Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is the pinnacle of the series and possibly one of the best Atelier games ever made. Its revolutionary open-world changes not only greatly improve the core gameplay experience, but also fill in the previously empty spaces of the game. The alchemy system in this game has also gained greater freedom due to the open world and key system. If you are a veteran of the series, you can easily skip the early game tutorial. New players can also gradually experience the joy of progressing and becoming stronger through the alchemy process.

Europa Universalis V arrives with an impressive degree of polish and an already massive amount of content, even in its initial release. It feels like a culmination of Paradox's grand-strategy expertise—deep enough to lose yourself in for hundreds of hours. At the same time, its overall structure still leaves plenty of room for future expansion, making it easy to believe the game will only grow to even greater heights.

Football Manager 2021 fully retains the soul of this franchise with a history of more than 20 years, which only develops gradually in some details. It is not suitable for all players, and even many players who love football will be dismissed. Only those who really want to become hardcore football fans are willing to patiently study and fall in love with this game.

The Thronebreaker is not just an expansion pack of Gwent, but also a brand new RPG in Witcher world. Although some cards might be overpower, the overall impression of this game is magnificent. It is a great present to all Witcher fans.

Playing Shadow Gambit feels like peeling an onion - as I progress from the outer layers to the core, taking down enemies in the city, and each achievement is small, often mixed with discomfort and bitterness.

Whether the 4k60 frames or the powerful features of DualSense, the experience of Death Stranding: Director's Cut has been taken to another level. With this Director's Cut, there will be some new feelings when going through the "journey of connection" again.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a bold step for Ubisoft. Not only does it show their great skill in making platform action games, but it also deserves praise for successfully creating a great Metroidvania game at the first attempt. The clever rewind action and memory fragment marking system are also good ideas for the future of Metroidvania games.

Before you buy Dirt Rally 2.0, ask yourself: do you have the faith to conquer this tough game? If not, this game might not suit you. It's only prepared for those who love challenges.

Anno 117: Pax Romana continues the series' steady forward stride, refining an already well-established design while introducing new systems that genuinely refresh the experience. It delivers a layer of novelty that sets it apart from previous entries, without losing the strategic depth that defines the franchise.

Two Point Museum proves that Two Point Studios has found a formula that is both replicable and refreshingly unique. By selecting a new theme for each installment while retaining the core gameplay, they manage to bring just enough new twists to keep things interesting, offering a steady but limited stream of delightful surprises.

BALL x PIT offers a highly diverse range of build options, while its city-building system outside of combat creates a long and rewarding progression curve. There's always a new goal to pursue, and the constant cascade of bouncing balls delivers a uniquely satisfying, almost pachinko-like thrill.

Compared to the original version, you barely can find any difference in Ultra Sun/Moon. The good part is, USUM keeps the advantages of SM, while the bad part is, many previous faults can still be found in USUM. This is an expansion with no sincerity.

It is no exaggeration that Shin Megami Tensei V is one of the most fun turn-based RPGs on the market. Unique and numerous demons are available for collection; the turn-based system that needs to develop strategies for weaknesses is fun and playable; the large, complex and sufficiently substantial maze is also very exciting to explore. But there is no doubt that this game is not suitable for some players. If you are not interested in traditional turn-based RPG, it will be difficult to find fun in this game. The above advantages will instantly become unbearable for players.

In terms of story length, character progression, and the sheer amount of content layered across its systems, Octopath Traveler 0 is undeniably substantial. That said, from a design standpoint it never quite achieves the cohesive feel of Octopath Traveler I and II. Some of its more awkward mechanics feel like the byproduct of trimming down mobile-style excess rather than purpose-built systems, with these issues only becoming fully apparent in the later stages of the game.

BlazBlue Entropy Effect X stands out as one of the most action-driven roguelikes available. It also handles long-term play fatigue and freshness well: the Legacy Talent system lets players carry builds forward between runs, while the highly customizable Chaos and Extreme difficulty options add challenge to offset repetition in the later stages.

The Curse of the Pharaohs offers a fantastic journey, while you finally have a chance to visit one of the most famous ancient Egypt city Thebes, and four pharaohs' tombs with their beautiful after-life worlds. We still can find some defects which came from the original game, but as a DLC, this 10+ hours' journey is satisfying enough.

Dark Souls Remastered keeps the original feelings with advanced graphics performance, which gives many players a chance to try this game on the latest console. But obviously 60 dollars is way too much for a remastered game that almost changes nothing, some old fans may think this edition lacks sincerity.

The reboot of Forza Motorsport has been a success. Its extensive support options and accessibility settings make it perhaps the most suitable racing game for beginners. The changes to the gameplay and rules also make for a more realistic racing experience. Unfortunately, this long-awaited six-year wait has failed to fully showcase its highlights.

NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound is more than a tribute, it's a modernized take built on a sharp understanding of the original. It retains the series' signature challenge and slick combat while introducing fresh elements like dual protagonists, offering a new experience for both veterans and newcomers.

INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road benefits enormously from its abundance of modes and sheer volume of content, and the unfinished pieces still in progress even add a sense of future promise. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge retains the original style of the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games to the greatest extent possible, but also makes many new improvements in line with the times. Its retro-style levels have many interesting classic elements, the combat system has been largely renovated, and the online co-play system also has some original designs. However, some of the levels have some problems that affect the experience, the BOSS battle has few highlights, making it a relatively mediocre gameplay experience, and also difficult to bring a sufficient sense of achievement.

If you're new to the beloved Dragon Quest series, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake could be the perfect introduction. Staying true to the original gameplay and combat system, this remake adds a few new touches, each of which is thoughtful and commendable. However, the core of the game remains rooted in its 30-year-old origins. Whether that feels 'a little too dated' depends entirely on your point of view.
