Nintendo PowerSerious soccer fans should like it as much as casual fans looking for a fast-paced game. [Aug 2002, p.143]
-
It may not have the totally outrageous antics of NFL Blitz, or NHL Hitz, but it does thrive on contact, speed and transition.
-
It goes into slightly more realistic territory without sacrificing the fun, easy-to-learn gameplay that most of Midway's sports games possess.
-
A game which while enjoyable at first, is neither all out brutal or skillfull enough a simulation to make you want to hone either your fighting or football skills for months to come.
-
Midway shouldve opted for smaller teams rather than 11 on 11 play. Think of Hitz, Blitz or Jam. This was a major game design folly here.
-
It's really a case of great game additives making up for mediocre game design.
-
Definitely more fun multiplayer than alone, I'm still not sure how long you'll want to play this one after the novelty wears off.
