The minigames luckily do ramp up at least a bit in terms of challenge and offer a fun little distraction if you don't go in expecting anything groundbreaking. However, we can't overlook the steep pricing when comparing price vs. amount and quality of content. So only the most ardent Pokémon fans as well as smaller kids might really enjoy this for longer than a handful of hours.

Reigns: The Witcher neatly combines the two Franchises and delivers another worthy entry in the now decade-old Reigns franchise. With plenty of Witcher source material to work with, this entertains for hours, as the formula works as good as we have come to expect.

The combat system is outstanding, and the barrenness of the game world can be considered stylish. However, the uninspired story, off-the-shelf characters, and a lot of downtime between battles are annoying. Lost Soul Aside feels like a sturdy and well-oiled skeleton that someone forgot to flesh out. So you constantly swing between enjoying the challenging monster duels and being annoyed by the many incomprehensible shortcomings that suggest the game should have just been finished at some point.

Flint: Treasure of Oblivion combines strategy role-playing gameplay with pen and paper elements - and it works! However, as a player you have to teach yourself a lot, the fights lack oomph and some aspects of the game are unfortunately not intuitive.

Wreckreation is obviously the most ambitious project of Three Fields Entertainment yet. It shows but unfortunately mostly in bad or boring ways. While the cars control alright and the placement of new track elements is great everything else falls off. You can never outdrive the other racers, no matter how good you perform. The crash sequences when wrecking other cars more often than not end in complete disaster and the world itself isn’t exciting either.

Dream weddings guaranteed! Numerous planning freedoms and many details fit perfectly into the game. Nevertheless the game mechanics for weddings from other cultures could have been even more extensive.

With minor swabs the Saints Row reboot maintains the madness of the series, delivering entertaining, effectfull action and humorous cutscenes and dialogue with a myriad pop cultural references. It is still not on eye level with GTA, but especially concerning customization of characters, cars or weapons, Saints Row sets a new standard for the genre.

Despite a very rough start and many technical issues is Sonic Frontiers a game that we thoroughly enjoyed. It may very well be an odd form of Stockholm syndrome, being enchanted by the cringe-worthy voice acting, the absurd story, all mixed with some of the best gameplay flow the sonic games ever had in the third dimension. As soon as some of the big boss battles hit, the game shows that it’s much more than just a cheap imitation of Breath of the Wild. A full recommendation however isn’t possible with the technical state the game released in. A few patches are desperately needed for fix some of the glitches and underwhelming textures and animations.

The premise of taking over a hobbit hole, making friends, and enjoying cozy activities like fishing, gardening, and cooking is highly promising. Unfortunately, tasks often feel like monotonous chores, characters remain silent, and the game world only partially convinces. As such, this title is best suited for die-hard fans, while everyone else would be better off with alternatives like Story of Seasons or Animal Crossing.

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Da" is a wonderful entry point for newcomers to the legendary games series, which very skilfully captures the flair of its anime original time and again. However, old-fashioned game and level design keep the action RPG from unfolding its full potential.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The concept of open combat areas in particular sounded promising. Unfortunately have to say that our expectations were clearly too high. And while the new Zombies mode is a mixed bag, versus-multiplayer remains good fun - thanks to small but wise gameplay changes and lots of content and modes. However, if you were hoping for fewer remake-maps and a wealth of new combat scenarios, you should look elsewhere.

Fate Seeker II is simply overwhelming in most aspects. With 20 fighting styles that each sport an enormous amount of attacks and combos, a plethora of side activities and a main story with more important characters than I could count it is just a lot. But a lot of this works surprisingly well despite all of this. The puzzles and investigations are especially great as is the main story and its cast once you start to see how everything and everyone is connected in one way or another. Unfortunately the combat itself is mostly dull, the English translation feels a bit shoddy and the technical aspects are middling at best. And yet it is an oddly compelling title that offers an interesting look at a different type of game from China.

Big Helmet Heroes is colorful and has some very cute character designs. Unfortunately otherwise it is a pretty shallow button masher. The different heroes play mostly the same and have almost no depth to them. Especially in later levels it also becomes hard to keep track of your character, especially if you are playing with another person and there are a lot of enemies on the screen all using multicolored attacks.

The idea for Drag x Drive is clearly inspired by Rocket League. Nintendo makes a unique and entertaining sports game out of it, that delivers a neat use of mouse and motion controls of the Joy-Con 2. But although it's much more than a clone, the game can't nearly reach its apparent template, especially concerning adaptability and other individualization options.

Dolmen is a solid yet at times flawed Science-Fiction- Soulslike, that lacks the polish and the pure impact of Elden Ring, Dark Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. While it brings interesting gameplay-ideas to the tables, the overall experience is harmed by either bugs or strange design-decisions.

Endless Ocean Luminous is less a game than an experience. If you want to explore the diverse ocean life in a very relaxed manner, you might be strongly tied up to the atmosphere. But if you want to be challenged at least at a minimum level, this is nothing you need to play.

While Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League isn't a complete failure, such as other recent Live-Service titles, the game's repetitive design and missed story opportunities can't match the quality and staying power of Rocksteady's previous games. Combat can be fun in short bursts, but quickly becomes stale and even the above-average loot and equipment systems can't prevent a burnout on the extremely shallow end-game.

Gangs of Sherwood is the definition of a one-trick pony. Its colorful and entertaining battles weaving the abilities and attacks of up to 4 players together are not just unique but also very fun to play. Sadly anything outside of combat fails to really leave much of an impression. The setting in a science-fantasy version of Nottingham definitely had potential, but little of it actually was used effectively. Instead the final product hides its most fun parts behind a wall of generic mediocrity. Those willing to stick with the game and bringing friends along will still have a wonderful time despite obvious flaws.

Unknown 9 suffers from technical hick-ups and gameplay-imbalances. Stealth is fun, but too easy for veterans. Handling and combat turn out stiff. Yet again, Unknown 9 can be satisfying and motivating and delivers a fresh setting.

The humor and the stylish transition of South Park into the third dimension are two things, most fans will like. Unfortunately behind that, Snow Day isn't a good game. The co-op action is not totally free of fun, but the lack of diverse gameplay and especially the absence of precise controls make it a game, even South Park fans do not need to play.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood might not be the best adaption of the franchise possible, but Cyanide still proves having notion of the pen & paper rpg. The core competence of the game is the spectacular and bloody beast action. Although there are some balance issues, poor AI and undistinguished graphics, the game is worth playing not only for Werewolf fans.

Gungrave has an eventful and largely glorious history. G.O.R.E. is a technical retread, from which you shouldn't expect too many surprises in terms of story - as well as gameplay. But that doesn't have to be a bad thing, especially since the fans know what they're being offered here: spectacular over-the-top action with hail of bullets and explosions foreman non-stop. That's exactly what we came for.

It saddens us to see a game with such potential, fall so far from grace. The gunplay and weapon variety kept us coming back for more, but every time we played one of the mind-numbingly boring side missions to grind for the expensive upgrades, we regretted our decision to turn on the console. Some aspects are fixable, no doubt and eventually Necromunda: Hired Gun might be worth your time. Reviewing the product at hand though,we cannot recommend Necromunda: Hired Gun above pretty much any other shooter that came out in recent memory. It sadly seems the Warhammer curse has claimed another victim.

The Nintendo Switch version of the Farming Simulator brings some of the new features of its "big brother“ like seasons or production chains on a lowered level. Beside that and some new comfort features, that simultaneously reduce your freedom, the game is a disappointment not just concerning its weak quality into graphics and performance. If you're a fan of the series, you might be able to overlook some of the issues, but impossibly all of them.

Arkane Studio's Redfall stretches the very definition of what a finished game should be. It's unfinished, unpolished and uninspired in almost every regard. It feels like a dye prototype years from a full release. The few moments of Arkane's magic, when visual design of the vampires, some fun weapons and frantic co-op gameplay come together are quickly overshadowed by catastrophic bugs, bad performance and an empty-lifeless shell of a game.
