The third entry in the OPUS franchise is an absolute joy and a must-play for anybody who enjoys an emotional story coupled with adventure gameplay. It's well worth the asking price and will take you on a trip that will keep you captivated for 10-15 hours.

Just like Her Story and Telling lies before it, Immortality tells a well-executed and thrilling story that unfolds before your eyes as you play. Unless you are an action-addict, you owe it to yourself to play Immortality and uncover the fragmented plot that hides underneath it all.

Children of Silentown is a spooky, socially critical point-and-click adventure from Daedalic. Lucy discovers on her adventure the truth behind the monsters, who live in the nearby forest, but will be left with many open questions in the end. The highlight of the game is the graphic design and her cat Squinty.

With its clever spin on the classic formula, the various modes and the high score chases, Wavecade makes for a very enjoyable entry in the Shmup-Genre. The flashy presentation and good controls also help distinguish Wavecade from the pack in a positive way.

If Super Stickman Golf and Hotline Miami had a baby, it would probably be this game. The dark tone, the fast-paced gameplay and the well-executed game mechanics make Madness/Endless a game well-worth experiencing.

Two Point Campus: School Spirits is a fun little addon to the main game. Playstyle, music, humor remains all the same and is still awesome. Sadly there is only one new campus and a new challenge to play, so after a few hours you are already done. Cool for fans of the series, not a must-buy for everyone else.

The goal seems simple at first, but Stuffo manages to keep the player engaged through well-designed puzzles and new mechanics that are added over time. An easy recommendation for puzzle fans with more content on the way.

At the end of the day, Across the Valley is a tech demo to show a newcomer to VR. There is no material for long-term motivation and therefore it is not recommended except as a showcase.

While the story campaign starts quite interesting, it quickly looses a lot of momentum due to lots of boring standard quests, way too many battles which aren’t challenging at all and a general lack of surprises. On the other hand the dungeons and boss battles are fun, the upgrade system is full of possibilities, cross platform progression works well and playing through the campaign at an acceptable speed is totally possible without any micro transactions. The latter however become much more relevant in arena mode.

Pocket City 2 is a really well-rounded title that improves upon its predecessor in many ways. It's not the deepest game in its genre, but it offers fun game mechanics that will keep you playing and also offers some nice extra features.

Honkai manages to delight in many different ways, from its mechanics to the world-building to the superb anime-like presentation. Yes, the F2P elements are there, but at least for now, there is a ton of fun to be had in Honkai without having (or being forced) to spend any real life cash.

While the gameplay concept may sound boring on paper, the laid-back nature of the game along with the charming presentation and all the content updates that have been added over the years make sure that now is as good a time as any to try out Stardew Valley+ on Apple Arcade.

Ron Gilbert and his team deliver exactly what fans were hoping for, an old-school adventure that doesn't try to reinvent the wheel and instead focuses on a quirky story and characters, fun puzzles and the much-beloved Monkey island humor. This is an absolute no-brainer for any fan of point and click adventures.

Two Point Campus: Medical School feels like a smaller, less complex version of Two Point Hospital. If you feel nostalgic or if you are a huge fan of the series, it might be worth it but otherwise you might want to wait for a more creative, standalone add-on to this amazing simulation game.

Unpacking is a game that sounds boring on paper, and even though its mechanics are so limited, it still manages to tell a captivating story through its gameplay. In addition, it's the perfect zen game if you ever need a break from the loud, fast world out there.

Black Skylands follows modern Open World design a little too closely sometimes and relies on resource collecting, outpost clearing and repetitive side quests a little too often. Nonetheless the core gameplay is fun, and the presentation of the pixelated world is charming. Due to the gameplay remaining largely the same throughout its runtime, this is best enjoyed in smaller sessions and some breaks in between.

While Endless Dungeon can be a blast in cooperative Multiplayer, the game lacks anything truly new or outstanding for this very popular genre. The tactical mix of tower defense, strategic exploration and traditional twin-stick shooting can be entertaining, but for solo players there’s just too many better, more interesting choices to play out there. This is one to delve in deep with a friend or two!

Tintin Reporter could have been a solid mixture of Adventure and action game. But there is not just a huge number of minor bugs and continuous performance issues that separates the game from a neat score. There are also some fatal bugs leading to an explicit warning not to buy Tintin Reporter until the crucial problems might have been solved.

With the so called Premium Edition of Farming Simulator 22 players gain the complete package with any DLC that has been released since the launch of the main game in November 2021. There is a lot of stuff in it you can easily expand with quiet a lot mods even on consoles. But the weak points stay the same especially concerning the partly bad player guidance or the poor physics engine. A good farming simulation, but still not a perfect one.

Going through the procedurally generated levels, blasting away enemies and picking up items only to lose them again in typical rogue-like fashion doesn't get old with this 2023 iteration of Downwell on Apple Arcade.
