This whole game just offends me. Offends me more as a gamer than anything else.

Building up a powerful gang from nothing under the watchful eye of the man sounds like fun, but the process in Beat Down is shallow and tiresome.

If you’re going in expecting RBI Baseball 18 on the Switch to rival MLB The Show, you’ll be sorely disappointed. For that matter, if you’re hoping for a game to rival Super Mega Baseball 2 for arcade baseball action, you’ll be pretty disappointed. But if you go in just hoping for a baseball game that works, then — possibly for the first time ever — then it’s possible to say that RBI Baseball 18 does the job.

I wish I could wholeheartedly suggest checking out G.I. Joe Operation Blackout, but I don’t think a solid roster of playable characters and an enjoyable story is enough to put up with the lackluster gameplay.

Small Brawl could function as a gateway for younger kids interested in the series, but are not quite ready to tackle the difficulty of "Twisted Metal: Black."

Digimon and card battle fans will find a comprehensive game in DCB, but non-fans could be turned off by the digital world.

That "been there, done that" feeling comes more often than not, whether it's the cheesy bond-like story line and action sequences, the 'burnout' like stunt scenes, or simply the fact that this doesn't really feel like Spy Hunter at all, with the exception of a few race points.

    A decent home console version.

Control issues and poor voice acting mar what could have been a superlative title.

I had no expectations for it going in, but it shows immediately that it can do one thing exceptionally well. If they could have made a game that lived up to that — or even came close to living up to that — then it could’ve been worth playing. As it stands, though, it just feels like a lot of wasted potential.

Lasting around 7-10 hours, depending on how many side quests you do, Superman Returns may seem short to some but it is a perfect fit for this game's engine...Easily of the best Superman games to come along in quite some time.

Cut scenes are few and far between, and the dialogue is pretty short and doesn't do a great job of explaining what the hell is going on for any newcomers to the series. Everything I wanted to learn about the world of Lyoko I had to do by referring to the Internet, which isn't a great way of making your game appeal to the masses.

A bit of the same old song and dance provided by most shooter games on the market.

With only a small fraction of its forty-something mini-games playable to begin with, the higher difficulties and random game selection make the game a chore to play. Even if a player were to solely focus on the good or decent games, they would still be bored after thirty minutes.

Overall I can't really recommend I am Bread. Like Bossa Studios' previous title, Surgeon Simulator, the frustration between controls and camera just overpowers the sense of humor it tries to have.

I personally preferred the standard controls found on the PS2, PS3, and 360 to the Wii controls, which felt a bit too imprecise to work effectively.

The game falls not only short of expectation, but also below what this great team is capable of.

The horrible design of the levels, combined with the control issues of the numerous vehicles, mean that even when the game is at its best, it's still not doing all that well. An incredibly lackluster.

The game is fun whether you are playing in small doses or a long sit-down marathon as there is plenty to do, see, and kill along the way. The best part of it all is that it retails for under 30 bucks! That is like a dollar an hour considering that's about how long it will take to find and do everything.

While Restricted Area has some bright spots in terms of innovated ideas, you just can’t help but get that old, been there done that feeling while you are playing. The lack of any real plot will not help matters much more.

Another downer is there is no reason to take another journey, as there are no rewards or accomplishments to be made, unless you just have to get that extra gallon of blood... err... oil.

If you are looking for some quirky fun or something for your tween who giggles at words like fanny and likes teen idols and billboard charts, then Brooktown High may be that perfect get away all you parents are looking for on a cross country ride. Everyone else just hit a club or bar and use the money for buying someone a drink so they can be that someone special for the night.

The problem stems from the fact that you can be knocked off of the platform, and if that happens it's instant death, which means restarting the entire boss fight.

Combine the relatively poor visuals with monotonous level designs, and you'll find yourself in the middle of a level with no real visual cues of where you are within the level.

Really, though, there’s no reason why you should put up with a kart-racer that’s merely fine when you have so many other better options out there, most of which are just as suitable for the demographic Race with Ryan is aiming for.
