With an increased focus on realistic movement, FIFA 14 takes a step away from the fast paced, easy accessible gameplay that has defined the series for years. It's a harder game to get into, but way more fun when you actually do. Some slight issues with the AI is annoying, but FIFA 14 is still a guarantee for hours of football fun.- Gamer.no

With improved physics and an incredible depth in gameplay, PES 2014 is a step in the right direction for Konami. The game still suffers from weak AI, lack of licenses and few innovations in their gameplay modes, but its the closest the series have come in matching PES 6, the highlight of the series.- Gamer.no

The collisions in NHL 14 are huge. Combined with realistic movements is this a game hockey fans would love. The fights are now integrated in a better way, to make everything look more like an actual TV production. The game flows really well, and the steps towards realism are a great plus.- Gamer.no

Grand Theft Auto V is one of the best sandboxes that video games have to offer. Where massive worlds often are plagued by boring missions and lifeless areas, Rockstar has managed to make an incredibly engaging game that still retains a humongous and lively world.- Gamer.no

Pikmin 3 is a cute game with plenty of soul. It takes the concept from the two previous games one step further with the way it combines tactics with roleplaying. In terms of graphics this is probably the most beautiful game the world has ever seen on a Nintendo console.- Gamer.no

Killzone: Mercenary is sort of like an ambitious little brother, trying to fill his older brother's shoes – and in some ways he is able to do so. The result is a handheld shooter that looks and plays great, but it is far from perfect.- Gamer.no

Thunder Wolves is a rather conservative and uninspired arcade game that focuses on simple target shooting as its central gameplay component. Firing indiscriminately at anything that moves is fun for a while, but the game simply does not offer enough variety of challenges to master and also feels technically unpolished.- Gamer.no

Admittedly, Puppeteer does resemble a somewhat traditional platformer at its core. However, the generic mechanics are nevertheless well executed, and coupled with wildly imaginative visuals and an enveloping atmosphere this is an undeniably memorable game that never runs out of surprises.- Gamer.no

The game can be highly frustrating, annoying and borderline upsetting, but the brilliantly told story and intense atmosphere keep you going. Jim Peyton is one of the best defined protagonists in a video game, and his story deserves to be experienced.- Gamer.no

Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs is a pretty good game, with a well written story, good voice acting, an atmospheric musical score, suitably varied and eerie environments, and quite a few stomach churning and downright creepy moments. It never gets boring or frustrating, and there are no passages in particular that qualify as less than enjoyable. Unfortunately, though, it’s just not that scary. And that’s quite the let down for a horror game.- Gamer.no

Creative Assembly has created a game that could be the pinnacle of their great strategy franchise. Unfortunately Rome II is marred by a number of technical flaws that ruin the experience. Hopefully the game can be redeemed by future patches.- Gamer.no

The Wonderful 101 is a good game, marred by insisting on repeating both enemies, inside jokes and half-baked variations. The combat system works excellent, and is enough to make sure the game thrives.- Gamer.no

DuckTales Remastered is a brilliant remake of a classic game. The levels are rebuilt and just like you remember them on the NES. DuckTales Remastered serves you a delicious nostalgic feeling, but I think this game would fit better on a handheld console.- Gamer.no

At first glance, New Super Luigi U looks exactly the same as New Super Mario Bros. U. New Super Luigi U feels almost the same as the prequel, but with shorter levels and less time to finish them it has it's strengths in the levels with high amounts of speed and timed jumps.- Gamer.no

The Walking Dead - 400 Days delivers action, story and horror in perfect-sized bites. Even though it lacks the strong leading characters like Clementine and Lee, it still packs a good amount of fun gameplay. Too bad it’s over way too quickly, but 400 Days does make the perfect bride between The Walking Dead Season One and Two and is strong entry to the series.- Gamer.no

With some small adjustments Koei presents the most polished and complete game of the Warriors-series. New elements like the Ambition-mode will make both hard core fans and newcomers to the saga have a blast with this addition to the popular hack and slash feast.- Gamer.no

A good and punishing rogue-like which is just as easy to hate as it is to love. As you explore the random levels this really challenging 2-D platformer will make you cry and laugh at the same time. You’ll need high concentration and a big chunk of patience to have fun with this one. Spelunky is just as fun on the PC as it was one year ago on the Xbox 360, and the gaming masochists’ very best friend.- Gamer.no

This emotional and powerful story about two brothers and their sacrifice is told in a way that’ll make you take a step back think. Starbreeze tells us multiple stories, all set in a brutal and unfair world, where family is everything that matters. The control system is quite unique and will probably not suite everybody, but they are interesting enough to make even the simplest puzzles exciting.- Gamer.no

Shadowrun Returns suffers from a few design flaws and a rather short main campaign, but it’s still an entertaining RPG. The strategic combat is interesting, but too easy even on hard difficulty. The RPG system is rather shallow, and none of the games important decisions are yours to make, even though the story is solid enough. This’ll be a nostalgic trip for older gamers and a good introduction to an old fashioned RPG for the younger ones. Sadly Harebrained rely too much on the community for new content.- Gamer.no

Hotline Miami is a short and bittersweet mix of fast-paced violence and monotonous repetition, where stupendous AI and crazy amounts of randomness interrupt the experience on a regular basis. It’s stylish and mindless fun, but quite annoying nonetheless.- Gamer.no

The Bureau is a smart action game that combines the tactical aspect of Mass Effect with the simplicity of Bioshock. A surprisingly solid story makes this a great individual game, even if it struggles to find it's place in the XCOM-series.- Gamer.no

A punk-apocalyptical action game with an intense rock&roll atmosphere. Charlie Murder is a real treat for fans of old school "beat 'em up" games, although the gameplay suffers from stacking too many underdeveloped ideas into the same package.- Gamer.no
