Red Dead Redemption 2 is the game that I would like to keep playing for years. The wild west is marvelous and full of interesting events. The story is both solid and attractive. What's more, the interactive system makes a great progress and you can interact with nearly everyone in various ways, and it feels really real. RDR2 definitely will be one of the greatest video games of all time.

It's difficult to imagine just how much effort and passion Larian Studios put into Baldur's Gate 3 to create such a groundbreaking masterpiece. As the first sequel in two decades, it successfully continues the legendary story of Baldur's Gate. With exceptional freedom and intricate combat mechanics, it opens up the possibility for more people to enjoy the unique appeal of DND. It overshadows all the games I've played this year and gives us a CRPG experience like no other.

I wouldn't say The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the kingdom is a perfect game, but it's definitely a game that puts fun first from start to finish. It does have some imperfections, but they don't detract from its outstanding multi-dimensional gameplay and innovative design concepts that set the industry standard.

In Astro Bot, behind the hundreds of adorable little robots, I see a team of creators who truly love video games. They've harnessed the power of the PS5 and the exceptional haptic feedback of the DualSense controller to deliver an unforgettable platforming adventure. During this cosmic journey, I believe you'll rediscover, just like I did, the purest and most joyful moments of playing video games. Forget about those disappointing live-service games, in-game purchases, and microtransactions. We genuinely need more games like Astro Bot.

God of War is a successful reboot of one of the most brutal hack-and-slash action games, and it's remarkable, fun and still uber-violent. The core gameplay has changed significantly, and Santa Monica did take a risk that won't appeal to some orthodox God of War fans. But all in all it turns out that those new game mechanics are so well-crafted and of course it's great progress.

Shadow of the Erdtree perfectly accomplishes everything it sets out to do. It makes the story of Elden Ring more complete and breathes new life into this addictive masterpiece. Shadow of the Erdtree can also remind Tarnished why they embarked on their journey to the Lands Between in the first place. So, even though the guidance has been shattered, please enjoy this final adventure of the Elden Lord.

The upgrade of image performance, the improvement of settings, the adaptation of different platforms, and the excellent localization work. The next-generation version of "The Witcher 3" has made great progress after a series of updates. CDPR successfully turned this "former masterpiece" into a "present masterpiece", making it rejuvenate.

The quality of God of War: Ragnarok exceeds expectations. If you are looking forward to a sequel that is fully enhanced on the basis of God of War, then Ragnarok is definitely the game you want. Its gaming experience is completely an enjoyment. Most importantly, The plot of Ragnarok is based on respecting both the character and fans. For Kratos, a beloved character, we may not hope he will be the "God killer"again, but he can get a good home and someone will inherit his legacy and continue the story of "God of War".

Considering it's one of the most anticipated games of 2020, I knew the game would be great before I actually started. What really surprised me is that it is even better than I could have thought. The Last Of Us: Part II is not only the greatest masterpiece Naughty Dog has ever made but also the best story-driven video game of all time.

If you have always been interested in the God of War franchise but unable to play it due to game console exclusiveness, now is your perfect chance to experience the greatness of God of War. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a rich and immersive experience. It offers an excellent adaptation of the original story, blending flashbacks and mini-games into the story smoothly. As the party grows, the game smartly avoids overcrowding by splitting the team into two, allowing each character to stand out. The ATB combat system is more action-focused with detailed improvements, new cooperative moves, and team members making fights more dynamic and fun. The only minor issues are the game's somewhat predictable open world and the awkward movement across the map. However, these don't spoil the overall great experience.

Four years later, Forza Horizon 5 remains an irreplaceable presence in the world of open-world racing games. Its debut on PS5 doesn't introduce much new content, but for players who have yet to experience the series, its sheer scale, polish, and sense of freedom are more than enough to deliver dozens, if not hundreds, of hours of enjoyment.

Although the gameplay of the original Demon's Souls isn't out of date in 2020, Bluepoint still did a perfect remake job. It's not only because the remake version looks like a next-gen blockbuster, but also because it plays more smoothly than before. If you love souls-like games, you really should buy PS5 as soon as possible to enjoy it.

Building upon the concepts of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, and refining them further, Metaphor: ReFantazio delivers a highly satisfying experience. In terms of story, it offers excellent character development, while its gameplay system introduces a wide range of class combinations, adding depth to the mechanics. That said, the overall story quality of Metaphor is not particularly groundbreaking, and it feels more like a refined take on traditional dungeon-crawling RPGs rather than an innovative or revolutionary creation.

The concept of Shadow of the Colossus is unique and full of charm. The remastered version on PS4 is remarkable, which means it is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to try it, no matter whether you are an existing fan or a new player. However, Fumito Ueda's works are always a little bit cult, so it is also understandable if you may not get into this game.
