Visually spectacular and mechanically solid from moment to moment, but fundamentally flawed.- Gamestyle

Lollipop Chainsaw reminds us of a time when games weren't trying to be gritty and realistic, when they didn't take themselves seriously, before games were all about making money and sticking to the fundamentals. There isn't any new ground being broken here, but what we do have is a game that will give you more fun than anything else out this year.- Gamestyle

Overall, Tengami is unashamedly the game it wants to be and there is little compromise to players that might not get it.- Gamestyle

The potential for Guerrilla to develop a truly impressive FPS title on the PS2 is obviously there, but it's a learning curve that players won't be scaling anytime soon. The PS2's answer to "Halo"? Don't make us laugh.- Gamestyle

Trying to maintain that balance between strategy and traditional role playing is ultimately its undoing, as it fails to fully deliver on either front.- Gamestyle

Kintaro's Revenge is a highly likable and fun game that adds something extra to the template of the forgotten genre, the sideways scrolling beat 'em up.- Gamestyle

It is easy to see that the gap between Playstation 2 and Xbox is beginning to stretch. Rainbow Six 3 is a solid game, but in this shape and form a sense of disappointment is hard to avoid.- Gamestyle

After completing Beyond: Two Souls it’s understandable why this is one of the most divisive games around. Even now it’s difficult to say whether we enjoyed it or not, it’s certainly an interesting game, and does have some nice ideas. So despite a story that feels disjointed, tonally uneven and a mid-section that feels completely out of place, it’s something that is different enough from the norm that maybe, just maybe it’s worth picking up.- Gamestyle

Usually it would be said that a game such as this is spoiled by some poor game mechanics, however, Alice: Madness Returns' gameplay is completely forgiven as the story-telling, and creative direction take you on a magical, yet dark and disturbing journey that you never want to leave. It is the type of game that reminds of why you fell in love with gaming in the first place a proper break from reality.- Gamestyle

Overall there is much to enjoy within Hydrophobia Prophecy, which in its new guise remains a mixed experience. With its attractive price currently on the PlayStation Network, Hydrophobia Prophecy offers more value than many current releases.- Gamestyle

Killer7 represents an original and highly risky concept that could have gone horribly wrong; but due to the skill of the development team we have a highly innovative and visually visceral title that pushes both our senses and the boundaries of what we consider a game to be.- Gamestyle

The core focus of Homefront is online but with rival releases doing this just as well if not better, there isn't any real incentive. A fun rental perhaps, but spend your money elsewhere and you'll thank us.- Gamestyle

In conclusion, Rainbow Moon is a very good effort. Although the story isn't quite as gripping as it could have been, the substance is spot on. Rainbow Moon has a perfect learning curve, with a great balance of gradually easing in new abilities, and giving the player a chance to get the hang of them.- Gamestyle

Shadow Warrior is a game that you simply must own, because it represents a by gone era where videogames didn’t take themselves at all seriously. And we all need a bit of fun in our lives.- Gamestyle
