A truly groundbreaking experience is not the mish-mash of clues, uninspired fireworks and quite appealing story with a rather lame ending - but for answering difficult questions, you have to beat The Sinking City more than just on the back.

A very dynamic game. The fights are challenging, the puzzles and skill tests are entertaining. Sure, most of the gameplay elements have been taken from other games, but that doesn't hurt. If you are looking for a good action game, you'll have fun for sure. We just missed a combo counter.

The fusion of real-time strategy with tower defense rules works surprisingly well.

Surprisingly good compared to Sniper Elite 2 and great fun for sniper fans.

Quite an usual game. Changing landscapes may sound dull, but it's amanzingly motivating due to the great physics. It's a shame that the presentation is quite dry and the game may be too difficult for beginners.

It takes quite some time to get into the game and a lot of it will be spent loading saved games, but once you're over that stage, Hired Guns offers a lot of fun. The game feels like a graphically enhanced Jagged Alliance 2, which isn't bad - quite the opposite. Hired Guns has its weaknesses, but is appealing nontheless.

The Witcher could have been a much better roleplaying game if it wasn't for it's long loading times, unnecessary traveling, uncomfortable handling and bugs.

Endless Dungeon is a strategically challenging genre mix, but it only reaches its full potential in co-op.

If I had tried to play this in my spare time, I would have given up after a few hours. Until then it's just confusing. But as a tester I had to play on and later on it's much better, more diverse and a motivating story.

RPG fans who have the stamina and who are after a singleplayer role-playing game that does not rely on the old-school could still have fun with Greedfall and should give it a chance. And even if it is only to love the extraordinary world design.

Currently, I still hope that a simple replacement function for user-generated challenges or even entire campaigns will be available again.

A scaled-down Stellaris look-alike with Star Trek flair that would have deserved more love and scale.

It's longer, funnier and more diverse than the first game, so it's simply better. But we really want to see a better character system – or more of that kind of humor in Diablo 3.

Fun village builder in a well-made historical setting. However, the game suffers from heavy grind and a lack of endgame variety.

It looks good, it's cool to play, but the singleplayer feels stretched and there are not enough different opponents to balance this.

It has strong points like stealth gameplay and co-op, but all in all it's just average. A focus on stealth would have been better.

It's quite similar to Panzer Corps but it's still fun to hit the orcs and their boss Ghazghkull Thraka right between the horns.

The hotseat mode manages to capture the boardgame atmosphere for a fair price. But don't expect a complex strategy game.

Tempest means storm, the name says it all: if you venture in, you'll experience a unique adventure or you will be blown away by the wind.

It's a great mix of a classic detective movie, science fiction and a post-nuclear world with lots of weird characters.

At its core, this is a fantastic port oft he Alien franchise into gaming. However, the almost too-strong Alien can be frustrating at times.

Fortunately, the accessibility of Halfway provides an easy introduction.
