Just as you are beginning to be entertained by Kororinpa, its all over. Frankly this would have been better placed as a budget release as outside of the main mode you only have a standard two player offering or the option to beat your previous best time.

Heavily reliant on survival, Konami have stripped the game of fun and presented you with something that's too realistic for its own good.

While it will easily thrill Potter fans, it also provides an above average distraction for those curious about the series, or looking for a release that integrates the Wii remote with some reasonable success.

Ultimately, SimCity DS feels like a compromise, with none of its features really sitting comfortably on Nintendo’s handheld.

Sky Force represents good value and is fun and challenging. However it isn't without its faults, with maybe an option to turn auto-fire on and off being a nice addition. In the main though this is another excellent addition to the Minis library, which continues to produces excellent titles, yet continues to be very under-rated.

It's great to have the chance to experience these games all over again, the world is a better place with Toejam & Earl in it.

None of the stress matters in the end, though. All that you care about is getting Baby back to mummy, and the excited grinning and hopping she does after you navigate a tricky segment together is worth every moment of frustration along the journey.

The game is unpretentious and makes no apologies for being exactly what it wants to be - and that is a game with a beautifully crafted storyline, intriguing characters, plenty of humour, and everything you want from an RPG. Forget the naysayers, this is really a class act.

Earth Defence Force 2017 then is a rarity that comes along far too infrequently. A cheap game that sacrifices graphical flare for good old fun and destruction. Well worth the asking price.

Overall, Tower of Guns starts out showing some strong promise that it could be an excellent little blaster. However, the more time you spend with it the more the lack of depth and variety begins to become a problem.

The Conduit has the best controls of any First Person Shooter on the Wii by far. It would be unfair to say that this is not supported by a decent single-player campaign or online multiplayer, but The Conduit is certainly lacking in these areas.

There is a lot to like about this trip down memory lane, but really Duke Nukem 3D just feels like a relic from a bygone era. While we would welcome back some of the classic FPS design traits, the rest is best left in the past.

Draw Slasher isn’t a system seller, but it doesn’t claim to be. What it is though is the sort of game that the system needs, quick pick up games that made iOS as successful as it is today. At £3.99 it does seem expensive when compared to the 69p types on iOS, but you will easily get more than your money’s worth.

It’s not exceptional enough to demand your time or money above the billion other games vying for your attention, but nowhere near being awful as to want to stomp into paste and fire into the sun, never to darken your door again.

We really do believe it’s a step in the right direction for the much-maligned franchise, and contains a lot of elements that feel like real ‘Sonic’ moments. However, it proves to be as frustrating as it is fun, with several flaws that interfere with one’s enjoyment of the game.

Swarm is far from perfect, with often frustrating moments, but once again XBLA comes through and gives a game that offers something a little different a market in which it can flourish. At 800 Points there is no reason not to jump in and enjoy all that Swarm has to offer.

Overall Rayman 3 HD isn't anything new, it is however a worthy re-release of decent platform game. Whether you played the original back in 2003 or not, it is a game worth picking up, especially if you are a fan of platformers.

Overall, I Am Alive is a fantastic achievement for a downloadable title. It manages to achieve a feeling of survival that not many have managed to achieve. It tells a story really well and the end of each chapter keeps you wanting more and makes you want to push on.
