The story is rich, the world is very believable and the gameplay is near flawless. It's been a long time since I played a game this good.

While Zelda Advance is really two games on one cartridge, each is brilliant and very solid in its own right.

Roughly twice as long as any Metroid game to date. The in-game clock doesn't count time spent scanning, looking at the map and replaying areas after dying, which would actually make the game three or four times longer than any Metroid game.

It drew me into the world of Clock Town unlike any game I've played before, including "Ocarina." This could be the last truly legendary title for the Nintendo 64.

Its scope and complexity is lightyears ahead of the competition and it sets a benchmark that many, possibly even Rare itself, will struggle to reach in the years to come.

Miyamoto has touched WR64 with his golden hand, and with beautiful graphics, immaculate gameplay, and some of the best replay value for a racer out there it's a title not to be passed up.

The game is bigger and deeper than previous incarnations. The core gameplay is still the same, but now there's a lot more to it.

Fans of N64 and PC games used to compare Goldeneye to games such as "Half Life," which is remarkable because Goldeneye was not only older, but running on hardware that was vastly inferior to a $2500 PC.

As it is, the sound is very good, but with earphones, it's simply phenomenal.

The graphics are pretty close to those of the PS 2 version but clearly some optimizations should have been made for GameCube hardware. The game generally runs fluidly, but slowdown and framerate problems rear their ugly heads noticeably from time to time.

While the single-player mode may get a little tiring, playing Exhibition mode against your friends is always going to be a blast.

Simply put, NBA 2K3 is the best basketball game ever made.

The level to which you can control and customize the game is astounding and when you couple that with the easy to use MapMaker you'll see why TS2 may just be the best console FPS of the year.

One of the true great puzzle games of recent years. Easy to pick up and play, and challenging enough for a puzzle game veteran.

A touch on the short and easy side, but other than that you're looking at a remake of a wonderful classic made far better by incredible graphics and presentation, as well as numerous extras and multiplayer features.

Don't care for golf? Give Mario Golf a try anyway. It is an incredibly well crafted game, and it is one of the deepest sports games available. Even for those of us who would rather undergo all sorts of pain rather than pick up a set of golf clubs, Mario Golf is a blast to play.

Hell, on the GameCube, nothing compares to NBA 2K2.

I really got into "THPS 3" and I'm happy to report that THPS 4 is a better game in every possible way.

An improved version of the SNES game. It takes the same gameplay, the same controls, and the same modes and puts them into the 3D worlds made possible by the Nintendo 64.

This game does some things really poorly, and others exceptionally well...Just be careful... it could take over your REAL life.

A great RPG, one of the best for any system. If you've never played the original on the Dreamcast, buy Legends immediately.

It is undeniably one of the best looking games ever made for any platform, period. The sound and music are appriopriately spooky.

Hardcore Metroid fanatics may be turned off by the way the navigation computer holds your hand through most of the game, but all others will find an expertly crafted adventure title.

Simple addicting gameplay and graphics ranging from nice to outstanding are wonderful to behold, but the absence of a keyboard seriously hurts the online play and community.

This is one game that truly is timeless, and it shines on the Game Boy Advance as one of the best games on the system.

The new multiplayer games, except for Monkey Tennis, don't really measure up to the originals, but they are, afterall, just icing on the cake.

While not necessarily breaking down walls in innovation, Banjo-Kazooie takes us down a path we've been before and makes the ride a whole lot smoother.

MLB fanatics will fall in love with the amount of detail and the realism of the game that is presented.

Mario creates another new genre and further demonstrates why the N64 is the system for party animals. The first game of it's kind … for groups of three or four people, though, Mario Party is a Nintendo 64 classic.

One of those games that will last a while and provide the same thrill a year from now as it does today.

It faithfully reproduces what was one of the best surprises of the GameCube launch in almost every respect!

My first and only gripe about the game is the learning curve on the game's controls.

This game is packed with extras and most importantly, actually allows you to play as Sonic through the entire game, something sorely lacking from the Sonic Adventure series.

Uses a password save feature, which is somewhat disappointing. The graphics are bright and colorful and the music doesn't stick out and distract from the game.

Quite a solid game, with a sharp, stylized presentation and action-packed gameplay, all stuffed with various ways to get a person to spend entirely too much time staring at the television.

The difficulty is a bit high if you've never played a Ghosts game before, but the new save feature should help alleviate this problem. I'd say that so far this is far and away the BEST SNES port to reach the GBA yet.

The addition of multiplayer (and co-op even) really extends the shelf life of a rather good puzzle game.

When it comes down to it, Chu Chu delivers on almost all fronts.

It would have been nice to see an automap feature for the dungeons in PS1, but all things considered, PS Collection is one of the best compilation titles to hit the GBA yet.

Egg Mania isn’t the best puzzle game around but it is one of the most original and is visually appealing.

It's true that the sixteen character password is annoying, but it's a great game nonetheless. The mixture of great graphics and gameplay make this game very enjoyable.

It has nearly the exact same feel as the full-fledged console versions.

Definitely worth the purchase despite a cliché plot, Golden Sun is visually and aurally impressive. A deep game that should offer a bare minimum of 30 hours of gameplay.

Sure, there could have been a few more monsters included, sure the areas could have been a bit larger, but these are mere quibbles to the fun had in this game.

Provides an outstanding experience, and one I never thought possible on a handheld.

SMW:SMA2 doesn't push the GBA by any means, it certainly doesn't matter in this case.

Not as good a game as "Circle of the Moon" when all is said and done. Yes, it's generally easier on the eyes, but the somewhat dull level layouts, constant backtracking, awful music and colorful style hamper the Castlevania experience.

While the graphics and sound aren’t anything to write home about, the gameplay is solid.

I've been playing for over ten hours and the end doesn't seem to be anywhere in sight yet, so there also seems to be a good amount of depth to the title.

Thanks to the new backgrounds, improved graphics, extra characters and loads of unlockable goodies it almost seems like a semi-sequel to BR 3.

The cuteness factor is a little high (geez, just look at that box art), but don't be deceived, even if you're an adult Turbo Turtle Adventure will keep you entertained for days.

There’s a little more emphasis on action instead of puzzles like in other Scooby games, but still good.

The modifications to the gameplay system take it down a notch from the Sega CD original and the PSX/Saturn remakes and the translation is a little sloppy in places, but the experience is still mostly a positive one.

Some might find the control a tad complicated and some missions overly difficult, but the action is very solid, overall.

The combo system is a throwback to seven years ago, but the three-style combat helps elevate it above the older MK titles. Just don't go into this one expecting "Virtua Fighter."

The major problem lies with the fact that when all is said and done, Doom is still the same game it was almost ten years ago.

In the end though, it comes down to gameplay, something which Fire Pro Wrestling has by the bucketload.

Aside from these occasional moments of ludicrously unbalanced fighting, Rocky is a very fun boxing game that does require a good amount of skill to master.

The quest is long, the game is filled with optional material and despite said deja vu, just about every aspect of MMBN 2 is above average.

This is not a game for action oriented people, but if a compelling and interesting story can entertain you, the ease of the interface, the beautiful graphics and nice music should keep you interested until you’re finished.

Monster Force's largest shortcoming seems to be occasionally repetitive gameplay. Those that can look past that, as well as the game's outward juvenile appearance, should find a solid title with fantastic presentation.

If you own a PS2, get that version instead.

Buoyed by deep strategies, a decent amount of gameplay modes and a fast-paced style of play.

For classic gaming fans who were there when these titles were new or for retro fans who respect the roots of the industry, the latest edition of Namco Museum is a great budget title to pick up.

The sound is terrible, background art is mostly horrendous, and the single-player mode is absolutely worthless, as even on its highest difficulty it’s extremely easy to beat.

All of the elements of the game are pretty sound, but it occupies a strange place in the sport... too exagerrated for sim fans and not exegerated enough for some arcade fans.

The ability to use both the gun and sword (other weapons as well, later on) gives the game a fantastic mount of variety that could have made it the best Mega Man game to date, but time and again this freedom is overshadowed by the shackles of restrictive design that was intended to make the game harder, but ends up sucking the fun out of things.

The graphics are well above average, the sound is superb and the gameplay is good, if a tad stale.

If you're not into silly kart-racer style gameplay but still want a portable driving game for the GBA, then your search ends with Hot Wheels Burnin' Rubber.

The game offers an astounding amount of length and replayability in single player mode, not to mention thirteen types of multi-player games and secrets to unlock.

Fantastic sound, great graphics and easily some of the best cinemas yet seen in a video game.
