Great fun. That is if fun is the same as a dark story, horrible imagery, tricky murder riddles and dying teenagers. Great times at Hope's Peak Academy.- Gamer.no

Year Walk is an intense and uncomfortable point-and-click horror adventure. Its puzzles rely heavily on the player’s ability to observe and deduce, and the game never directly tells the player what to do next. Granted, Year Walk has some good jump scares, but it’s really the atmosphere that makes it shine, weighing down on your shoulders like heavy Swedish snow.- Gamer.no

Donkey Kong is back and looking better than ever. This platformer doesn't hold your hand, and offers brutal challenges along the way. Overcoming the obstacles offers a great feeling of accomplishment, and will leave you wanting more.- Gamer.no

It’s a lot of fun being a thief in the newest Thief. It’s not so much fun avoiding pesky enemies, navigating a claustrophobic city or bearing with the poor plot, but in the end the game manages to pull through nicely.- Gamer.no

Lightning Returns is a fun game filled with myriad things to do. The combat system is excellent, and the many options with with you can customize Lightning brings are impressive. It's a fitting end to the series and bodes well for the future of Final Fantasy.- Gamer.no

A massive disappointment. It tells a confusing and uninteresting story in a bloated game that works against you at every angle. The combat can be fun at times, and reaches its high points during the various boss fights.- Gamer.no

Ys: Memories of Celceta is as traditional as it gets, with plenty of JRPG clichés, but it’s still a hell of a lot of fun to play.- Gamer.no

Carving up an indefinite amount of faux-Soviet robot soldiers isn't the worst way to spend a couple of hours, but Strider won't go down in the annals of history is a modern day action classic.- Gamer.no

There hasn't been a lot of tweaks to the overall LEGO game formula, but The LEGO Movie Videogame manages to feel fresh and exciting to play. Levels are shorter, there are less collectibles, and the experience feels much more focused than in previous games. It is a great argument for the less is more approach to game design.- Gamer.no

While the retro style graphics and soothing music by chiptune artist Lifeformed turns Dustforce into a very meditative experience, there isn't much to the game beyond being simply another two-dimensional indie platformer.- Gamer.no

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a charming and incredibly fun adventure, keeping you on your non-existent octopus toes and wanting more. It’s just a shame that there’s only so much to see and do in this colorful universe, with a premature ending that leaves much to be desired.- Gamer.no

Fable is still a charming and extremely engaging adventure. It's fun and entertaining, and the worlds Lionhead create are filled with magic. It is, however, showing it's age. Aside from the stiff animations several gameplay systems are out of date and could have benefited from an overhaul.- Gamer.no

Gran Turismo 6 is a massive game, and it is fantastic in its best moments, but the shortcomings of the series are getting difficult to ignore. Most notably the awful sounds and the lack of a proper damage model.- Gamer.no

The Banner Saga is one of the most engrossing games I've played in a long time. It drives you forward and is incredibly hard to put down. It's the kind of game that throws you a really unpleasant curveball when you least expect it, and I love it.- Gamer.no

While there is a lot of fun racing game shenanigans to be had, there isn't a lot of variety between the various events you can take part in. This extends to the multiplayer aspect of the game, which ends up feeling hollow and empty.- Gamer.no

Rain Games have done a stellar job with Teslagrad. They have created an atmospheric world that drags you in and implores you to explore it. The graphics and art style are wonderful, the puzzles are logical and satisfying to solve, and the game is a proper challenge even for weathered gamers.- Gamer.no

While Mario may have stumbled a bit in his last few releases, Super Mario 3D World proves that Nintendo is still one of the finest makers of platform games out there. Everything from the visuals, the music, character animation and level design is incredibly well thought out and implemented, and it is one of those games that's worth buying a Wii U to play.- Gamer.no

Killzone: Shadow Fall is a game you can toss into your new PlayStation 4 to get a glimpse of the possibilities of next gen. In some years it’ll be remembered as a rather timid launch game, but right now it can capitalize on being one of the consoles first games. It’s a competent shooter with a lacking campaign.- Gamer.no

Rocksmith 2014 is hands down the best music game I have ever played. It turns honing skills and learning an instrument into an incredibly enjoyable game which constantly feeds you positive feedback. While the addition of Marvel's super hero canon is great, there has been done very little to improve the bog standard formula of the LEGO series so far. You still smash and build your way through various colourful levels, and it's a game flow that's starting to show its age. Once you remove all the fan-service you're left with nothing but an average game that relies too much on gaming OCD to be worth it.- Gamer.no

Phoenix Wright's latest misadventure in the courtroom is undoubtedly his greatest. The overarching plot is as well written as always, with plenty of in-jokes and pop cultural references. While the central gameplay of the series remains intact, the game manages to make it all feel fresh through a number of small updates that improve the overall flow of the game.- Gamer.no
