that enough.- Gaming Age

Don't pick this one up unless you're really hard up for a multiplayer game or until it drops to $19.99.- Gaming Age

I know that Visual novels aren’t the most demanding genre, but the good ones still reward you in some way, even if it’s just with an engaging story. The Language of Love doesn’t even have that, which means it’s very safe to skip it.- Gaming Age

The whole point of it is to titillate guys who, presumably, haven’t found a way around the filters their parents and/or the state put on their internet use. Expecting decent gameplay or characters is to miss the point entirely. But I also know that plenty of games have worked within those confines and still not sucked. Even by those standards, Gun Gun Pixies fails pretty miserably.- Gaming Age

There’s really no other way to describe this game as anything other than a middling Bomberman clone. There’s no story. The hero is a skeleton who has to escape a series of dungeons for…reasons. The graphics are vaguely retro, with no distinguishing features. The controls are as standard as they come, with the only thing that really stands out being the fact it’s awkward to move the eponymous hero around, which means that you’re going to needlessly die quite a few times. That said, you only die if you play, and there’s really no reason why you need to play Explosive Jake in the first place. As Bomberman clones go, it’s certainly one of them, and you’re better off just seeking out the original instead.- Gaming Age

The poor presentation and frustrating, buggy gameplay will turn off most of us who were looking for a way to recreate the landmark moments and atmosphere from a different era of sports entertainment.- Gaming Age

There's no entertainment in combing through a burning building for five victims or hunting down the twenty-three convicts that just escaped from a bus, especially after you've spent five minutes trying to find that last victim. More infuriating is when you finally find that last victim or bad guy, only to die and have to repeat the whole process.- Gaming Age

Ford Street Racing looks like a AAA game, has the features of a AAA game, but plays like a budget title that doesn't know its audience. With a little more time put into AI and physics, Ford Street Racing could easily be a game worth $30-$40.- Gaming Age

Unless you’re dying for achievements or are a fan of the films, there’s no reason to buy or even rent At World’s End. Instead, leave it to the films to do all the work for you, it’s easier and costs less.- Gaming Age

It's not like Star Trek: D-A-C is a bad game; it's just not good. The whole thing feels like a game design major threw together a game in Shockwave Flash over the weekend, threw the Star Trek name on it, and called it a day. It's not surprising for a licensed game, but still disappointing nonetheless.- Gaming Age

I really can’t recommend this game to anyone. It’s not a fun experience, it has very little to do with the movie, and is clearly an attempt at luring unsuspecting customers in to buy a game based on an excellent movie franchise.- Gaming Age

The Switch is not the right platform for Close to the Sun. The right platform would be one that could actually show what’s going on without it feeling like your console was about to burst into flames and melt down. If you do have one such non-Switch platform, you may be inclined to check this out, but if the Switch is your only option, steer very clear of Close to the Sun.- Gaming Age

It's a cute game, with monsters that would make excellent stuffed animals, but the execution is too childlike for adults and not intuitive enough for children.- Gaming Age

It’s just a lackluster experience from head to toe, and while I’d like to champion the idea of more unlikely releases making their way to North America, it’s really hard to do so when faced with a subpar release like Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers.- Gaming Age

The biggest problem I have with the game is the same thing that should have given it some replayability; making it through the obstacles isn't often very hard, but getting the required points doesn't always happen your first go through. Instead of getting addicted in that, 'oh man, I was so close' type of way, I just got slightly annoyed and bored.- Gaming Age

What I’m getting at is that there’s nothing that makes Grave Keeper in any way memorable. It’s not even bad. It’s just there, a game that’ll fill space on your memory card and give you nothing of value in return. There’s really no reason why you should even think about picking it up when you could play literally anything else instead.- Gaming Age

Honestly, it took me more time to write this review than it did to finish Donuts’n’Justice. If you feel like spending 20 minutes with a game you’ll forget within moments of finishing it, here’s the game for that, but I don’t see why you’d want to bother.- Gaming Age

The mission selection is definitely a bit different from previous games, and having the various encounters with potentially dangerous prey is a great idea, but the actual execution feels pretty lackluster here.- Gaming Age
