Doom VFR is a short but entertaining hellride. But the bloody VR fun lacks the ease and elegance of the original.

An atmospheric medieval excursion whose narrative ends far too abruptly.

The single-player campaign is only eight hours long, but full of spectacular and varied scenes. It's a lot of fun, but too linear, and the use of generic weapons, imprecise controls and inconsistent graphics show a lack of fine-tuning.

The underlying principle is indestructible, but compared to its predecessors, the F2P restart disappoints with a lack of content and improvements.

Soccer fans can't ignore FC 26 – but despite some innovations, it's still only a small step forward.

Compared to the ageless original, Back in Action is indeed not a milestone of the genre - but it's certainly a solid tactical game. Because the plan & go mode works, the selection of mercenaries and weapons is huge and I'm engaged for weeks with the liberation of Arulco.

It’s like a mediocre clone of the Splinter Cell games, but not as good as far as level design or free roaming are concerned. But the story is captivating and it's a refreshing change from all those WW2 action games.

Seen purely as a game Valiant Hearts is average at best. But it's not just a game, but an interactive and therefore sustained-history lesson about one of the darkest chapters in human history.

Star Trek fans can't miss this experience, but the lacking content and some problems leave a bad taste in our mouths.

Although this foundation is stable enough for a big game, it actually shakes tremendously in the higher floors.

It may look a bit dry and Whitechapel could have been filled with more life, but it's fun to hunt Jack the Ripper with both Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. Watson is more than just a sidekick this time, even though both heroes are played quite similar. The best Sherlock Holmes game from Frogwares so far.

Life as a caravan leader is tough and demands a lot of time. Vagrus masterfully tells a story, but it suffers from technical issues.

I was initially a little put off. The optics of Jazz Punk are primitive, the humor is anything but subtle. First, the gags seemed to me abundant infantile. But the longer I played, I had more pleasure in the game worlds in discovering all the jokes and some ideas from the developers that are just awesome.

The developers' love for detail, which is apparent in the characters of the Jericho team, is missing otherwise: the levels are linear and sometimes monotonous, the enemies always act the same way.

Great setting, but it's more or less another Call of Duty clone with some nice ideas. But everything feels like the game just had to be released, so a lot of potential hasn't been realised yet. Maybe that's something for the sequel.

DSC: Black Shark is full of technical details and you should read the 488 pages of the PDF manual, because the tutorials only show a handful of the functions. It's a tough and realistic simulation with 130 missions and a mission editor and especially fun in co-op missions over LAN or the internet.

To have fun with this game, there need to be a lot of players and able commanders. If you find some with matching abilities, the game is extremely entertaining. But that's a rare case.
