If you're a Vita completist like me, of course, it's well worth the investment, since it's enjoyable enough to be worthwhile, but otherwise, I'd suggest proceeding with no small degree of caution.- Gaming Age

It seems more like an anachronism from 10, 15, or even 20 years ago than like a game that's rooted in the present day, but seeing as there aren't a whole lot of other games like this coming out now (and, as Natural Doctrine shows, those that are coming out are nothing to write home about), it makes it easy to say that God Wars: Future Past is worth checking out if you've got an itch for tactical RPGs.- Gaming Age

It’s clearly a game worth investigating if you’re fond of farming sims that ask you to keep lots of plates spinning at any given moment. But truthfully, it doesn’t do anything for me.- Gaming Age

Cursed to Golf is designed to challenge you, frustrate you, and punish you – and even if real golf does that, this game takes it to a whole other level. If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t usually give sports games a second glance but loves difficulty ramped up to an insane degree, this should be the one sports game you make an exception for.- Gaming Age

Fatal Frame has made me realize the company is definitely capable of producing fresh gameplay experiences that have the ability to thrill, chill and generally scare the bejeebus out of us.- Gaming Age

Very entertaining, very playable, and very pretty...it just does not feel very next gen when the meat of the game is concerned.- Gaming Age

It falls a bit short in terms of features and replay when compared to other similar-style games, but it makes up for some of that with atmosphere and story.- Gaming Age

I certainly found Shadow Warrior to be a really fun throwback to not only the original game, but ‘90’s FPS titles in general.- Gaming Age

The Quarry is a fantastic time but personally it’s a tough sell at $70 retail. I don’t see many replaying more than a couple times, and that’s really if you have connected enough with the story to go through again. The game could use some quality-of-life improvements like a scene skip once you complete the game, and overall this is a game for fans of this genre and those looking to have a unique experience that isn’t gameplay driven.- Gaming Age

All together, Star Ocean: The First Departure is a great remake of a title that we've never had released here, and it's a welcome addition to anyone's PSP RPG library.- Gaming Age

Overall Blues and Bullets Episode 2 is more of the same, literally every bit of gameplay from the first episode is carried over to the second.- Gaming Age

With a storyline that captivates, graphics that stand out from the crowd, the Hulk is a licensed game that certainly doesn’t embarrass itself from a presentation standpoint.- Gaming Age

If you can’t get your hands on Capcom vs. SNK for the DC, this is your game. The gameplay is wholly intact. It’s just not as pretty as its original counterpart.- Gaming Age

An amazing game, until the point where the initial impact of the pretty visuals wears off. What's left is a very average playing mission based driving title with not much in the line of long term replayability.- Gaming Age

Syndicate may not be the game that fans of the original were hoping for many years later, but sci-fi and shooter fans will be pleased with the overall execution of not only the story, but also the weapon techniques, game play, and co-op fun. It will provide them with enough depth and complexity to the FPS genre that it will make its own mark among similar games and never be mistaken for just another sci-fi shooter. The story may not be fresh and original, but the game play ideas, co-op action, and visual stylings sure are, which at least deserves your attention and admiration even if you haven't had this title in your sights.- Gaming Age

The biggest drawback to NHL 2k8 is the new controls. Even if you want to grow into them, it’s not worth it. Fortunately, you can turn them off and get on with your day, so there’s not much downside. 2k8 still plays a smooth, exciting and fun game of hockey.- Gaming Age

Despite the technical hiccups, Afterparty is certainly worth your time. I don’t see much of a reason to pick up the Switch version over the previous releases necessarily, but it at least seems on par with other consoles. So yeah, check out Afterparty if you haven’t already, I really, really enjoyed it.- Gaming Age

Sonic Colors: Ultimate is exactly what it claims to be, an Ultimate version of an already decent Sonic title. Many gamers dismissed it the first time, but if you are a Sonic fan, you owe it to yourself to check this one out. Blind Squirrel Games did an excellent job, changing what needed to be changed and leaving what worked originally intact. Super fun, challenging, and reasonably priced (even for the deluxe edition), this is a perfect title to celebrate Sonic The Hedgehog’s 30th anniversary.- Gaming Age

It’s a love letter to gaming – as in, a love letter to almost every genre you can think of – and it’s designed to look like someone drew it up in a notebook, which only adds to the charm. It’s all over the place, but if you want something unlike anything else, this is the game you’re after.- Gaming Age

I definitely feel like if you own a PS3, then you owe it to yourself to check out Tokyo Jungle. It's a game that is almost literally a diamond in the rough, with some so-so visuals and lackluster presentation that doesn't instantly grab the casual observer, but if you manage to sit down with the game for a half hour or so, I think you'll find yourself hooked.- Gaming Age

Overall, I think Metro Awakening VR is a worthy VR experience and a good Metro game, but it is not particularly groundbreaking on either front. I am thrilled to see more mainstream AAA titles getting VR releases that are more than just tacked-on afterthoughts. The quality that Metro Awakening manages to display is more than enough to justify other developers looking into making similar games and perhaps even a low-risk way to revive some other dormant franchises in VR (Resistance, please, I’m begging you). I hope to see more of this type of VR title in the future and am happy to see the medium continue to move forward.- Gaming Age

In addition to the quality content that Warlords of New York delivers upfront, there is an entire year of further additions planned. The Division 2 looks like it is going to be following the seasonal model that had become so popular recently, and players who purchase Warlords of New York will have access to Season 1 content for free, with later seasons requiring additional purchases. The knee-jerk reaction might be a bit negative, with the paid seasons splitting a lot of gamers 50/50, but if they continue to deliver quality content updates like they have with Warlords of New York, the paid seasons will probably end up being more than worth it.- Gaming Age
